Hour and 20 minutes and the food never showed up. Called the location they gave me attitude saying that order hadnt even started cooking yet, after I explained it had been over an hour they confessed they had delivered my order to the wrong customer and were remaking it. My only wish is that I could have eaten my dinner there. Besides that, everything was great! I ordered the lunch menu steak tips, added 6 sauteed shrimp and sauteed mushrooms and onions. I got a small side salad with it and opted for the loaded baked potato. I also chose the peach iced tea. Steak tips were well seasoned and tender (even after driving back to my hotel). Shrimp was seasoned well and sauteed perfectly and Im not sure what they marinated the mushrooms and especially the onions with but they were absolutely packed with flavor. Could be balsamic or red wine vinegar among other things. Loaded baked potato wasnt exactly loaded, everything was put on the side but came with butter, sour cream, bacon bits and cheese. A potato is a potato is a potato....kind of hard to set yourself apart with a baked potato, maybe a dash of course sea salt on the outside then wrapped would help but delicious nevertheless and the peach tea was very peachy and very delicious and refreshing. Woman who greeted me and took my order was courteous and very helpful with the menu, another gentleman who I assume was kitchen help assured me that the order was coming up soon and the gentleman preparing my order was courteous and all thanked me for stopping by as I left. Got all that for under $30, If I could give 10 starts I definitely would.

My family and I used to love steak express ordered there a lot. Great food. We ordered from there months ago and steaks were full of gristle to much money for that. Well today the wife wanted steak express so we decided to try again and ordered. Once again she had to throw away majority of steak because of gristle. It s way to much money for that. Shrimp, salad,baked potatoes and Philly cheesesteak was very good probably gonna be a long time before we try them again if we ever do guess I m back to cooking our steaks. Made an online order took over an hour for deliver. Burger was burnt & missing a $7 cake that was ordered. Called and the Assistant Manger Janie/Jamie argued about it being sent or not. Stated she felt the bag and the cake was in there. IT WASNT. Argued with me 5 min and then said when my driver returned she would send him back with it. At this point I did not trust her to send any kind of food to me for she was so rude and argumentative over a slice of cake I asked for a refund and she said she would note my account for a credit for the next time I ordered. Had to demand an actual refund (we will see if I really get it). When I asked her name she began crying because she knew she was unprofessional and in the wrong.

I ordered a surprise steak dinner for my s/o Birthday dinner to be delivered to his hotel room since hes having to work out of town in Midland & couldnt be home. Its been a rough week, and weve had some bad news and hard hits lately but I cant thank ALL of the staff of Texas Express, specifically Ashley (the GM) all the way to the delivery guy enough! All I can say is they DEFINITELY UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT! They even threw in a free peach cobbler for his birthday! #YouRock We were on FaceTime when the delivery guy (sorry idk his name) arrived and gave him the order he said Happy Birthday man! My s/o said that was cool as hell! He got back in the room and saw where they wrote on the outside of the bag (just as I requested online when placing the order) Happy Birthday -The best is yet to come! This MADE HIS DAY, and he was smiling from ear to ear for the first time Ive seen in days. I was even on FT crying like it was my birthday it was just super sweet of them all to do that and I cant thank them enough. You never know what someone is going though, and little things like this mean so much after all weve been dealing with this past week. Its been 2 years since Ive been to KDs. The food is still excellent. The meats are very flavorful and very lean, a high quality product. The cobbler is still delicious whether you like peach or cherry. On a side note the potato salad is not the same. It does not have a richer hearty flavor its rather sour. The beans are good. I know prices are going up but it seemed a bit high. Both me and my son we got two slices of brisket one scoop of sausage a small container of cobbler and the total came out to be over $50. We did not get drinks in this price. This was just a bit higher than I expected. It used to be the meal this size would have cost about 30 to $35. But on a good note the staff is very friendly the service is very prompt and polite and the restaurant is very clean. Good job and be proud of the food you serve. It was very delicious with the exception of the new potato salad. Dietary restrictions: This is a barbecue place if you do not like beef chicken or turkey you might not want to go here. The best thing about this place is they will cut your meat to your specific needs desires wants. If you get here early during the busiest times they do have a large selection of vegetables baked potatoes corn on the cob etc to go with your main meal. Parking: Lots of areas of Park. If you cant find a spot its obviously you arrived late as others are eating and youre not. Kid-friendliness: Lots of room for the kids to run around the dining room is open and great for kids to be able to explore. All the many unusual signs and collectibles around the dining area and the building itself are quite stimulating. Wheelchair accessibility: Nice large ramps and easy flowing into the building although it is raised the ramp access is quite nice and not too steep. If anything Im sure any one of the staff would be glad to help you should you need assistance. Get out and live life.

