Britt Smith is the best wedding specialist I have encountered thus far. From our initial meeting, she was very enthusiatic, accommodating and very patient every step of the way. She answered the many questions we had and made what seemed to be a very stressful process somewhat of a breeze by being attentive and supportive. She sold this venue for us. She is amazing!!

Beautiful venue with plenty of space for the big weddings. Attended Pakistani wedding and NIKKAH ceremony. It was just awesome with outside catering from Agas restaurant in Houston. Highly recommended.

We just attended a beautiful wedding at Arrowhead Hill. While the venue itself, the tent, the chapel and the reception hall were lovely as was the property itself, I was very disappointed in the experience with the cottages. They too were convenient and nice and large. However, they missed the mark on several fronts - there were no toiletries, not even soap or shower gel for showering - not a fan of antibacterial hand soap for a shower. No iron, no hangers, no blow dryer, no bathmat, towels looked and felt like they came out of someones home linen closet, complete with a bleach spot and fading on them. There are no chairs inside the room so no place to sit other than the bed and no place to put your luggage except the floor. There is no one you can contact if you have needs. And, to ask that I strip my own bed and empty the trash is absurd at the price point you are paying.

Completely recommend!! The staff was very responsive and kind through the whole wedding process! Having the cabins for after was a complete game changer! I would recommend this venue a hundred times over. We received so many compliments on the venue, the staff, and how well everything was maintained! I recommend taking a tour and checking it out!

My daughters wedding at Arrowhead Hill could not have been more amazing! The venue is absolutely beautiful. The sunset was an added extra. The cottages on site were perfect. We used all ten of them. They made it so easy for family guests and they are so nice that everyone wanted to stay longer! Anna Kate, our coordinator, was so helpful and with us every step of the way. So many of our guests have called to tell me BEST WEDDING EVER!.

The venue is beautiful. It has the best sunset views and the flow of the wedding day is very natural! As a planner, I love bringing my clients here. However, what truly transformed the experience was working with Anna Kate, Chris, and the entire team that night. They were flexible, organized, and clearly reviewed the timeline before the event. Anna Kate went above and beyond for my clients and I m so impressed.

***One-Star Yelp Review for Arrowhead Hill in Montgomery, Texas** I wish I could give this place zero stars! Arrowhead Hill used to be an absolute gem under the previous owner, but since its been sold to a faceless corporation, it has turned into a nightmare. We had booked this venue for our wedding, with 50 out-of-town guests staying in the on-site cottages. Our experience was beyond disappointing. When we arrived on Friday, there was no venue staff to assist us in getting settled. To add to the chaos, there was no toilet paper in the facilities, we couldnt figure out how to turn on the outside lights, and the air conditioner was malfunctioning in several rooms. Attempts to contact the venue went unanswered. Our wedding day arrived, and still, we had received zero communication from the venue staff. Our wedding coordinator from My Event Angels, who deserves all the praise, had to handle everything on her own. We were in a state of panic as our wedding was scheduled to start at 5 pm, and we had no idea how to fix the air conditioner, and still, NO STAFF was in sight! The venue staff finally showed up at 3 pm, just two hours before the ceremony, leaving us high and dry. We did manage to salvage some joy from our day, thanks to our 140 out-of-town guests who joined us, but Arrowhead Hills staff managed to ruin the experience. At 11:28 pm, they confronted my daughter about the bridal suite being a mess and threatened to charge us for cleaning. How on earth were we supposed to clean it amidst a morning of preparations, a ceremony, a reception, and saying goodbye to our guests? To top it off, the bar was abruptly shut down at 10:30 pm without any notice of last call. I had to demand they reopen it and make an announcement, which was met with a less than pleasant response from their staff. Furthermore, I must emphasize that I had a heated argument with the manager of the staff about how they mishandled our event. Its disheartening to have to argue on the day of your wedding when you should be celebrating and enjoying every moment. The unprofessionalism and incompetence displayed by the venue staff were absolutely infuriating. Arrowhead Hill under new ownership is a far cry from the excellent experience it once offered. But the worst part came at the end of the night. As we returned to the cottages, we heard that the police had been called, and the venue manager was trying to charge ME, the mother of the bride, with assault. I have never had any run-ins with the law and had not touched anyone. Thankfully, security footage confirmed my innocence, but it was outrageous that they would attempt such false accusations. The police told her several times she did not assault you. How does this corporation allow someone who lies about something so serious that can ruin someones life be part of their company? What kind of person lies about something like this? The venue staff also tried to exaggerate damages, claiming we were intentionally breaking wine glasses, which was completely untrue. I have video footage showing that a glass fell accidentally during dancing. The only bright spot in this ordeal was Lisa from My Event Angels, who stood by my side throughout the chaos. I couldnt be more grateful for her support. Arrowhead Hill has turned into an absolute disaster under new ownership, and I would never recommend it to anyone. If the previous owners were still in charge, Id say go for it, but this new management has ruined what should have been a beautiful event. A truly sad way to end an otherwise amazing occasion!

