Although the restaurant is beautiful and clean and food was delicious, I cant give full stars because we booked an event and they decided they needed to do construction on the wall connected to where we were sitting. We couldnt hear ourselves talk. It was so loud and disruptive. Absolutely unnecessary when we had the event scheduled for over a month. Our waitress was excellent but the food wait was at least half of an hour to 45 minutes and there were only 2 other tables. It was slow, but the kitchen was slower. We were only a party of 8 and didnt order anything complicated. Everyone at our table kept looking for when our food would come. Its a shame to give poor rating when there is so much potential at this restaurant.

The food was excellent! But the bartender CARLEY was rude and very unprofessional. My friend and I ordered margaritas on the rocks. Now I am on vacation trying to enjoy my time with my family. Carley (the bartender) made our drinks in a extremely poor manner. We sent them back and she looks in our direction and says loudly in a rude an unprofessional tone, Loud enough for other patrons to hear her say..the drinks are made with the lawful amount of alcohol and mixer and will all come out the same These drinks had nothing but lemonade in them!! I have worked as a server and a bartender. My customers were treated as Kings and Queens. Patrons should have the privilege to be satisfied because they have chosen this specific Restaurant. As should I, should have been satisfied. But we were treated in an inadequate manner! Carley should be a dishwasher in the kitchen at some other restaurant.!! Our waiter Gage was very pleasant and charming. He did an excellent job.

We luv to hang at the bar where the bar food is great (along with main courses) Bartenders, like Maddie tonight, are always friendly and accommodating for you sports channel desires. Gumbo was good. If you dont want to use a teaspoon, bring your own soup spoon. They were out of them. Lobster tacos were made with claw meat. It had a frozen taste to it. Overall it wasnt that impressive.

Yall I had the sweetest thing happen earlier making a lunch order at Judices 1927. They made a post about boudin balls yesterday and I made up my mind that I was gonna order some today. I made the order with some kisses and hugs and MAN did I get rewarded. First of all. 6 boudin balls for $7 with sauce is a killer deal in the first place, but I also *needed* ONE of their pistolettes as well. When I picked the order up, the hostess were so very nice and when I got to my moms to drop her b. balls off, I noticed they gave me not one but 3 pistolettes with love notes on top of the boxes. How adorable is that?? Going the extra mile is something that always keeps me going back to local businesses. Treat yourself to some Judices ASAP. This is hands down one of the best restaurants in Jefferson County. We got a lot of food because we could not decide on what to get. Everything sounded so great. And the food was great. Beef Wellington done great! Salads were fresh, and the boudin egg rolls were fabulous. The waiter was very attentive. Definitely a place to get a belly full of great food!

My wife and I had lunch here a few weeks ago. The food was delicious as it always is. My only issue was with the waiter we had. It was an awkward experience. He seemed as though he knew me and I owed him money. However, he did show more respect towards my wife. It just made for an uncomfortable dining experience. Overall, I would eat here again. But hopefully my experience is much better. I dont have his name, but he was a short black guy.

Could have fried the shrimp at home better, Osyter was just right, Fried crawfish to little should put back in the pond. The BBQ crabs are legendary and a golden triangle tradition. The atmosphere is a bit lacking but the hospitality and service are great. Enjoyed the crab cakes and boudin balls to start. Filled up on BBQ crabs. Was happy to find out you can forgo the side dish for an extra crab at no extra charge. Highly recommended and will be returning.

I decided to try this place out for the BBQ crab as the reviews likened it to the old Sartin s. After trying it, I can state is not like Sartin s at all regarding the crabs as you cannot taste seasoning on the meat, and the meat in the crabs is dried out and is tasteless. It is $30 for bbq crab and you have option to get 6 crabs for $30 or $5 crabs and a side. It is not worth it. If you want bbq crab like the old Sartin s made, go to Touch of Cajun on Boston avenue as they have the old Sartin s bbq crabs that everyone remembers. Save your money and do not buy the crab here. This is a beautiful restaurant with fantastic service but the food is way lacking. I gave up eating the crabs after working hard to deshell the meat from two crabs. Why do all of that work for bland dry crab meat? It was very disappointing. Perhaps their other food is good as I only had the crab. I don t know if it is any better than the crab. One of the people with me had the grilled shrimp and stayed it was good. They are some of my crab and said it tasted like fish and not crab meat. Perhaps they had an off night with cooking the crab as that can happen but I will not go back and get the crab again.

The server was nice, the fiod was actually good. I didnt like how they were getting the orders incorrectly. After we ate a very small portion they took it and gave it to the other customer. Very unsanitary. It was a large party ,but that shd have gone back to the kitchen or allowed us to keep it bc we ordered the same thing. The etoufee was ok. We got the grilled oysters. They we slightly grilled under a broiler. Mediocre at best. The fried crawfish tails were very salty and were the grilled shrimp. The French fries were limp, soggy, and cold. We got the bread pudding to end our meal. It was very hot on the edges but almost frozen in the middle. It was microwaved. This meal was a total waste of time and money. We will not return.

