Went in for the first time Friday night early- 6pm. Our waitress was wonderful. However, they had live music set up that was so ridiculously loud, we had to scream to hear each other. We asked our waitress if they could turn it down some. The music was set up against the wall but right amongst the diners. At 6pm. The management asked him to turn down and the musician did slightly. It was still too loud to really carry on a good conversation. The place emptied out pretty quickly except the bar. My advice would be to wait to start the music until 8pm and put the musician upstairs. The floors are concrete and the ceilings are high. Sounds bounces everywhere. I sound like an old person but I m in my thirties. The friends we were with had been in there before and said they had moved to the patio due to the musician(different one). Food was just ok. Our waitress was great!

The place had an excellent vibe. The service was great. We stopped for appetizers and drinks and found them disappointing. They were out of the big pretzel. They were out of the wine I ordered. The onion rings and chicken bites were very over cooked. The fried green tomatoes were soft and mushy. The dipping sauces were good except for the horseradish in the sauce on the mushy fried tomatoes. Service was excellent, he just had to apologize for inventory problems.

Wed been wanting to try Wisters since it opened. Finally made it! And though there was a table in the shade we were seated in the sun. We requested another table in the shade and were finally moved. Then our waiter ignored us. We had to wait over 30 minutes to have him take our order! Wed have left, but we had such high hopes for great food. I had a cheeseburger. It liked beautiful. It tasted about as bland as a piece of... well... it was bland. Burger King serves a tastier burger. My husband had a salad. It was okay. I can say that the fries were good. We wont be back.

This is a hand tossed in Buffalo sauce, fresh jalapeños, bacon, avocado, Swiss, and rest of fixing...basically its PJS sandwich, or thats what Im gonna call it until it goes on the menu lol, but they will make whatever you want. New photo of chicken sandwich and all the fixins! New photo catfish platter, TGIF!!! Coleslaw is on point, oh my God I want more, not your typical slaw, this slaw is fresh and lime-ie, this is a true texas slaw. The fish cooked to perfection, basically was a really good meal. My mouth was happy and taste buds where dancing, so thanks again for a good lunch!

update: Nice try on the response owner. The place was not packed when we visited, there was room at the bar and plenty of seating inside, there was no party before us, and one couple came in after us. I believe you have your days mixed up. As for table issue not being properly communicated, I agree, it does not fall on the lack of training of the host or those working, but on the leadership...hint....hint. Good day! First time a bad experience, thought I would give them a second chance, same thing. I hate this place! I asked to sit outside for a party of 6 and was told there was no room. I saw two tables and said just give us two 4 seaters. When inquired about a closer table that we could pulled together, was told that was a different section. Long story short, moved inside only to watch them pull two tables together for another party. Not sure where they get their customer service folks, but the service here sucks!....can you tell Im upset.

I can t tell you how hard it is to find a GOOD well maybe a GREAT burger out here. I got the BBQ burger and opted for sauce on the side. This burger is FANTASTIC. The blend of different cuts of meat along with Andouille is amazing. It s super moist has great flavor and comes on a perfectly toasted brioche bun with onion rings. I got lucky and ordered the truffle fries with the truffle aioli and they are by far the best truffle fries I ve had. This may just seem like a hole in the wall. But it s much more. They offer daily specials as well. So glad a friend recommended this spot!

Nice neighborhood vibe. The bar was well stocked and the food was very good. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and the broccolini medley and asked if they would hold the bread and sandwichy things (lettuce, tomatoes, mayo). What I got was a perfectly cooked and slice chicken breast with steamed garlicky cauliflower, broccolini and carrots. Exactly what I was wanting! They accommodated beautifully. Will definitely be back again and again. I was also on a first date so was too busy to take pics...but I will return for that second date and snap away!! Great place for casual dining.

The serving staff are courteous and friendly. However, one of the owners is unprofessional and confrontational. If there were other bars open, I would give them my business instead. One evening I observed someone that was extremely inebriated walk into the bar after almost crashing his car outside. The gentleman stumbled to open the door, so I asked if he was okay. The male responded rather aggressively, stating that he was fine. I tried to let one of the owners know that the guy was intoxicated on a dangerous level. The owner dismissed me, and served him more alcohol. As human beings we should look out for one another, and try to prevent bad things from happening. Disappointing and saddening that they would rather make a profit than care about the well-being of their customers.

Great food, wine, and service! Brought some out-of-town cousins to try your truffle fries. They are truffle fry officianados and loved what they had at Wisters. Great flavor, good selection, nice service. Burgers are great, remind me of the way my grandmother made them. Nice bar but there is no reasonable explanation for how bright it is in this place. It ll be Friday night and they ll have a DJ and you could read a pocket sized Bible without difficulty. It makes you feel like they re closed. I ve worked in bars with cleaning lights that you turn on after you close for when you re mopping that were less bright. This is also paired with the fact that for some reason they put the chairs up and clean WELL BEFORE they re closed so, they might be open for hours with the chairs up and the place lit up like a Christmas tree and it makes absolutely no sense at all. The 2 minutes you save putting up the chairs early is definitely not worth making the entire town think you re closed/closing. I was in there the other day and the chairs were up and the kitchen was still open???? Edit: So, instead of taking this 3 star review as constructive criticism and perhaps making improvements in which case I would have modified the review the owner approached me the next time I came in to have a drink with my wife and asked me about this review in a weird way. Super weird and unprofessional.

