Beginning my trip, I walked into a completely empty dining area, a potentially daunting sign; however, this proved to be the opposite of my experience. Despite taking a couple of minutes to get the attention of the waitress/hostess, she was able to take my order quickly and arrive with our drinks. The only complaint I have would be about the cleanliness of the table, it was not wiped down and I noticed other tables that also had left over crumbs and bits of rice. Again, despite this fact, the food was brought out at a normal time given all of the to-go orders the restaurant received during our time there (probably 3-5 orders). The food was delicious, and the price was significantly less than expected for the quality. This place has been in Mo City longer than I can remember...its absolutely amazing...one of the best Thai places ive ever been too! The lady that works there always has a smile on her face even though I know she doesnt understand me I always love seeing her there ! The food is always great Ive been coming here for years and its always a 10/10 I recommend the shrimp fried rice and the pad Thai shrimp ....Im probably saying that wrong but its really good

The best Thai Food in all of Houston!! The Eggrolls are Amazing will not find them anywhere else bur here and their appetizer along with the main dishes tastes and feels like homemade, the spices are wonderfully balanced, portions are big always take a to go box, and my favorite part, you can tell them how spicy you want it! I usually pick 4 star spicy the one with the tear face.

I grew up in this area and since I was a little girl this has been my go to Thai place. I ve traveled from San Francisco to New York but nowhere and nothing has ever beaten this place. In terms of price, spice, serving size and authentic flavors. The original owners from the 70s still run, work and cook at the place and its shows. If you re looking for a high end, fusion or first generation Thai place go downtown. If you want a place you can see a Thai grandma crack open a fresh can of thai labeled condensed milk to make your fresh to order Thai tea, come here. But will say it is best to call in for take out an order if you re not okay with plastic cover table and questionable cleaning (for foodies who know the golden rules of eating internationally foods you ll be fine). Make sure to leave a good tip, this is an actual mom and pop restaurant that still run by a real mom and pop and be respectful they are community elders here. My favorites have been the pad thai (ask for extra lime), garlic or spicy whole fish (it s a whole fish which can feed a family of 4), and eggplant with garlic sauce. Soups are good. Atmosphere stuffy and stinks. Best to order to go. Good customer service. Not a date spot or fun spot. No umbiance. Big plants block entry way. Spring rolls bland the other ones they had used to be good. They went up 1.00 on new spring rolls that taste not as good as what was cheaper.

I came here because it was recommended by a friend . This place did not seem as tidy, but I gave it a shot since it showed good reviews. Well it happened to me. Once the food came out, I saw little creatures crawling in my food. Thank God I saw them before I took a bite. Be ware, if others say the food is great it might be but it s definitely not sanitary. Someone swore to me that this is the best Thai food in the Houston area. I believe them since they ex-spouse was Thai wrong! The food was ok but the restaurant was so dingy I liked that they grow herbs, fruits and stuff right outside the restaurant and I think they use them to cook. The waitress was very sweet and attentive but it was only 3 people in the restaurant this was at 7:30p on a Saturday night). Maybe this should have been a clue lol. The other guest maybe owned the place. I believe I would have enjoyed the food more if I had ordered Uber eats and never seen the inside of the restaurant. Vegetarian options: Loads of options

Ok let me start with the positives of Fu Lu Su. The prices are unbeatable for what you re getting and the food tastes amazing. I have been to this restaurant twice but sadly won t be coming back. I can get over bad service because this is an older woman who does it all, and I know cooking isn t easy. But what I can t do is roaches when I m trying to enjoy a meal. I don t know how I didn t notice this in the first visit, but this time I came across at least 7. Even to the point of some falling from the roof onto me. If you can get over that factor then this may be your place, if you re looking for good authentic Thai food. If not, then I probably wouldn t recommend this place sadly.

The food here is pretty good, but there is a strong chance you will encounter a roach in the dining room or bathroom, I did. Dont let that deter you from takeout, though. The plastic wrapped furniture gave me that nostalgic feel from grandmas house and the karaoke station was just waiting for someone to take it for a spin.

I love ordering food here. I always order 6-8 meals to go and it is about $65-80. The price is reasonably cheaper than any other Thai restaurant too. There are only two people working at the restaurant and theyre in their 60s. When they pick up the phone, it sounds like yelling but I definitely understood that the lady has some problem with her ear. I love their food and I would love to support their business !!

