Would of liked to know that there was going to be construction at time of booking rather than the day I got there. Although the room was spacious and the bed comfortable the room was not cleaned properly as I found lipstick pencil shavings on the bathroom counter sink when I got there. I got maid service the next day hoping they would get it cleaned and when I got back it was still there. Also during our stay not one but 4 crickets got in our room scaring my son to bits. The pool was ok no longer chairs like in Pic and floor bottom was so rough my sons toes eventually bled from walking on it. Hope the renovation improves the place for the next ones visiting.

The carpet smelled horrible, one of the most horrible places I have ever been in my life. If it has things in its favor, they treated us very kindly and the breakfast was good, good flavor and vast. But the carpet is incredibly stinky, Im not allergic and I developed an incredible amount of mucus and congestion, it smelled like mold, tobacco and dust. Please remove the carpet!!!

I wasted $185 for a room. Poole were dirty, there was bugs in room, jacuzzi doesn t work, the manager said I was lying when I was a paying customer. Rude people, don t go here, also the ladies stole my barbecue pit and wouldn t give it back nor my deposit. Bad place to stay, if you wanna stay with people who do drugs stay in this hotel .

The room is very big and spacious. There is a ceiling fan and multiple light options. Unfortunately the bedroom had some sort of bed bugs and we got bit all over. Front desk seemed to be aware and we got a mediocre apology. Breakfast was a joke. No staff was in there refilling and we constantly were waiting on staff to fill the breakfast. Limited options and very stingy on milk and bread. The toaster is right next to a dusty cable and hose which made the experience worst. Very limited seating in the dining area and they ask you do not take food but do not provide any (or much) in the first place or a lot of seating options. The pool was open and spa. The bubbles and spa temp was colder than the pool and did not work. The spa floor is rough and my family and I were scraped. The pool is outside and by the dumpster saw big cockroaches on each night we were there. This hotel is also located right next to a funeral home. Made the experience more eerie. You do NOT get what you pay for at this price. I recommend staying elsewhere for better sleep experience. Safety: On the access road next to a funeral home.

The people running this place are greedy, theiving crooks that look for reasons to charge extra and just make them up!! . They charged us 200 to wash towels we used to clean up spilled tea. They didnt even see if the tea would come out, they hadnt even been washed yet The manager walked in on me when I was in bed undressed, and it wasnt even check out time yet. He was so aggressive and belligerent that I had to call the police. Unfortunately, they couldnt really do anything, but I tell everyone I know to avoid this nasty run down and ghetto hotel at all costs. I would not have chosen this hotel at first glance because it looks rundown, and has mold (and there were little apple seed shaped bugs in the bedding) and roaches crawling over everything, but my brother in law got us the room because we were visiting from out of town and he didnt want us driving back home tired. I feel horrible that his kindness was taken advantage of because they kept making up charges and took advantage that they had his bank account number. Everything in the room was outdated, dirty or didnt work. The blanket is actually a curtain, the carpets are extremely dirty and moist and the whole room smelled horrible, it literally made us sick and my daughter had an allergy attack from the dust and mold. This was BY FAR, the worst experience I have EVER had at a hotel in my life, and we stay at hotels often. This nasty dump was not worth 20 much less all the overcharging and stealing they did. Better to go to a better quality hotel, it will actually be cheaper. The management here should be ashamed but of course they arent. The manager who came in my room was acting like he thought he was a prison guard and we were not paying customers!! They are crass (petty and unprofessional, hostile) and shameless! !!!!!!!!!!Avoid at ALL costs!!!!!!!

Not a bad place. Beds are soft. Cleaner than some. Room fridges are horrible. No freezer section but it will randomly freeze things. Needs more electrical outlets near furniture. Bring a portable charger or 6 and 9 foot cables. Wi-Fi drops in and out and is unsecured, so use a VPN or all your info is being broadcast to whoever wants to steal it.

Whould give no stars to KAREN if I could. Once trying to get back in my room 110 my key didnt work not only that but we left our curtains open and could clearly see house keeping hadnt stopped by. Karen in front desk at the moment reprogrammed my key twice and still didnt work and told me house keeping normally confirms with front desk before leaving for the day. Also mentioned that they have been having trouble w the room specifically, key/lock. Went a 3rd and 4th time to notify the room key was still not working and asked her to try opening the room. Karen already had an attitude to start with asked her for a refund and told me she couldnt and I had to wait for management in the morning mind you i still can not get in my room. Asked for corporate number and said she doesnt have it.She tried opening the door herself and told me you see I cant even get in. So I told her why book a room if its not working properly, and she stated it was working but it broke again. After about 30 minutes maintenance came out and finally opened the door. He confirmed that house keeping had obviously not stopped. I informed maintenance that he was very helpful and how rude Karen was. So we asked again for another room or refund and finally got another room. Karen also sent maintenance to take towels to our new room.... keep in mind I have my son and two nephews with me holding to use the restroom because we couldnt get in our room and the restroom in the lobby is closed due to the pandemic.