Nothing to write home about but I got steak tips with a loaded potatoe and salad. Steak was ok...I had better from Walmart I cooked myself with only salt and pepper. My loaded potatoe was not loaded....everything was given to me on the side ...guess you have to dress it up yourself but for 25.00 ....yea ok. I only ate the salad because I paid 25.00. I hate to see all these negative reviews because this place has never disappointed me in the 5 years I ve been a customer. I ve ordered several things from their menu, using both delivery and pickup, and have always been very pleased. I ve been on a sirloin salad kick here lately and I get 2 meals out of it. I cut the steak tips up into finer pieces and boom, 2 whole steak salads for $11. You cannot beat that! As far as the customer service goes - I think people tend to get turned off to a place when an employee doesn t show an unrealistic amount of enthusiasm, but these guys are still cooking, cleaning, running drive thru, taking to go orders, etc etc.. I m always smiled at, greeted and thanked for my business. That s good enough for me!

My friend picked up our order. It was two dollars more per meal without any pre notification. Then when she got it hime to us one of the meals had no baked potato. We called as we were ready to eat. They told her that they could not deliver it to us even though they have delivery services. So she drove over to the store again. They were not apologetic just handed the ootato to her. No compensation of any kind for the inconvenience. re has not only lost one customer, but three.

Ive been getting food from here for almost 3 years and it has consistently been getting worse every time. Our steaks today were so tough we couldnt eat them. The potatoes, well, Im not sure how yall keep sending out baked potatoes that are still hard inside. Youre notorious for forgetting items in orders. I used to like Steak Express, and in other cities it great. The Steak Express in Midland is pretty lousy. I will never return to this place. They got my order wrong which in itself, is not that big a deal. I understand that mistakes happen. It was attempting to resolve the matter that was an ordeal. When I called to inform them that my order was wrong, I was treated as if I was lying and trying to rip them off for a few dollars. I had to drive back to the store and return my meal. When I got there it was obvious that the manager did not want to deal with me. When the manage finally did decide to deal with me, she was very rude. She made an error and refunded the wrong person, and then stood at the register cussing as she tried to refund me my money. The service at this store is horrible. Think twice before ordering from here.

The cashier was very respectful and let me tell you that my wife is battling cancer so all of her food needs to be well done. We always have to send food back to make it right and like always it comes out dry and burnt. Not here the food came out cooked and very good. Placed my order over the phone was given a 15-20 minute time frame for order to be completed. Upon arrival to pick up my order, I was at the drive thru window for 9 minutes before I called to let them know I had been sitting at the window and not been acknowledged. On top of all that, my order was wrong, couldnt even get an answer when I called to let them know. Unfortunately, my experience has been great but my last visit was terrible. I ordered a steak meal with a basked potato. They didnt ask if I wanted it loaded. I assumed it came with bacon. Then I needed to place the same duplicate order..I get to orders with no bacon. When I called to place the order, they couldnt find it. Then the wait time for longer then expected. I hate to be that guy but I have to post this. I ordered the chopped steak on Sunday Nov 8, 2020, which is usually all I order now because the other stakes are usually tough as leather. I order from this store enough to know pretty much what should come with my order. When I questioned the window clerk if everything was included he said it was but when I checked there was no salad and no fixins for my loaded potato and only two of six chocolate chip cookies that I ordered. (was charged for the full half dozen) Fortunately I had not left the parking lot and could go inside to request the rest of my order. If I had gotten all the way home and then checked my order I would have been really upset. Heres a tip Steak Express, train your employees to check the orders before handing off to the customer. Hopefully this will not be an issue again. Suggestion: always check your order before leaving.

