This wedding venue is truly amazing!! I looked at many venues around Houston, Richmond and Katy and this was by far the best one! Look no further!! 5 stars isn t enough! I m an event planner in Houston and had the opportunity to do a wedding at Jennings Trace last weekend, and I was so pleased. The booking and planning processes were both extremely smooth, and their team were all so accommodating and helpful. Corbin was onsite day of and truly a gem! She was present, pleasant, helpful and just amazing. The venue itself is always so clean, well groomed, modern, and overall beautiful. Lastly, I want to note as a black event planner with a black couple, we always felt seen and never overlooked or looked down on as I ve experienced with other venues in the area. This is a family owned business, so your experience will be different than with other more corporate venues. Book with Jennings, you will absolutely be thankful you did!

I had an amazing wedding on August 25 at Jennings Trace. I couldnt thank Cobin and her team enough. Everything was perfect. The location was 50 min on a Friday afternoon from the Heights. From the bar to having events flow on time we had an amazing time and our pictures were priceless with the venue being modern and sleek.

Very far out but a very nice venue. Definitely a place to host an event that you dont want to have open bar at. You can easily justify you wanted to make sure they got home safe and sober. I highly doubt many Uber drivers go out that far.

Where do I even begin with the BEAUTIFUL Jennings Trace. Everything is so perfectly designed for a wedding. I loved every second of being there for wedding planning and then eventually the big day! We were on the hunt for a venue that was anything not-barn or rustic and this venue immediately sold us!! The architecture is SO beautiful, modern and unique and this venue is truly a Houston gem. I absolutely LOVE Jennings Trace Venue! The aesthetics of the venue are breathtaking, sleek, and modern. My husband and I opted to purchase the all-inclusive package for our wedding day, and we are glad we did. We received top-tier service from our wedding day coordinator, Kaylin. She is truly an angel from God. The love she gave my husband and I on one of the most beautiful, yet hectic, days of our lives was amazing! Not to mention, in comparison to other venues, in the surrounding area, their prices are very competitive. We absolutely chose the perfect venue for our gorgeous wedding celebration! We just wasted over 2 hours driving to the venue only to be ignored at our appointment time. I am absolutely furious and will be sure to tell everyone about this that I can. The employee stared me down and obviously saw me and didn t say she d be right with me or anything. Just ignored my existence. She was with another group that had been there a while.

Stunning venue, both for the ceremony hall and for the reception hall, plus a stunning outdoor area with fire pits and decorated trees if you have weather that cooperates. Every other venue we saw afterwards paled in comparison - we shouldnt even have bothered looking at other venues aftewards. You really dont even need many upsells from vendors to make the place prettier, its so gorgeous, which will save you tons of money on your wedding. The only ones Id recommend are something cool for your first dance, and if you want to spring for it - fireworks. Plus, Corbin is wonderful to work with. A++++, would easily recommend.

We ended up choosing Jennings Trace as our venue and we loved everything about it. Kaylin and Corbin were both a huge help and Kaylin ended up being our day of coordinator. We couldnt have had a better coordinator. Kaylin knows the venue and vendors better than anyone and things were so smooth. I actually got to enjoy my day and have fun with my friends and family. I wanted to love the venue because it s family owned but I didn t. The area is beautiful and the buildings look very pretty in pictures. In person, it was lacking a lot of character for me. The biggest disappointment for me was the grooms suite; it was very nonexistent. The tour was also one of the worst I ve been on. I was put off by the owner s comments about the conduct of previous customers and their families. The prices were also not competitive with other venues I had seen. Overall, there was generally a lack of finesse and professionalism during the tour.

Beautiful venue for a wedding. Beautiful buildings and I love the brides room. But the grooms room could be a little larger . The grounds are well kept and the outside seating areas provide a quiet cozy spot to relax and warm yourself by the fire pit. Because I was there during the day to evaluate space for my photobooths, Im unable to comment on the night lighting on the grounds. Hopefully I can submit additional comments after the wedding.