Unfortunately a misunderstanding occurred with the lady at the counter, she has been talking on the room phone all night. He hasnt let me sleep, he talks and hangs up the phone, he yells at me on the phone, when I ask him for a solution to the problem he tells me that he doesnt know what to do and hangs up. Noteworthy details: Bad customer service!!!

We stayed there 2 nights in room 128 and I got bit by bed bugs really bad. I called the front office and asked to speak with her manager and they said she only works Monday thru Friday from 8-5 left my number for them to call me back and till this day I have not gotten a call back. Girl at front office was rude and said that its impossible that I got bit there because they have a cleaning company that fumigates on a daily basis which I know its not true. The bed sheets were not even changed because they had like a pee stain NEVER AGAIN WILL WE STAY THERE.

They gave us a room that is connected to another room with a door. Our side did not lock. We kept turning the lock on the door and checking if it still opened and it always did. The men in the room next door thought we were trying to get in their room so they yelled at us and called the front desk to report. We explained the situation and told the receptionist that we did not feel safe with the fact the door didn t lock. We asked if we could stay in another room, but they did not let us and just told the men to keep THEIR door locked. We felt unsafe the whole night.

Excellent location, very close to the Anzalduas bridge. The rooms are quite spacious. Comfortable beds. They just dont have duvets. You can hear a little noise from the street. The bad, very bad thing is in the breakfast it is bad, very poor. The shower water is super rich, very abundant. The climate is very pleasant. In general, the room is super vs price.

Horrible experience; the lady at the front desk (black hair , glasses , short lady, manager ) that checked us in last night was rude, unprofessional and just horrible . I did make a complain but apparently the other manager (Maria) was not too keen about making a report .The lady was acting so immature by mocking us and telling us I don t wanna talk to you anymore . Stayed overnight while on the way to visit family, and I had developed a blister from wearing the wrong shoes at work a few days prior. I went to change the bandaid upon entering my room and I realized that I had forgotten to pack them. I went to the front desk and the woman working offered me a bandaid. She also told me that there was a Dollar Tree nearby, so I went there to get more bandaid. The stay was pleasant and otherwise uneventful but I really appreciate the woman that gave me a bandaid

I had to wait 45 min so they could find my reservation and the customer service is awful. I ended staying at a Motel 6 because the front desk wouldnt take my Visa Card. The toilet was leaking water. Very bad from the moment you arrive, the treatment is not the best, they dont talk to you kindly, they open your rooms without knocking, they search your things, the windows dont lock, you cant leave valuables because there isnt even a safe. At certain times there is no water or there is very low water pressure, the pool is dirty and has been there for 9 days and was closed with green and dirty water, very bad customer service from the hotel manager, if you book, they charge you from the first day. every day and you cant cancel due to bad service because they dont refund your money, the breakfast is very bad, I dont recommend it. Rooms: Good but accessories in poor condition broken chairs low price of water refrigerator does not cool well Safety: They dont close the windows, at least to lock them in the rooms I rent like 112. They dont have a safe, little security. Wi-fi: The signal is not stable, the internet is not good. Food and drinks: They dont have good food Noteworthy details: The main manager of the hotel serves in a very bad way, very unfriendly to be the manager, very bad service.

First of all the extra charge for the kids is insane if they are younger than 10 in most hotels it s free then my daughter forgot her Blanket there and I called to report the same day and apparently it vanished from the room only the housekeepers have access too and nobody has a seen a Sherpa blanket I would accept the mistake if I would forgotten something at the pool where everybody has access too so apparently the housekeepers are thief s I have forgotten in other hotels and they always turn them in to the office mind you I reported it the same day not days later then they have fines for everything you can t invite anyone over because they are fined they should use those cámaras they have to check there staff overall super bad service and I will be sharing my experience with others so they won t visit this place !!

Horrible. Nasty and rude desk. List is too long to describe non working Things in the room. I suggest staying at the Holiday Inn just across the river for about the same price. I booked this room over the phone since the Best Western website was not functioning. I made the silly assumption That the quality would be the same as a Best Western. Not even in the same ball park. This is the red headed step child. Big mistake

Stayed a couple of days, was gonna do the oyo that Ng, drama on phone reserving so went here instead. LOVED IT. I freak out about bugs so I was concerned after seeing what another reviewer said. NO WORRIES in end. Nice if it wasnt carpet at all, but it was ok. Staff were GREAT. Size of room Awesome. Amenities, dining table size, fridge microwave, great plug outlets and to plug in your stuff, bed comfort, bathroom size, all impressive! Gonna be go to place from now on in area. Great price too! Great place! A little noisy with families enjoying pool and hot tub but thats ok with me!

