The Lodge at Mound Creek provided an unforgettable setting for our daughters wedding last weekend. Nestled in a picturesque landscape, this venue brought our family together in a celebration filled with warmth and joy. The staffs attention to detail and commitment to excellence were evident in every aspect of the event, from the beautifully arranged spaces to the seamless flow of the ceremony and reception. The rustic elegance of the lodge itself, combined with the natural beauty of its surroundings, created a magical atmosphere that made the day truly special. Our daughters wedding at The Lodge at Mound Creek was not just a ceremony but a memorable experience that exceeded all expectations.

Where to even start? This is the one and only venue my husband and I looked at. The second we saw the venue we knew this is where we would take the steps to be together forever. The lodge is one of a kind. If you want to forget you re in Texas for a bit, this is the way to go. No rustic barn/ modern white situation In this venue. It s absolutely draped in stunning logs and lighting with a fire place that s just out of this world. It rained on our wedding day, we had to have it inside. I was heart broken at first but after seeing our photos in front of that fire place I don t know it just feels like magic. The venue needs hardly any decor. Got away with some greenery, a few love signs, and engagement/ bridal photos everywhere. Which was an absolute dream not having to worry about that so much. Katie was and, I cannot stress this enough, absolutely amazing. We booked with her/ the venue 3 years ahead of time to afford it but the fact that that was even an option was amazing. We went with a package through them, the forever. The had recommendations on all vendors. Their most trusted and vetted. I called her/texted her for years before with questions. I don t recommend, BUT she always got back with me with a smile. They gave my husband and I the greatest night of our lives up until this point and the lodge will forever be so very very special to my husband and I. Thank y all so much.

The moment I saw this venue online I knew I needed to see it ASAP. I scheduled a tour same day. We fell in love, & booked it soon after, over a year in advanced. The staff is absolutely wonderful. The day of our wedding 11/10/2022, was a movie! One thing I love about this venue is you don t need to add too much decor, it s already so beautiful & was perfect for our evening fall wedding. Our guests were also raving about the venue! I wish I could do my wedding all over again, it was the most perfect night. Thank you Katie, Jules, & the rest of the lodge staff.

Made our wedding so so so easy to plan. We used one of their packages and it walked us through planning things for our wedding that we had not even thought of! Made the day of a walk in the park! Not to mention the countless compliments we got on the whole day/venue

Omgggg the lodge is 5/5, honestly 5 is not even enough. My wedding was yesterday and I had to stop and leave a review for this well deserved venue. From the minute we selected the Lodge everything from start to finish was organized and professional. Katie the owner is absolutely amazing. She was so informative, welcoming and available lol. Like I would literally have questions at midnight and she would respond quickly and so kind. We decided to go with one of their awesome wedding packages, which for brides like myself that planning is not their thing it puts everything together for you, so helpful. The venue is so beautiful and was perfect for my rustic romantic black tie wedding. Elizabeth with EMEVENTs is the best wedding planner/coordinator ever. She went above and beyond for myself and my fiancé. She also was always available and stood by my side even when my family were driving me crazy or I was driving myself crazy lol. She was very organized and made sure I made every meeting for every vendor we selected. She was so loving and honest with her opinions. I honestly can t say enough about her. My cousin is getting married and also is planning on working with Elizabeth. Our chef, Chef Michaels food was amazing and DJ Rob was an amazing DJ. And Monica s brides (florist and decor) made all the decor breath taking. Even writing this I m in tear because this team assured I had my dream wedding end that it was. Even my guest raves about everything. Thank you everything

This place is a real treasure. The beautiful outdoor ceremony has gorgeous landscaping and a arch that is full of greenery that brightens up the outside any time of year. The lodge itself with the redwood staircase and stone fireplace make it truly a visual delight. Katie was a pleasure to work with and all the staff were helpful friendly and polite. The wooden tables and chairs were stunning and very comfortable. The staff did the set up of the place settings and table decor and it was a work of art. My son Andy and daughter in law Emily will have memories of a lifetime from their special day at the Lodge at Mound Creek! Thank you Katie and staff for making their day a masterpiece.

Beautiful place for a wedding. I was invited to perform a wedding as a wedding officiant. From the parking lot to the venue, there is lots of gravel. Ladies, be prepared with the high heals. The venue itself is excellent for small weddings.

The best choice I made was booking this venue for our special day!!! Not only is it gorgeous, it has the best packages for the best value too!! Our wedding planner Andrea knew what she was doing, and ensured our wedding day was perfect!! She even called us the night before to ask how we were doing!! Everyone of our guests have told us how kind the workers were at the venue and how unbelievably perfect the entire experience was!! I HIGHLY recommend this venue!!!

I ve attended a few different events at The Lodge. Weddings, parties, and even a Christmas event. This place can do it all! Beautiful grounds and building. Great for any size event. Friendly and helpful staff that goes above and beyond. You will not be disappointed!

Well, its really pretty, and the food was great. HOWEVER... Ladies, be careful in your heels, especially at night. The parking lot is completely covered in loose rocks of all sizes, making it difficult even for kids to walk. In addition, it is very dark at night, and you can hardly see where youre walking. I had on heeled boots, and tripped over the brown timber parking guides in the lot, fell, and scraped up my hands, knees and feet (and even tore my boots on those timbers.) Again - beautiful place and great food... but it gets very dark out there. Wear your FLATS. Oh, and if someone is mobility-challenged, note that 1st level seating is limited & no elevator.

This nasty man which I believe is the owner was very rude on the phone when asked a question.. Ive been doing customer service for years and even I know that everything starts with that first phone call and makes an impression on the business!! I would never refer anyone to this place for a wedding or anything.. This man should retire and or get out of the customer service industry !!! You should want someone answering the phone that is happy and excited that you called especially when youre talkin about the most important day of your life which is a wedding day !! God help this man !! I do a lot of customer service/marketing and I will be sure to let everyone know not to make this their venue !!!

The wedding was very wonderful and the bride Jackie looked very amazing in her wedding dress, the groom Aaron Dass looked very handsome in his wedding gray tuxedo. The Lodge at Mound Creek was even better than I imagined. Katie was a dream to work with - she always made sure my endless questions were answered, she included finishing touches and extras and she was always so kind and helpful. The venue is SO beautiful. The cabin-style was exactly what I was looking for. It was so warm and comforting. The details for the day-of were perfect. Everything was setup on time and there was always someone there to ask questions. They were more than accomodating and all of my guests were raving about this hidden gem! Cannot recommend this venue enough!

Back from the honeymoon and we want to shout out to Katie and her family at the Lodge! We will forever love this place. Katie and her staff went above and BEYOND for us. The tiniest details did not slip their mind. We felt like family and our guests did too. Incredible location tucked in the woods with so many options to really have it personalized for us. I was a wedding vendor here and I absolutely love this place! Ive seen a lot of venues in my line of work, but never one with so much character! The beauty is in the details, and theres plenty of them! To name a couple, the woodwork and bridal dressing room are both awe inspiring! The owners were also a pleasure to work with. What can I say? I was the first person to sign on with them, with nothing but an unfinished building in construction and a kind family who made me feel at home. Katie helped me envision the space and after months of constant updating and visiting, the venue is much much more than just a venue to me. It is a place that I saw blossom before my eyes and where I had one of the happiest moments of my life. I owe my entire wedding to Katie, she was there for me through it all and if it wasn t for her, my dream come true wouldn t have happened! The Lodge at Mound Creek isn t just a wedding venue, but it has so much character and story behind it. My husband and I will cherish the venue and the people who own and manage it FOREVER