Let me just start off by saying, this venue is breathtaking and there were so many things that I loved about it! I ended up booking Jennings Trace for my wedding and Im so glad I did. When we first walked up to it for a tour, it just felt right. The architectural design was so beautiful and something about it was calling our name. What really won me over was the bridal suite. As a makeup and hair artist myself, I wanted to make sure the functionality and design of the bridal suite was what I was looking for. I loved all the natural light coming through all the windows that they had. Seriously stunning! The venue is just as beautiful at night as it is in the morning/day and at night they have lights at the top of the reception building that reflected so beautifully against the glass windows. I was in awe. In addition, I loved how responsive and professional they were. Even though I had to reschedule my wedding due to COVID, they were very accommodating. I also loved that we had the venue all day starting at 8am and we did not have to pay extra to access the building. All of our guests were raving about how beautiful the venue was. They were so impressed that everything was in one spot and they didnt have to travel anywhere else (huge plus since majority were from out of town). I loved their outside area for our cocktail hour. It was the perfect hangout/chill spot for people to mingle. They had a fire place going out there too that added a special touch and just elevated the space. This will forever be one of my favorite venues in the Houston area. Book Jennings Trace, you will not be disappointed!

My wife and I fell in love with Jennings Trace during our first visit to the venue. We have no regrets about our wedding on this past New Years Eve (12/31/2020). It was a perfect cold night and we loved every second of the experience. The venue owner Corbin is a sweetheart and she was so helpful with every detail on our wedding day and the months leading up to our big day. We truly appreciate the amazing customer service we received and we truly feel that we gained a friend through the planning process. The venue is so nice and modern, we did not have to spend money decorating for our wedding because the venue alone gave us the look we wanted. Beautiful place... however management/service team is VERY pushy.... my fiancé and I were considering them but got the pricing and realized they didn t really fit our budget too well. When I hadn t responded to a email or two, they sent a pretty passive email asking if I had eloped to my friends and families dismay , also with a LOL at the end (and I have screen shots of the message if needed ). Doesn t seem professional in my opinion but take it as you will.

Corbin, the owner, sent weekly updates having to do with the continuously changing corona virus updates. She was super responsive and put a piece of herself into helping keep my wedding organized as well as keeping my now husband (super great to say by the way!) and I updated on what we would need to do for our guests. We only had a few small problems but Amy, our day-of helper, was right on it as to what we could do to fix it! I highly recommend this venue if anyone is looking for something modern, indoors but feels outside, and doesn t need much decorating. This venue is absolutely gorgeous and just needs a pop of color to make it your own. The only reason this isnt a 5 star review is because, day-of, we had to set up tables, chairs and grab things out of storage when before, they were promised to be set up. Its something small but messed up my mental plan of how to get everything set up in the morning.

They could improve helping stay in a budget or make some suggestions not tell people what they can afford this is their response to me when someone referred them as budget friendly. Hi there! I so appreciate Ray for sending you our info, but I think we may be out of your budget. Our rental starts at $6250 and that s the venue for the day, tables and chairs. That s not food, open bar, DJ, linens photog or anything. Having and sticking to a budget is super important and it s good to make that priority #1! You may want to check in with Deer Lake Lodge. I m not sure they allow fireworks, but I think their prices may be more what you re looking for. Also, check with 2K Reserve. I am not sure of their pricing, but it s worth a look because they are fantastic to work with! There is also a place called Relay Station Event Center

Beautiful place but management isn t as professional as one would hope. From my experience she was always adding things you couldn t do or extra charges after contract was already signed. It seemed as there was always something else added to a brides list on what you could/couldn t do. She also aired out and talked badly about her brides to current couples and it s super unprofessional. I have actual emails of her talking badly about another bride and pressuring current brides to hire a wedding planner. She even threaten to make it apart of the contract that you have to have a wedding planner in order to have a wedding at Jennings Trace. When really it should be a to each it s own kind of thing not a mandatory thing. Idk I just felt bad that she emailed her entire email list just to say horrible things about another bride (which I m positive that bride didn t know was being said about her) just because that wedding wasn t to her standards. Not trustworthy. There was multiple vendors/brides/grooms who replied all to her rant and were displeased with that unprofessionalism. (I have the email threads to prove it.) at the end of the day I m sure she will try to reply to this one star rating but there really is no excuse for doing that to one of your brides. The I just want your day to run smoothly excuse doesn t give you the right to do that.