Just ordered two Philly Express Sandwiches. One was suppose to have no cheese , so instead they put cheese on both and didn t put peppers or onions on one of them. Ordered Unsweetened Tea, it was marked unsweetened but it had so much sugar in it you could become a diabetic. Realized this is why we quit ordering from them.

I hate leaving bad reviews about a place that was once good. This last time however I just cant seem to let go. My wife ordered us the His/hers meal and my son a burger. Long story short the math did not add up to what the web sight showed the prices on the menu. So they said we owed them $10 more than it should be according to the menu price. As I went to check out I brought this up with the associate and they said the prices went up but have not changed online. So I calmly mentioned false advertising. I was hoping she would do something, atleast have her manager come over or something. Didnt have my food yet and I dont trust them not to tamper with it if I made too big of a deal. When I get home and try my tea it tastes old and sour. I am very unhappy with the service and the lack of caring.

Well, we ordered two philly cheese steak sandwiches and when they came, I was really disappointed. The buns were soaked to the point of soggy and falling into a gooey conglomerate of meat, cheese, and some type of liquid. I have had the real deal before, and I know Im in Texas, but really??? This is what you give your customers??? First and last time for me.

We ordered the his and hers rib eyes. Neither one was cooked anywhere near what we ordered. Both were almost raw. I had to cook them just to get them eatable. Usually the food is good but not this time. May be a while before we go back.

I was pleasantly surprised. I did not expect a full steak on a sandwich, I expected something sliced or whatever. They were kind and considerate given the pandemic, they got me a nice lunch, a full sirloin on a bun, all the fixings. The steak was cooked perfectly, medium/rare, it was tasty, it was seasoned well without anything overbearing, it was tender and easy to eat and it was a great steak sandwich

We ordered 2 ribeye steaks. It was the worst steak weve ever had. Both steaks were just gristle. It was too late so I couldnt call and get it replaced. This was for my daughters birthday. I advise anyone buying food to check their order before leaving. It was very disappointing.

A friend and I went to steak express and ordered 2 ribeye steaks medium rare and when we got them they were almost raw and uneatable. They were horrible. If that s how you treat people in Midland you won t have my business or anybody that I know. Y all get a zero.

Ordered 5 burgers at 9:30 was told 45 min to an hour food got here an hour an a half later.they left out a burger said 30 min and the would have it here and never came back. So unprofessional Ill never order steak express again

The steak I ordered was terrible it was like eating a piece of rubber it made my jaw cramp up while trying to chew it which was impossible to do because if you were to swallow it you probably would choke to death I was not happy about sirloin steak I couldnt re turn it because it was too far to drive

Ordered a double cheeseburger well done and got medium rare. Had to cook the sandwich even more, because I dont eat pink meat. And luckily I had some beef broth to cook it or it would have been dry. Next time instead of delivery, Ill pick it up. And the prices are all wrong on the site too...$25 bucks for a double cheeseburger, potato and two teas? Okay...

I placed an order for delivery. We then had a family emergency and had to go to the emergency room. I called and cancelled the order and told them I d pay for it anyway since the food had already been made. They insisted that they would refund my money anyway. I then called them and asked if they could change the delivery address to the hospital and they did. Thankfully we were able to eat dinner since we were in the hospital all night.

Ordered twice in the last couple of weeks- both times we ve had to wait for the driver to come back with multiple missing items and the staff doesn t seem to care... they act like it s no big deal you have to wait an extra hour for items you ve already paid for.