The manager is so Kind and welcoming even in tough situations and with some guest giving her a hard time she remains calm and respectful with them I was checking in when an angry guest approached her using vulgar language and not once did she raise her voice at the guest she remained calm and respectful despite the fact the guest was being disrespectful to her you dont see that behavior from many people now a days most people would have just argued back. So definitely five starts for employee five stars for my room I have stayed in the past and roaches were an issue you can tell they mean business because they took care of the issues some improvements have been made you can tell more detail cleaning is done to the rooms only suggestions is they should really get rid of the carpet.Oh And cant forget their awesome pool hours thats what keeps me and my family coming back.

Its clean, the staff is terrible, they dont have the slightest desire to serve you, it seems like they hate you, theyre bad people. In the next room there was a party until dawn and no one did anything. The bathroom lights dont work, they didnt give us any options and we had to be in the dark. The front desk staff was very nice. Rooms still very dated and carpet needs to be replaced or at a very minimum shampooed. Killed a few cockroaches too. Slept with the lights on but there were no lightbulbs in half the lamps. Its a great location and could be a great hotel but hopefully the new management will invest in some maintenance.

My father in law and I are both truck drivers. We both brought a load in town and asked if we could park the trucks in the luby parking lot. The lady told us or you can park in the parking lot. So we decided to both move pur 2 trucks in the front parking lot out of the way. I get a call at midnight to move the trucks. Why tell someone its OK to do something and then tell us its not. I know truck drivers all over and drivers that come here often and will tell them to stay away from this hotel. Train your staff better.....

Kassie is the best in the business shes so kind and welcoming she truly treats you like family hotel is not the newest but the treatment you get from the employees here is worth the stay plus 24hr pool cant go wrong with that.

Worst place to stay in, its infected with roaches, and receptionist think it normal. Pillow sheets and bed sheets are yellow. I Wouldn t recommend anyone staying there.

Very nice place. Super clean. The swimming pool is open 24 hours and clean. The breakfast is great. Nice to see hotels giving breakfast again. Will definitely stay again.

Longest night ever. We wanted to stay just for the night before crossing to the border and we stayed here but had a horrible experience. The toilet paper was already used. They had no extra toilet paper and the tub was dirty. Not to mentioned there was a tiny roach and some.kind of critter in the tub. The room smelled like cigarette and I just could not bear the smell. Finished my body spray there. Only because it was midnight and had a long drive we decided to stay. We didnt even take off our clothes lol we slept on top of the covers with our clothes on.

It was okay, but pool looked bigger in the pictures. And we booked online and the pictures showed our room with a jacuzzi, but we got there and they said it wasnt included, so we had to pay an extra $20 to get that room.

Decent for the price clean n close to grocery store n fast food. However we got assigned the room on top off office n a/c unit barely cooling n the outside units blowing hot air as u got to your room in the corner. Couldnt change as we were there for a funeral.

Service was bad. Kid left shoes behind they said they will hold. Called to make sure they still had all of a sudden GONE. Staff probably STOLE them. They has no explanations what so ever. Leave 0 stars for this place.

We booked from Priceline. We were told that pets were allowed and states it s pet-friendly. The lady said, it says that on Priceline but we don t accept them. Which was misleading and we drove all the way from Nebraska. Although, she did let us stay as long our pet didn t make a mess. Resolution, the manager allowed us to stay the rest of 2-3 days that we book. We appreciate that! Our pet is trained, so we don t have issues. Although, the room on the second floor was stuffy, and kinda dirty. We did ask for another room, but was denied. Some we have a pet. In all, the room was not clean. The fan had dust, and the room smelled a bit ugly. If you have allergies you are doomed!

Housekeeping does a great job at providing cleanliness and organization to the rooms. Everything is stocked up when they service a room. They take the Do Not Disturb sign seriously when its hanging at a door, so make sure you remove it if you want housekeeping to stop by your room. Breakfast is also open now! Texas shaped waffles never fail to please. The front desk crew is amazing, so helpful, and are very clear about communicating different aspects, from rates to rooms available based on bed types and things related to reservations. If you want to avoid hassle with third party reservations and potential cancellations and fees as a result, definitely call the front desk and reserve with them directly. Theyll help you out. Best hotel in Mission run by a strong team of beautiful and kind-hearted ladies.