No restrooms in area where wedding took place, no means for the bride to enter without everyone seeing her long before her grand entrance, no means of keeping wedding party out of the weather in the event that it is raining, no sound system in area of wedding, had to stand outside and wait for them to set up reception area after the wedding (they needed the chairs from the wedding to use in reception)... several guest left due to inconvenience of having to stand outside in Houston heat with no where to sit.

Our wedding (ceremony & reception) was on 3/30/19 at Jennings Trace and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at this venue! The space feels light and airy, but is also sophisticated and modern. The large windows make you feel as if you re outdoors, without actually having to deal with the unpredictable Texas weather. It is the perfect blank canvas for the bride who isn t into the farmhouse trend. We had about 200 guests at our wedding, and there was plenty of room to accommodate everyone with extra space for an even bigger dance floor (which we definitely used). The physical venue itself is such a unique gem in the greater Houston area and I d 1000% recommend to anyone and everyone who is searching for their dream wedding venue. One of my favorite aspects of the venue however is the owner and coordinator, Corbin Mock. She was an absolute dream to work with! She was superrrr helpful during the planning process, and she, along with her team, made sure every detail ran smoothly on the day of. We had so many guests with positive comments about the short-haired blonde lady who was running around helping answer guests questions, coordinating with vendors, and just getting sh*t done! We truly couldn t have done it without her! 10/10 would recommend the venue, 12/10 would recommend working with the incredible team behind the beautiful space.

My husband and I got married at Jennings Trace on 3/9/19. First off, the venue is AMAZING. I loved that it was more of a modern feel than a lot of the popular barn/farmhouse like venues that are popular right now. I loved the contrast of the light walls with dark beams and both the receptions space and ceremony space or filled with the perfect amount of light. It is a beautiful clean slate to decorate anyway you can imagine! Plus the bridal suite is huge and easily fit myself, mom, 8 bridesmaids, plus crew of 3 H&MU team. The whole property is truly exquisite and all of our guests commented on how amazing it was. On top of the beauty of the place, Corbin was so great to work with! Throughout the whole process, she kept us up to date on anything we needed to know. She was always super responsive and helpful whenever we reached out to her, and even was willing to help when we had questions about vendors or anything else. Her years of wedding planning experience were an added bonus that she was willing to share with us! I definitely recommend Jennings Trace for your wedding day!

When my now wife and I began our search for a venue, we compiled a schedule of visits to see our chosen locations and to get a feel for the space and the people operating them. My wife found a mention of Jennings Trace in a wedding article that she had read and remembered to save it, before we were even engaged. As it were, Jennings Trace was the first visit on our list and we met with Corbin at the property. When we arrived, there was nothing but a clearing in the woods with some markers, and I must admit I was skeptical at first. It wasnt until we saw the beautiful renderings and discussed the architectural details, that we realized how much thought and care Corbin had put into the inception of this venue. Every little detail was thought of thoroughly; airy lighting, open space, use of large windows, choice of materials and finishes, location and orientation of the buildings, accomodations for the bridal suite, everything. After mulling it over on the drive back into town, we realized that we loved Corbins vision and her attention to detail, which gave us the confidence to entrust our big day in her hands. We literally cancelled the rest of our scheduled visits and let her know that we wanted to book with her! As the year rolled on, Corbin kept us up to date with the construction progress. She overcame many hurdles, including Hurricane Harvey, but managed to have everything completed just in time. She even managed to get all of the grass and landscaping done in the prior weeks, even though the constant rain made it very unlikely. (Seriously Corbin, the grass was a miracle!) When it came time to get into the weeds about the ceremony and reception timeline, Corbin left no stone unturned. She made sure to cover every minute detail, things we didnt even think about, and made us reconsider some decisions we thought would work but in reality wouldnt. She helped us make sense of timing, order of events, and floor plan layouts amongst a laundry list of others. She also acted as our day-of coordinator and made sure everything we talked about in our meetings happened accordingly. She worked with the vendors during set-up to make sure everyone had everything they needed. She was always in the background being available as a resource and the day went off without a hitch! Seriously, you have to visit the space to see how beautiful it is - but what will definitely sell you is Corbins attitude and determination to make your big day the best it can be. We attended a wedding at this venue and it was a great time. Facility was clean and the staff who served dinner were friendly. The food was served quick and clean up was quick too. The wedding was beautiful altogether! I was just an attendee but from my point of view I enjoyed this venue and thought it was nice both inside an out. A small detail but I want to add their were lights in the parking area, which sits a little farther back from the entrance, so we felt safe walking out to our car at night.