Yesterday was my first time eating here and I left impressed with my overall experience. Ive eaten at other French restaurants in Houston & my goodness this place topped them all. My waiter, as well as the cook were super awesome too! I love buffalo wings, but was craving to try their fried shrimp basket. On a whim I asked my waiter if I could have my shrimp smothered in buffalo wing sauce. He wasnt sure because it wasnt on the menu & to my amazement he came out with a hot steaming plate of BUFFALO FRIED SHRIMP with FRIES. Oh my goodness it was so crispy & flavorful ! I LOVE THIS PLACE & will be coming back the next time Im in town visiting. Oh yeah, their boudain balls were superb too!

This was a very enjoyable experience. We ordered BBQ crab and the house salad. The crab were fried with and well seasoned. We are big eaters and had a lot left over to take home. Will never be back! Took my husband here for his birthday tonight and we wanted to try them again since it s been a couple of years (assuming they have gotten better since the Taste of the Triangle recognition this year), but it was worse than it has ever been!! Came in for BBQ crabs and after seated for an hour they finally tell us they are out of crabs and have been for weeks. Notice: there was no sign or notice stating such and this is what this building has been famous and known for back when it was Sartin s Seafood (different owners). We then decide to try the crawfish since it was a good deal of $20/5lbs and it was worse than eating at the Chinese buffets. The crawfish had zero flavor and were very dry. We had to add/shake seasoning on top just to consume it, knowing we should have just sent them back. We were also told they would compensate us for them also being out of corn to go with the crawfish because they were also out of, but never did. Service was HORRIBLE and we literally sat down at 6:30 and didn t eat dinner until 8:15. Absolutely rediculous For the $200 that we spent as a whole family of 6!!! The only thing that came out right and had a decent flavor was the spicy boudin balls we ordered for an appetizer.

I never get enough of the food prepared at Judices 1927. I have been traveled from Houston once a week for the last month. Prices are great and the staff is phenomenal. (Renee, Rachel, Bennie, Darcy and others) I love the owners/chefs Al Judice & Jonathan Hersey.

The reason I am putting 3 stars is because the music was way to loud food was good but was not really enjoyable because of the noise of the music and I deal with loud noise all day and night don t like dealing with it when I m trying to eat. Can t have a good conversation when the music is that loud couldn t even hear the waiter ask us what we wanted other then that the meal was good little bit spicy but good. And the service was good but couldn t really hear him.

My friends and I gave our friend a birthday dinner and I enjoyed my meal our waitress Marina was great! I went a second time for the same two dishes wish was the blacken red and fried fish, shrimps and oysters. I know where to go now when I want fried fish thats not breaded and peeling off the fish.

I recently visited the restaurant for my birthday and the atmosphere was great, but the food was somewhat ok. It seems like all the restaurants in this area are now substituting SWAI for catfish. I specifically asked the waitress if they served SWAI as a substitute for catfish, because a lot of restaurants are doing it because its cheaper than regular catfish, she told me they had catfish. Real catfish is not mooshie like that SWAI, which is what I was served. I was very disappointed.

I came in hungry and left happy, full and satisfied. Very nice and inviting interior and 5 Star dishes. Great crawfish. Sweet tail meat that hit the spot. You gotta try the king cake pistolette, it s simply marvelous. Service was perfect, thank you Amber and Crew. I can t wait to come back and try another dish!

This was my second time going to Judice s. I first went for their crawfish, which was standard, but this time, I went during lunch. The service and workers were nice, but the food was below average. I went on a weekday, so it was not busy at all, and I ordered the grilled salmon and half a dozen of raw oysters. The grilled salmon came out completely raw on the inside. In my picture you can see that the outside is charred, but the interior is not cooked at all. The oysters also came out significantly sandy, and I felt like they were not cleaned completely. It was really disappointing, and I have not seen food uncooked and uncleaned like this before.

We allways drive by the restaurant and is full so we wanted to try it finally , my brother in law and his wife came from alabama to visit and they went with me and my husband to dinner .The food is so good , we order the budan balls spicy and the spicy pork kabob for appetizers, it was great very tasty, also they order the lobster roll very good they recommended and my husband got the fry seafood basket also good and i got the steak fritte also very good incredible experience and great service very friendly very pleasant experience.

One of the best dinning experiences that I ve had in a while. The food (appetizer, entree, dessert) was absolutely AMAZING!!! Ordered the boudin egg rolls, Bayou Delight, and then cheesecake for dessert. This truly tasted like an home cooked meal!! On top of the food being incredible, our waitress (Chelsey) was great! She was friendly and attentive. If I lived in the area, I would be here once a week to work my way through the entire menu.
