Food was not good, seemed frozen and not fresh. We ended up not eating which sucked because we spent over $80. Server was excellent, he was very nice and attentive. I would encourage better dishwashing, found lipstick stains all over the rim of my cup and pushed it aside, the other cups seemed to have stains on them they didn t seem clean. We will be eating at restaurants outside the resorts from now on.

We ve had bad service here before but thought hey let s try it one more time before we write this place off . Do yourself a favor DON T GO! The service is the absolute worst! The bartender who barely acknowledged us in the beginning greeted us slowly while sucking the straw of his drink with no personality whatsoever and no smile. Aren t bartenders supposed to have charisma? A welcoming personality? Not this guy. We wanted a bottle of LaMarca which they were out of (even though only 2 bottles of Prosecco are offered. LaMarca and another bottle that costs $150). Decided to order the perfect margarita instead. The drink was pretty good, but the over priced $15 drink was served in a plastic solo-type cup that was only filled 2/3 the way. The breakfast food we ordered was subpar. Meanwhile the bartender was vaping behind the bar barely acknowledging our existence because he was too busy sitting at the other end of the bar checking his phone. Margaritaville needs to figure out and fix the service of this place asap. We paid over $60 for bland food and terrible service. What a rip off!

First I want to say the actual inside was nice and the steak was amazing but the outside was horrible. Spiders and spiderwebs everywhere. For them to have outside dining the patio should be cleaned better and maintained. There were 5-7 spiders with webs on each table set. The pillars were covered in dirt and old huge webs. They have not cleaned this in a while. The fries that came with my steak frites meal were bland and really took away from the whole meal. But that s mainly it do better with the outside especially for the amount of money it costs to stay here on the resort and along with the costs of half the offers on the menu.

Atmosphere was good, it was a nice place to sit and eat. But, for $65 the steak didnt feel worth the cost. It didnt seem *that* busy, but the server seemed very distracted so I could be wrong. Her responses were clipped, if not rude for certain things, and she seemed very forgetful. For supposedly being high class eating, it was very weird to be served everything, including wine, in small plastic cups that I would use for my afternoon outing by my pool. In addition, when someone asked if they could be brought a wine glass, since someone else in our party had a wine glass and they had a small plastic cup. We were told that they would check. 20 minute wait later, after reminding the server we asked, we were told that they didnt have any available. Why would an expensive restaurant not have enough glasses to cover a non-full restaurant? Finally, when asked if we wanted desert, two of us ordered some cake, and one key lime pie. Pie and one slice of cake came out within minutes, and the second cake was half an hour. We were ready to leave well before then, and when we had finally had enough and was going to ask them to strike it from the bill, they finally brought it out, which we then asked for a to-go box. Overall, do not recommend. Go to the Landshark bar and grill literally a 45 second walk away, much better.

Had lunch and a drink here while we waited for our room to be ready. The food was ok, a bit on the pricey side for just being ok, but is expected. Atmosphere was nice as well, it wasnt busy and it seemed clean. Service was on a whole different level though. I would like to start off by saying that the hostess was very sweet. She was a foreign older lady, but sweet as can be. We sat in a booth by the bar area and I waiter was fine. Nice, but rarely did we see him. The bartender? Atrocious. Drinks were very slow, but whatever, not the biggest deal since we werent in a rush. From what I gathered, it was this persons first day as a bartender, but she has been a server there. The attitude she gave the hostess was outrageous. She was verbally rude and she snapped her fingers at her. What is worse is that she was rude to the hostess in front of customers, so everyone saw how horrible of a person she was. Maybe she had a bad day. Not the best first impression though.

Stayed for a conference and enjoyed the menu at License to Chill for three different meals. Each meal was not only amazing but our server Jessyca was OUTSTANDING!!! Totally recommend!!!

The atmosphere was great, but that was about the only thing we enjoyed. The waitress made an effort, but simply put, the food was absolutely terrible. I was shocked that such an establishment could have such low quality, tasteless food. I personally had shrimp scampi. It tasted like it came from the freezer. The pasta was soggy/watery and the dish in general was utterly tasteless, aside from the oil in the sauce white wine sauce. I specifically asked if it was creamy or oily before ordering, and the waiter said creamy it certainly was not. I tried adding salt, pepper, and cheese, but it did no good. I gave up, so the meal was essentially a waste. My husband got the jerk salmon and it came out burnt. My mother got the chicken and it came out on a bed of white rice with absolutely no sauce or au jus. The chicken was pretty bland too. When we asked for some sort of sauce, they brought hot sauce . Finally, my son had chicken tenders and the chicken meat was so thin, overly breaded, and over fried so essentially inedible, as it was too crunchy/hard for him to chew (he is about to be 2). We had a fantastic day at Margaritaville, but this was an unexpectedly poor end to our day and really dampened the experience. On the brighter side, the appetizers were pretty good the egg rolls and wagyu meatballs. We actually enjoyed them more than the meal.

