Absolutely loved this new place in one of the best shopping areas of Missouri City. Very cute ambiance, friendly and helpful staff, delicious food. The highlight was the private room they have available for dining or meetings and they also have outdoor space. Its a sports bar but its also a very cute place for dinner and I saw families with kids there as well as our group that was having a happy hour type event. Good amount of parking also.

We recently hosted a Meet the Candidate event for Shad Bogany, who is running for Missouri City District C Council Member, at Playbook Sports Bar & Grill, and it was a fantastic experience! The atmosphere is the selling point. TV s galore. Pretty spacious. Clean facilities. Didn t really have a designated wait person. I had the Pit Stop burger. It was tasty, and huge for me. The Onion Rings are Delicious. The Sodas are weak, I tried Root Beer, then Coke. Both were very weak! They prefer Cash, the receipt shows the Cash and Non Cash (Extra). They don t have automatic tips! I would definitely return! Parking: It s in a large parking lot with lots of other businesses.

Visited early on a Friday night for the first time. I wanted to love this place as it seems like a great hangout spot, but I can t say I m impressed. The service was kind of weird. It s hard to explain but the flow between the primary and secondary waitresses was not balanced so we would see lots of people back to back and then no one for a long period. The food sounded really good and I wanted to love it, but it was very average. Me and my guest both ordered burgers. I can appreciate that this is a new spot and they are probably working out some kinks with service, but the burgers, a bar staple, did not hit the spot.

2 burger meal came out to be over $100. They do NOT have a sign up that says if you are paying by debit card or credit card, they charge you extra. You do not give the customers the chance to decide whether they want to dine there and spend extra for only having a card. The wait staff don t even disclose that because it appears that they aren t supposed to??? That is very sneaky business and YOU SHOULD POST THAT AT THE FRONT. The environment was nice until you get your bill and see that this place withheld that info. I would have picked somewhere else to grab a quick burger. And why put sugar on the fries unless the cook thought it was salt??? Whataburger would have saved me $90

This was my first time trying this new sports bar in Mo City. From the time I walked in, to the moment I left, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable! The decor to me, is sports bar/lounge. They have multiple tvs and comfy couches. Its almost like watching a game from the comfort of your own home. I cant wait to go back to see what the atmosphere is like when our Texans play! I went around 12:30 but missed the brunch cutoff time by about 30 minutes. So, if you plan on going anytime soon, brunch ends at 12:00 instead of 2:00 like it says online. They are in the process of updating the website. I LOVE that there are no sticky menus to deal with and that your credit card doesnt have to travel far because they operate under newer technology using... -Contactless QR code scan menus -Portable/Mobile POS -Apple Pay They have a large selection to choose from so it took me a while to figure out what I wanted. Finally I decided on the beef tacos and an order of sweet potato fries. I could tell that the tacos were made with fresh ingredients and that the meat was seasoned well. This sports bar has put a spin on the traditional taco! Their Touchdown Tacos are served on paratha instead of tortillas. I learned today that paratha is a flatbread known to South Asia..and I think I like it...no, I love it! I can eat paratha all by itself! The service was quick and the servers were very attentive. I didnt have to wonder where my server had wandered off to because she was always within earshot. This is the first sports bar that Ive ever seen with a play ground. While parents are enjoying the game or just socializing, the kids can play outside in a gated off play area. Nice! If you live in Missouri City, show your server proof of your address so that you can get a 5% discount off your tab. I definitely want to go back on a game night so I can get that sports bar feel and to order the honey mustard wings that the couple next to me suggested! I hope this place does well. We need some place to hang out. Food was decent. Atmosphere was okay. Opening day of college football and half the screens were on the Astros. I love the Astros but come on, as a sports bar you need to recognize what people are coming out for. They really need to hang some tvs. Having them all on the wall makes it difficult to see. Especially when you aren t playing the main event on the big screen. The food was decent. It s pub grub but I can t fault them fort that. And for the love of god, get some menus. We aren t in the pandemic anymore. Service was great. They were busy and were still great.