It really pays to read reviews. Ive been wanting really flavorful and authentic thai food since I moved to Missouri City. I drive pass often and one day I told myseld Im going to give this mom & pop place a try. Im plant based and its not that many plant based options in Missouri City. Just know you all have a loyal customer from here on. From the thai teas, to the spring rolls, to the veggie fried rice, To the curry...everything tasted immaculate. I love how they have an assorment of vegetables in the friend rice (bok choy, carrots, yellow and green zucchini squash, brocolli, snow peas). Most places only give carrots, peas, and onions. The food was so good, I told my father in law about it and hes headed there as I type this review lol.

This hole in the wall Thai place looks scary when you pull up but i assure you the food is exceptional! Even when you walk in it feels like you walked into your grandmas dinning room from 40 years ago... table clothes older then you with clear plactic covering/preserving them for god knows what reason and tennis balls on the legs of all chairs as if they sell walkers on the side. Get pass all that scariness and you will enjoy authentic delicious food. (The food is the only reason for 5 stars) Everthing else is a 1 star at best.

Cute mom & pop Thai restaurant in Stafford neighborhood. We arrived at 8:30, there were 2 tables seated and a few people in line to place order. The husband is the chef, wife does rest of the job! Good customer service, not many options for alkaline vegans. They changed their spring rolls and charge more for them. They dont taste as good as the old ones. I went into the restaurant earlier today and got the worst service. I was not greeted or anything. I ask can I eat in the restaurant and she replies in a rude manner barely saying anything you can sit here . While barely sitting there she comes out to take my order I told her egg rolls and then I told her I m not done with looking at the menu but I can start with egg rolls. Wow. Just wow. We used to go here as kids and thought it would fun to visit again. WRONG. Our party of three walked in at 7-05 to find one table dining. Waited at the door for a few minutes before the hostess (waitress? Owner?) came out of the kitchen and called out we dont have time. It will take you a long time to eat. We said that was fine. She literally rolled her eyes and stalked into the kitchen. What the... We sat ourselves and waited. The other table leaned over and told us that she was rude to them too, and they wanted to leave but one in their party really wanted to stay. After ten minutes another person came in and stood at the door. She finally came out of the kitchen with menus and threw them at us. She then looked at the other customer and told him that she didnt have time for him and he should leave. What the hell???? Its too dirty in there and shes too rude to wait for the pretty good food. Dont do it yall. I have been eyeing the restaurant for months wanting to try it and my husband finally agreed to go with me. We got the egg rolls, cheese rolls, shrimp pad thai and yellow curry. The egg roll was your typical frozen egg roll. The cheese rolls just had plain cream cheese in the middle. The yellow curry was watered down and my pad thai smelled like old seafood. I paid for the food because I felt bad but do your self a favor and save your money. Thai Jasmine about 20 minutes away is 100× better. Maybe its what we ordered but I dont plan on trying anything else there.

This is one of the best restaurants I ve been to. I went with my neighbors who is best friends with the lady who owns the place. The restraunt is a very peaceful and calm place with not too many people and the food was absolutely great. The food was delicious and I will come back for sure.

Horrible service. Waitress used her bare hands to put straw in drink. Rolled her eyes when I asked her to take it out. Seen roaches crawling on the counter. Returned food. Never eat here

I was attracted by the food picture on yelp and thought it was an authentic thai restaurant in a hidden spot. I was so wrong. The restaurant was dark inside and no customer when we all walked in. The food tasted old, Americanized and nasty. I just kept praying do not get food poisoning since we ate there... DO NOT COME

Great service. Very sweet humble people. The pad thai didnt taste like pad thai. It tasted almost like cheese noodles, Im not sure how thats possible. The panang curry was delicious, the spice level was #2 and it was . I saw a tiny little bug walking around the condiments and I sort of lost my appetite.

Nasty attitude and kitchen. I found a roach in my Coconut Thai Soup and she refused to refund my money or apologize. Her husband was in the back preparing food and coughing over the food while cooking. Additionally, our order totaled an excess of $55. She only gave me 1 pepper sauce for a order to feed 4 people. When I asked her for additional sauce for my order, she yelled and told me that I couldnt have additional sauces. When I told her that I would not be back, she yelled and said ok and threw 1 more sauce in my bag. If I had known that a roach would be in my soup, I would have avoided the whole experience all together. Combination Fried Rice had ONLY 2 SHRIMP in it...Never... going back. I really hate that Marvin Zindler is no longer with us. Id ask him to inspect this establishment.

Worst experience we have had in a long time. Waited for almost an hour and 20min just to get 4 teas and a soup. We order a lote more then that but god knows when we would have gotten that food. Plus the lady was rude and they need a real staff, not little kids taking out drink and food.

For a small mom & pop place, this place serves very good authentic Thai foods. We likes the seafood soup (ask for high spicy). It clears up your sinuses. Pad Thai and Yellow Curry aren t so bad, they are very good to our taste buds...