Arrowhead Hill is gorgeous place for a couple looking for the perfect place to have there wedding. The venue is chalked full of amazing features but a couple of my favorites are the tented area which is perfect for cocktail hours and the cottages are perfect for the ultimate wedding weekend with the fam.

We booked Arrowhead Hill for our wedding in April and we are so beyond glad we did! This venue is absolutely gorgeous! The owners, Donna and John, make you feel like family and truly do everything in their power to make your day as special as possible. They thought of every single aspect a venue needs for an amazing wedding day. The venue itself speaks for itself. The chapel, reception and the gorgeous tent for cocktail hour is truly so dreamy. Looking out onto their land you feel like you re in the Texas Hill Country. One very unique thing that Arrowhead Hill has is the onsite cottages. My wedding party and family go to stay in the ten cottages that are walking distance from the venue to night of our wedding. After our wedding, Mr. John set up a fire for all our wedding party to enjoy. We are so thankful we had the opportunity to have our special day at Arrowhead Hill! Wouldn t do it any other way!

Every detail here is intentional and well thought out. The owners truly put so much love and labor into this venue and it shows. There are not enough positive things that I could say about Arrowhead Hill. This venue is stunning and provides the best overall wedding weekend experience of any venue in the Houston area. My husband and I were in a unique position where basically all of our wedding guests would be travelling from out of state--including our wedding party. So we knew that weekend accommodations were very important to us. Arrowhead Hill has the perfect answer for that--the cottages! The cottages are fabulous and the perfect accommodation for wedding party/family to ensure the best wedding weekend. The venue has so much to offer. Between the chapel, the gathering, and the tent-covered lawn area, there is so much flexibility in the planning process to make your event your own. We used the chapel for the ceremony, the tent-covered lawn for cocktail hour, and the gathering for our reception, and it was just perfect. And despite having a late August wedding date, the cocktail hour was not too hot for our guests thanks to the tent and the surprisingly refreshing breeze in the evenings. For my husband and I and our families, we got more compliments on the venue than anything else. I cannot tell you how many people approached us saying that this was the most impressive wedding venue they have ever seen. It truly is a stunner, and pictures dont even do it justice. Finally, and probably most importantly, the owners/family that run the show at AHH are the best people and the kind of people you hope youre lucky enough to go through the wedding planning process with. Donna and her family are so genuine, and they truly want all of their couples to have the best experience. Wedding planning certainly can be stressful, but there is no reason that you shouldnt enjoy the wedding planning process, and working with people like Donna made it so enjoyable for myself and my family. We cannot recommend this venue enough. Truly our fairytale day.

This venue is absolutely gorgeous! We booked them for our wedding and we were so happy from the very beginning. Donna and John treated us like family right off the bat and took care of everything we could have possibly needed and more. They have everything you need or could want: the chapel is gorgeous and we loved being able to ring the bell, the barn is beautiful and they have games for the outdoor space, the cottages are perfect for the wedding party to stay in and there is a fire pit for after reception hangouts! Really, everything was stunning and you could tell they went the extra mile in every aspect. We are so happy we were able to get married here with everything going on and they were very accommodating and easy to work with.

This venue is stunning. It was the first venue we visited and immediately fell in love with the property and the owners, even though it was still in the construction phase and not even completed. We ended up checking out about six more venues just to make sure but knew from the first visit that arrowhead was the one! A lot of thought was poured into every detail and everyone (guest/vendors) were equally impressed! We stayed in the cabins for the weekend and it was just so nice to have everything on one property and get a destination vibe while still being local. Everything was immaculate, and Donna (one of the owners) was even wiping down the siding on the reception hall the morning of our wedding. You can definitely tell how much this family has invested and the love they have for this place.