Came here two days in a row! First day - just tried drinks and the manager treated us with a dessert that was delicious! Second day, I went with a big party and we were all greeted with great customer service by servers + manager. The wait time wasn t long at all and food was delicious. The restaurant environment suits almost any occasion you are there for! My favorite part is that it has an outdoor kids playground! Came to check out playbook with the wife and was not disappointed! I had the chorizo omelette and it was very good and had a nice kick to it! My wife had the CR7 and really enjoyed that. Missouri city has been needing a place like this for so long and glad to finally have a kid friendly sports bar that s so close to home to watch all the games and UFC fights! My boyfriend and I tried this place last night. We were excited to see a sports bar so close to our house and really wanted to like it. Unfortunately we left after one drink. The interior is nice although the bar it self is on the small side but to be playing house beat music during the game was a bit annoying. We could have over looked it and tried the food had we not witnessed someone in the kitchen smoking hooka. When we asked the bartender about it we were told it was the owner. Who also owns a few hooka establishments. To make it worse he was smoking and not wearing any type of hair netting while on the expo line. We were sufficiently disturbed and decided not to order any food. Now the place may be good but I wouldn t recommend eating there as long as smoking and bad food handling practices are allowed.

We had a great experience at Playbook Sports Bar! The atmosphere is fantastic and looks like a go-to spot for catching a game or a UFC match. I ordered the Drop It Like Its Hot burger, which was very good but a bit on the small side, and my wife got the CR7 Chicken Sandwich. Both were tasty. The only hiccup was that our food didn t come out at the same time, so I had to wait a bit before eating to avoid chowing down in front of my wife. Another recommendation would be to have the drink prices listed on the menu. Despite that, we would definitely come back again. Looking forward to our next visit! Do not be deterred by the higher prices of the food. $18 for a phillycheese steak. You are getting a considerably higher quality of food. This is not the frozen stuff and it is packed with meat. You are getting what you pay for. We will definitely be weekly regulars just for the food quality alone. Service was good but it was slow in the early afternoon so that remains to be seen when its busy, but had a definite genuine positive feeling from our server.

Beyond happy to have a new spot in town that stays open late. Perfect spot to catch a game have drinks and good food. All of the staff was great and Jesse the GM stopped by to chat and make sure we were happy with the service. This place def has a good vibe. The chicken sandwich and boneless wings were amazing (loved the sauce options). I requested a lemon drop martini (with tequila) and they made it perfect! The espresso martini is great as well. Awesome new spot in the neighborhood! Love that it s so family friendly. The fenced off playground with full visibility from inside (due to the large wall of windows) is awesome! Tons of TVs to watch your favorite team play! Also, I highly recommend the southwest enrolls! Delicious! My family and I will definitely be coming back!

Went for dinner. Was greeted by a friendly face and the owner, Johnathan, treated us like royalty! The food was delicious and well prepared. I had the burger with sweet potato fries. Too yummy! Cant wait to try the weekend brunch! Highly recommend. Oh, and some really cool playground equipment is available for the kiddos! Kid-friendliness: Cool playground equipment.

My boss took me out to lunch on Tuesday and we enjoyed the Playbook. My drop It like its Hot Burger was terrific and she really enjoyed the tacos. Came here for lunch and got the tacos. They made their own pickled habanero onions which added on the tacos was fantastic. The salsa that came with it was also a nice addition. Our waitress was on top of it and bringing out refills without asking, and food came out quickly. This is a great eatery in MoCity that compliments a big space for all to enjoy. They have a playground for the kids and ample outside seating. They also have a lot of TVs that are displaying any sport game that is on, and a private room that is perfect for a special dining experience. Highly recommend checking them out. I recently visited Playbook, the new sports bar in town, and had an incredible experience! The atmosphere was vibrant, with plenty of screens to catch all the games. The food was delicious, especially the wings and burgers. What really stood out, though, was the service. Cynthia, our waitress, was absolutely awesome! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she went above and beyond to make our visit memorable.
