Absolutely a treasure! My first time to visit was on Texas Independence Day, on March 2nd! Visiting with the Daughters of the Republic of Texas for the Toast To Texas! This was such a great treat as I knew quite a few of the individuals whos lives are represented here in the museums artifacts and displays. I hope to share more about The Haley in hopes to let others see the great history located here in Midland and West Texas areas surrounding Midland! Thank you to the McDaniels for their service in Midland as well as the preservation of and passing down of the heritage and history that makes Midland, Texas such a great place on the Texas, USA, & World maps!

What a treasure trove of Western History information and artifacts the Haley Memorial Library holds! IF you love Texas and Texans, take time to visit whenever you are in Midland. Mr. Haley did a fabulous job of acquiring so much information that is historically significant and making it available to anyone interested in the History of Texas. Go and be pleasantly surprised!