UPDATE 1.30.21: I dont even know where to begin. This venue is so beautiful and the entire team is just amazing. From the very beginning when the property was still under construction, the Whittleman family were so welcoming and accommodating. From the initial tour, I could just picture their vision for everything. We loved seeing the progress during construction and were just amazed at the finish product. As we got closer to our wedding, the AH team was so easy to work with and responsive to all of my questions [and I had a lot since I am just a type-A person]. They made us feel at such ease, even during the uncertain times. The venue was just so perfect and the best backdrop for our entire wedding. Every design detail is very thoughtful and it was effortless to bring our wedding design to life. We were so happy with our selection of venue and would do it all over again at Arrowhead Hill. PAST REVIEW: Such a lovely and beautiful venue designed by a family that has truly put their heart and soul into every bit of the property. Cant wait to marry my best friend here and celebrate with all of our family and friends.

Whoooo~ I dont even know where to begin. My husband (woohoo!) & I came to visit Arrowhead Hill during the very beginning stages of the venue being built. Donna, Courtney, & Jessie drove us around in a golf cart explaining the vision that they had for each part of the venue from the chapel, gathering area, and cabins with so much passion, and love it was so easy for us to see their vision clearly and we had such a blast looking at their beautiful property and the floor plans. When Arrowhead was completely finished being built, we came out to take a look, & IT WAS BREATHTAKING!! The whole venue is so well thought out and visually pleasing. If youre a person that loves the fine details and are a fan of anthropologie, westelm, and CB2 then this is the place for you!!! The venue has the right amount of elegance that is comfortable to be in. The family in itself is a big reason why you should book this venue. They will treat you like family. I cannot thank Donna and her beautiful family enough for walking us through this whole process, especially with the whole pandemic. They will bring you comfort and all the reassurance you need. They will work with you and make sure your day is perfect. Our wedding was so dreamy to the point I could not believe that was our wedding. It was truly a special day and beautiful beyond words. There was no point in the day where I was stressed at all because Donna and her family made sure of it. If youre looking for a photographer I highly recommend Courtney Leigh Photography!!!! Not only does she know the venue like the back of her hand, which would only play in your favor cause she knows her lighting, shes also super duper talented. You have to check out her instagram page, youll see what Im talking about. Courtney is also one of the sweetest people Ive ever met, shell make you feel comfortable if youre not use to being in front of the camera. Also Jessies bar package/ service!! You gotta do it! We got the premium beer and wine package along with margaritas and it was one of the best decisions ever! First off, the wine and margarita was served in beautiful glassware along with beautiful garnishing. & the service was spot on!!! Jessie and her team will work with you and be honest on what youll need for your guests & to make sure your day is well hydrated :). My family and friends keep raving about the beautiful venue and cabins! It was so easy transitioning from the ceremony to the reception, and then to the cabins. If youre debating on the cabins, DO IT. I loved waking up to the beautiful view along with my family and friends the following morning debriefing about the wedding day and not being stressed about driving anywhere. Arrowhead Hill is a whole family affair, which I think makes it super special. They have everything you need to make your day just as special at a very high quality. I dont even know where to begin... words will not do this venue or family justice. My fiancé and I were pretty set on a venue (we wanted to look at others just so we knew for sure it was exactly what we wanted) but when we toured Arrowhead Hill and met the AMAZING family it was a no brainer.. We fell in love. The venue is breathtaking and having the adorable cottages on site makes the planning part so much easier! Committing to a venue that isnt quite finished could be pretty scary but let me tell you... I couldnt be any more confident or comfortable with this process because of Donna and her family. We feel like weve known them for years! We already love and adore them so much. As if the venue isnt already gorgeous enough, when you hear their vision and their details itll blow your mind! Theyve literally thought of EVERYTHING! We cannot wait to have our wedding here!! I cant recommend Arrowhead Hill enough- it deserves 10 stars. If you are on the fence about going to tour it, DO IT! Me and my fiancé came here and it was a pretty long drive but it was totally worth it. We met up with Donna, who is absolutely fantastic! We got to meet her grandkids, her daughters, and her husband and it was so heartwarming. It was one of the best experiences that we had had at a venue and we have been to a lot of them. We decided to go with Arrowhead Hill because it had that feeling of togetherness and seeing how close their family is just made us feel really good about our decision. It s one of the only places that we found that had cabins that people could stay in on the property. It works out great since were having a lot of people coming in from out of town. We re really excited to get married here and seeing the updates go up on there Instagram are fantastic!

WOW! That s the best description for this venue!! We were pretty set on a specific venue before we found this one & fell in love once we saw it!
