I came here for a meeting and wanted to give the food a try. I read the reviews and looked at the pictures before ordering . One review talked about the amount of meat that was put on their sandwich. They also provided pictures. I thought surely that was a mistake. I got a chopped beef and sausage sandwich. My sandwich looked JUST LIKE the other review! There was barely any meat on the sandwich. You will be eating bread sandwich. The chopped beef taste like the chopped beef that you can get at Sam s. The fries were good. We I be back? no. Would I recommend? No

I have noticed that people in Texas are SUPER picky about their BBQ. Although this place doesn t have amazing BBQ, it s not the worst either. I appreciate them for being so close to Sienna. My go to is the Sliced Brisket Sandwich (Moist Cut). The brisket is pretty good (not the absolute best I ve ever had - but good). The bread is always soft and fresh. Most importantly, I m happy that the young Caucasian lady at the drive through window doesn t seem to work here anymore. She had a terrible attitude - very unpleasant.

Bought rib plate, two sides with piece of bread. Mediocre at best. Beans were ranch style beans from a can with sauce added. Jambalaya was colored rice with a little cayenne. Ribs tasted like they were baked in an oven with sauce. The food was decent but I wouldn t call it Texas Barbecue. More like, fast food barbecue at premium price. Their 1/2 chicken is reasonably priced as is sausage sandwich. The rest is average with above average cost.

Brisket was mid at best, too dry for me. Ribs had a good flavor, but I prefer my ribs to be fall-off-the-bone tender and these were a little denser, but I do know some prefer it that way. Sides were perfect, but I really came here for the meats, and they were not as good as I had hoped.

This restaurant is next door to my doctors office&I often stop&grab a sandwich after an appt. . I always get a chopped beef sandwich&I always really enjoy it!! Yesterday,I ate in my car so I could watch youtube videos while I had lunch. After I was through,I went inside to use their restroom&,as always,the atmosphere was great! Meh. This place consistently disappoints. Its always empty which is nice but the food is getting worse and the staff taking orders seem like theyre eating edibles before the shift. They miss things, forget to add things, forget to bring them to the table, and for what it costs now, its barely worth the trouble. I assume they do a pretty good takeout business because people just expect that things will be missing from their orders and it wont be warm and juicy by the time they get it home. If Im the one paying for it, Im going to pass.

Brisket was dry and over smoked. Same with the dark meat chicken. I had asked for half lean and half fatty on the brisket and only received lean. The sides are terrible. We tried cole slaw, beans, and Mac and cheese. The fellow at the service counter was inattentive and either didnt communicate my order properly or the kitchen didnt execute on the order. Brought this trash to a family members house, which is very embarrassing. First and last.

Disappointed. I really liked the idea that you could get a combo plate of brisket, sausage and pulled pork for $15. Unfortunately, the brisket and pulled pork were very dry, and none of the three had very much flavor. Service was also a bit underwhelming. I came at about 2 PM and there were only two other customers in the dining room, but at least four tables had not been cleaned. The server at the counter was efficient, but not particularly friendly and welcoming. There are much better barbecue options in the area.

Used to be our favorite bbq place. Weve taken many people there and the food and service were always. Went on 9/10/22, everything was changed. New menu. No sliced beef at all. The chopped beef tasted like the frozen kind you can buy in a tub at the grocery store. The pulled chicken was dry and my husband got sick later that night after eating it. No more soft serve ice cream either. The fried okra however was hot and freshly cooked. Thats why they got one star. We wont be back.

I tried to call in an order last night and she put me on for 3 mins then hung up. Before she put us on hold I let her know we wanted a chicken dinner. I called back and was immediately put on hold with no greeting but I heard the same girl tell a coworker to tell me that they were too busy to take an order over the phone. I told him ok we are 7 mins away. Once we arrived it was not busy at all. We went through the drive thru and the same girl that hung up on me earlier said they were out of chicken, turkey and more. Bad customer service because she could have told us that over the phone. The girl had a horrible attitude throughout the whole encounter. This happened at 8:35pm on 06/10/22.

Wow. First and last time here. Got two baked potatoes and for the price I expected much, much better. Everything was dry. it looked like the potato had been sliced open and left to sit under a heat lamp. They are really stingy with the meat. They actually weigh it out on a little scale and will manipulate the scale in their favor. Ordered a BBQ sandwich- they give you a big bun and only about enough meat to fill up a 5 year old. I asked them to fix it and they claimed they actually gave me more than a quarter pound and would not give me any more. Ive been eating BBQ sandwiches my whole life. I know what a quarter pound looks like. Ive actually eaten at Brookstreet locations since 1994- they have not always operated this way. The food used to be better and was actually a good value- NOT anymore. I wonder what happened. Something changed a few years ago. The restaurants never seem to be as busy these days but somehow they have stayed in business.

Missouri City location - the meat is always good. I would avoid the Sugarland location. Tried Brookstreet today and was disappointed from the moment I pulled thru the Drive thru. #1 They so not have a kids menu, so I had to either choose to let my 2 kids split a meal or buy 2 full priced meals. Ordered 2 sliced beef potatoes, pound of ribs and a sliced brisket sandwich combo. #2 sliced beef looked dark brown and strange, potatoes were cold and hard, cheese wasnt melted and was covered in some butter sauce Ribs very tender but had NO flavor. The best tasting item was the fries from the combo. Will not go back. Id much rather spend $57 somewhere else.

Food was good but plain; the sauce should not make the taste. Service was good.