It was ok. Got the pre party burger I believe, it looked and smelled tasty, but its like I didnt taste the flavor I smelled. The brisket or pulled pork or whatever on top though was very flavorful and good. Garlic parmesan fries tasted like Whataburger fries with parmesan on them, and as a side, they were kinda small. Place looks cool though, saw some people with margaritas, will probably come back for that and to sit on the patio, and may pair it with their wings which I have heard good things about. The margaritas looked damn good.

Big Texas charm and hospitality is what you ll find. The menu is filled with all sorts of tasty comfort dishes with reasonable prices. The private second floor balcony area easily accommodated our party of twenty five! The staff were super nice and even went the extra mile creating separate checks for each of the five families (we were staying at Margaritaville for a vacation). These are no mere fries....I have been humbled and endeared to Wisters truffle fries on our very first visit. They are amazing....and the aioli dipping sauce was the perfect accompaniment. She was very friendly and had great customer service. She was very attentive. The food. Crawfish was priced ok considering everything going on in this country. Decent size crawfish. But there was little to no flavor. I say kick up the seasoning! We had to ask for more seasoning and I also asked for butter which I received some regular butter. You should definitely be able to provide drawn butter for crawfish season! I also tried the pulled pork sliders which was just plain pulled pork. Flavor lacked. Pulled pork should have some kind of bbq sauce on it. We will return one day. Had a nice time.

So excited to have Wisters in the neighborhood. I love the food and drink selection. They have hit the ball out of the park and I can t wait to see what the future holds for them. The owners are awesome and very hands on. Every time I have been there they have made sure all the customers are taken care of are constantly going from table to table. Love having them local and I m excited to see more from them!

This place is AMAZING!!!!! Just opened but you wouldnt know it! Service was on point! Had an amazing Wisterita with a slight kick and black salt rim - delicious! Bartenders are extremely knowledgeable and make crafted cocktails, which is refreshing! We had the truffle fries (seriously so good), the pork belly sliders, the mac n cheese (and you can add toppings), and also the crazy big pretzel! Everything was absolutely delicious! We also loved the large garage style door open to let outside in with the great weather! Owners were so nice and went table to table - they are definitely working hard! Cant wait to go back and try more!!!

They may have just opened, but you wouldn t know based on our experience today. Service was a great - Summer (purple hair) is very personable and my daughter loved her. Food was seriously good and plated well (pics next time!) We had a large pretzel with killer Gouda cheese sauce, very flavorful pulled pork flat bread (caution! the bbq sauce has a real kick), incredibly tender brisket French dip (might have been the best dip I ve ever had), and the kiddo had a super melty 3 cheese grilled cheese. Had a good chat with the owners and the head cook - really great folks! They are already hitting on all cylinders, so do yourself a favor and go visit!

Awesome food and atmosphere! Outdoor covered seating /patio is a huge plus Everything we have tried from here has been delicious so far . My fav are the Truffle fries, brisket nachos and the pork belly! staff and owners are super sweet and hard working as they have been packed! Can t wait to try their entrées!!

Friday Happy Hour. It is a beautiful day and the chance to sit outside. It would be a little loud and busy for kids if it was not nice out. Staff is nice, still a little early on the learning curve as expected with food and some table confusion. The drink menu we had Sexual Chocolate a fancy take on a Manhattan with a less the perfect bourbon. I would order again but switch to a better bourbon. Next pork belly appetizer - good but a little light on the chimichurri sauce, but the slaw was out of this world. Great job. Wings were next, over all we will not skip wing night at another place. At $12 for 6 not going switch for a meal. The wing size is smaller than other places. The dry Jamaican Jerk was very good. The garlic Parmesan had a thick sauce i did not like, but the wife liked it. Would prefer blue cheese versus the special house made sauce on the side. We have seen other food walk by and it does look good. I would suggest not for kids and focus on adults only and worth a try. Convenient for living in the neighborhood. The in restaurant drink menu appears to be missing what is available on line so check out the online menu. Also know that it is closed on Monday and Tuesday.

So excited for this opening! Owners out and about providing table service and whatever was needed on opening day. Loved seeing the commitment to customers. That Big as your face pretzel and Gouda cheese sauce was delicious! 10/10 Recommend!!

To all of my followers I got lucky enough to try out Wister s on opening day! I did the Brisket Nachos to start and that hit the spot. From there I ordered the dry rub Louisiana ranch & Caribbean Jerk wings. The wings were crispy and tasty just how I like them. I also added the garlic parmesan fries. My whole table made me share my crispy garlic parmesan fries :). I am excited to try the rest of the menu and my tummy is full of joy. Great job Wister s!