Jennings Trace is a beautiful and elegant venue design that you will not see anywhere else in the area. With its tall ceilings and large windows it really has a unique feel to it. Corbin was my wedding coordinator and she is amazing! Everything was taken care and I didnt have to worry at all the day of the wedding. She is one of the most caring and compassionate people i have ever met . Corbin was such a great help in coordinating my Nieces wedding. She helped find vendors and told us what we would actually need rather than being sold extra things we didn t need in order to stay within our budget. Everything went great on the day of the wedding. Corbin had everything organized and ready to fall into place at just right time from getting dressed right down to moving tables around after the ceremony for dinner. We could not have done this without her help and knowledge of what needs to happen at the right tone throughout the evening. I cannot wait to attend events at Jennings Trace with its new Unique design and the great professional service that is provided. What a great experience!

Where do I start... Corbin is simply amazing to work with. I would have never gotten through planning a wedding of more than 500 guests without her huge help. From the very first meeting I had with her I knew choosing her to be my planner and day of coordinator would be a perfect decision. She met with me as often as I needed to talk through the large and small details. She also is very experienced with working with so many venders such as catering services, bakeries, DJs, etc. She knows who gives the best service and recommends them to you. Everyone that she recommended to me worked out great for my wedding. I cannot say enough how amazing Corbin is with her work. You can certainly tell that she truly loves her job and creating the perfect weddings for her clients. She is detailed, organized, and trustworthy. I was very blessed to have been able to use her for every step and detail of my wedding.

Corbin was our coordinator and we absolutely ADORED her. As teacher, I value organization, punctuality and possible back up plans. I had a million questions for Corbin yet she always had the answers (mainly before I even asked them) and responded to every email, call, and text promptly. Corbin was so helpful and personable throughout our whole planning process that we didnt feel like we were just clients, but friends too. We chose 99% of our vendors from her preferred list and they were all AMAZING and loved working with Corbin as well. Our PERFECT (yes, cliche, but seriously it was <3) day was so smooth and flawless and that was a huge part because of Corbin and her team! We would definitely pick her all over again! XO The Acords

This venue is going to be absolutely breathtaking!!! I was so overwhelmed in the beginning of our wedding planning process but after meeting with Corbin I could BREATHE!!! She took all my stress away! There is no detail left out! She is VERY attentive to your wants/needs and helps you think of the things you would have forgotten. I had no clue where to start when planning our wedding but Corbin was such a help and there was not one thing left out!! Highly recommend!!!

This venue looks absolutely gorgeous! An architectural gem mixed with modern finishes but still in touch with the nature surrounding it. I personally worked with the management team of this venue (Corbin Mock) for my wedding about a year and a half ago and let me tell you, she is AMAZING! She is 100% on top of her game. She made me feel so relaxed and comfortable but I knew she was working incredibly hard behind the scenes to make sure all my wishes came true. I had NO idea what I was doing planning a wedding. How to pick vendors, how the schedule should run the day of, etc. and Corbin is a complete expert. I trust her wholeheartedly! And she isnt just an amazing coordinator, shes a wonderful person. Corbin makes you feel like family. I not only had a great business/professional relationship with her, but a permanent friendship for years to come.