We pay monthly to be a member. Decided to give this place another shot after some very disappointing visits , mainly due to the food. They have a new chef , menu. Ordered the burger which was great. Now, for the bad part, took over 20 min to get a drink. my husband met me 30 min later, 3 bartenders, no one asked him if he needed anything. He ordered a beer . We told Kyle that we wanted to close out, and that he never got his beer, no response from Kyle. Our empty plate and empty drinks stayed in front of us, never were cleared, never refilled. We asked to closeout , our ticket and beer were brought to us. The right thing would have been not to charge us for the beer. We were leaving and had finished with our food. One bartender was new. Atleast she can make sure that people have water or need refills . This should be part of her training and something the other 2 tenured bartenders can let her know to be on the lookout for instead of just watching . Just reallly disappointed in what could have been a great evening.

Had the breakfast buffet at $20 a person, dont get it unless you want to pay for complimentary hotel like food. The only good thing was the fruit, oatmeal and pastries. The eggs were watery and gross. Very overpriced.

I live here. Have been to landshark and license to chill a couple of times each. License to Chill is better. Drinks are better, food is better, service is better. It must be Lake Conroe Margaritaville s A team or something. The seafood roll is great on a hot 95 degree Tuesday evening.

Slow service in an empty bar/restaurant. Yes; please, keep chatting with your coworkers, I can wait. I understand that franchise means prepared frozen meals, but OMG this is up there with the worst. Huge language barrier communicating with some staff. Keep your expectations low and you may make it through.

Dinner was ok just overpriced. DONT go for breakfast. They can t cook a sunny side up egg, French toast was cold, how do you mess up French toast!!!? $15 omelette is a 2 egg omelette with 4 tinny pieces of ham. For such an expensive resort why can t they hire a decent cook or menu or something!

I will give my dinner experience here a 3.5 stars. Big credit to the lady manager who made my dinning experience worth it! She was very personable and had a good customer service. The Margaritas were not all that (expected more because it is called Margaritaville)!! Also..the rooms dont have individual microwaves and this is the closest place you can go to warm up any left overs. The food was not good and not bad, just average in my opinion.

Poor service, poor food quality. First checked in with the hostess. Then we sat outside and waited for a waitress to come for at least 10 min. As no one came we decided to go order at the bar. 10 min after we ordered at the bar, a waitress came to see us outside. I asked for some water and advised her that we already ordered at the bar. She left and never came back with our waters.

Instead of leaving the resort, we came for lunch. Don t expect anything fancy, just a good casual drinking and eating spot for the family. We enjoyed our drinks, fish sandwich, PO Boy, and fries. Typical resort prices, but your paying for convenience. Overall, we enjoyed the view of the lake, food, atmosphere, and friendly staff. We would eat here again.

We arrived and ordered breakfast. Hardly anyone in the cafe, and breakfast was served 45 min later. Service attention was great until the food arrived. Our chilaquiles was served soggy and cold. Cheese was supposed to be warm me melted. Was cold and dried out. We asked a server in passing to please take the plate and his reply to our above reasoning; and he replied it s supposed to be soggy and cold. It s not advertised that way, and we have chilaquiles all of the time, and it s always served hot. One, don t be cocky to your customers. This kid needs more training with customer service. Not once were we rude. If someone simply states it was too soggy for their liking, along with their apologies for you to take it back, just apologize and take the plate. Don t insult our intelligence to tell us otherwise.

We had Jake as a server and it was terrible he cared more with talking to other servers than taking care of his table we ordered and he had somebody else bring out our drinks, we waited 20 minutes for a refill of coffee before we went in search of jake. The coffee sucked it was burned and tar like. Food came out eggs cooked wrong couldn t eat them asked for over well done they came out with running egg whites. By the time we got more eggs another almost 20 minutes the rest of my food was cold. Asked for a manager and he didn t bring her. Had to ask again. Again jake didn t bring out our food somebody else did. He didn t come out to check on us until he brought the check. Ridiculous when you are spending the amount of money not getting g not only the quality of food but the service.

Cold coffee, steak tasted old and not cooked like it was ordered. Manager just asked if my cousin wanted something else. No apology, no discount. The pancakes were hard and they had no syrup so we had to eat them with honey. Bacon also half cooked. We were waiting for our food for about an hour.
