Room was overall clean and spacious, however there is a huge gap under the front door so you can hear everything in the hallway. I checked in late at night and when I arrived no one was at the front desk. I tried calling the hotel and messaging through the app but no response. I had to wait for a while for someone to finally show up.

I honestly dislike Midland bc theres not many nice places to stay bc the oil field.. This was my second time here and it was great both times. This time, I met Melva! She made our staff amazing. As a business owner, i can say without a doubt; shes a huge asset to this hotel! We had an issue with noise and she handled it promptly. The rooms were clean, breakfast was good and the breakfast area was clean and tidy. Overall, all the staff at this location is amazing!

1/25/2024 - Extremely unprofessional check-in experience with front desk attendant Evangeline. My wife and I were standing together checking in at the front desk. Instead of handing our room keys to my wife, whos hand was outstretched, she chose throw them on the counter. I noticed that the 2 previous customers had their keys handed to them and placed in their hands. When I asked Evangeline why she did that and explained how rude and unprofessional her action was, she took an angry and very rude tone and told me I could contact her location manager. As a Black man, I have never been one to play the race card but in this instance, race was clearly her motivation. I am reaching out to the location, regional and corporate customer relations leadership teams to share my horrible experience with this young lady. I will ask them if this is the person they want representing their brand.

Amy and Trisha in the bar area 10 out of 10 highly would recommend!! My only problem with this hotel is housekeeping, knocking on your door well before check out and constantly knocking every hour until then, even if you have a schedule late check out is my only problem!! Other than not highly would recommend staying at this hotel!!!

Our stay was amazing! The staff was great, the hotel was clean, and the rooms were spacious. We came from 3 hours away to the All-Stars tournament and muggs field. The hotel was FULL of softball kids from all ages it was WILD, but no matter how crazy it was the staff worked hard and kept the hotel clean and under control after all the kids would walk in from the pool or if they were running around. I DEFINITELY WILL BE COMING BACK! BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF FOR AN AMAZING STAY! Rooms: Love that the toilet was in a different part of the room than the shower. Had great space for the kids, snacks and all our softball equipment. Safety: Staff made sure to mop up and put wet floor signs after the kids would come in from the pool, leaving little puddles!

Let me first say that the girl running the continental breakfast in the morning is hard working and attentive. I wish the same thing could be said about the bartender. The bartender was slow and not personable whatsoever. With only 5 people at the bar, it took 20 minutes to get 3 simple drinks: margarita, jack and coke, and a gin and tonic. These arent exactly difficult drinks. And to add to that, she forgot to pour a beer into a cup for someone else and when I reminded her, she said, and I quote this is going to be the death of me. This is when my wife poured the beer into a glass for her to help her out. I get that everyone has bad days but the attitude on this one was really something for a job that requires a lot of interaction. Figure it out Marriott.

Reserved a room along with my coworkers. Arrived at SringHill around 11pm, supplied my name and confirmation number only to find that they gave my room away.. What was really infuriating was all the front desk would do is say they were sorry and left me scrambling to find a room. Extremely upsetting and horribly inconvenienced. We came to Midland for important meetings, this forced us to move schedules around. Not a good start to an important business trip.. SpringHill will never see another dime of our money again. This was inexcusable, do better SpringHill!

Nice hotel, pretty decent rooms. But if you want to sleep past 7:30 - 8:00 am I would say to go to another hotel. On the day of check out, the cleaning staff knocked once and opened my door within seconds, before I could respond. Good thing I had my door latch engaged. But why would they try to come in at 8:00 am on the day of check out when check out is not u too 12 pm? I was still sleeping at the time. I spoke to the person at the desk and they said the owner is requesting the cleaning staff to do this, so if you want to sleep past 7:30 am I suggest stay elsewhere. I also plan to call the corporate office about this policy as well.

Ive stayed at a lot of the hotels in Midland and so far I like Springhill the best...Especially over any of the Hilton properties! I like that this Marriott has streaming service and not just live tv available (Hilton just has live tv stations) HOWEVER - I had issues with my streaming when I stayed M-Th. I couldnt watch a single thing without the stream having to buffer every 3 minutes and the buffer could take 10 minutes and then suddenly fail.I spoke with Josh about my issue and he was very understanding and helpful. I was told the hotel is busy M-Th so everyone is on the WiFi. In that case, I think their Internet services should be upgraded. Aside from that everything else was great. Love that theres free breakfast. Rooms are huge and clean. They have a hotel bar that seemed busy every night. They have a pool and a gym (but sadly no foam roller) Overall great experience. (aside from the TV which I look forward to in order to relax after work)

When we went down to swim, the pool and spa had not been cleaned that day, as there was beer cans in the spa and the pool had dirt on the bottom of it. The spa had some tile missing on rhe inside of the spa, making it easy for someone to get hurt on the sharp edges. The room was very clean. The hotel in general was clean. Good breakfast.

I don t have respect for hotels and Marriott s that don t have respect for their guest and travel needs. This hotel advertises high speed internet, and in today s needs high speed WiFi is a must have. This property doesn t have it. 9 MPS is slow. You can t do proper work at those speeds on teams or zoom. Heck their Netflix in the rooms are useless. It is 2021, this place could get faster WiFi if it wanted too, specially at the rates they are changing. As a Marriott Titanium Elite member, I stay at a lot of properties. This is one I will not be back at because of that. It may sound petty, then don t charge more than $200 a night.

Asked her about our bill, instead of her looking at the bill and seeing that the issue was resolved (which we figured out in the car AFTER talking to her) she just got an attitude and kept with the i cant do that instead of let me look into this. (Customer service is EVERYTHING! and really effects the day of the person you serve... a manager should always be willing to provide more smiles than the employees)

Hotel is mediocre. Here is the real problem. Some Jake-Leg decided a good way to make extra money is to charge $7.00 for parking. Seriously a small parking lot at a non resort. The idiot that came up with that will be unemployed in a few months. See you Marriott, I m going to Hilton where the parking is free at normal hotels and the rooms are nice and clean. There is no gratitude that we chose to stay or care of hospitality, instead I felt that we were a burden, intruding on the property and wasting their time. I witnessed multiple others guests experience the same treatment. We will stay somewhere else next time and I advise others to book elsewhere too.

This hotel got our entire teams money without informing us of ANY of their new COVID protocols. We called to set up a team block of 10 rooms. We let them know it was for a local baseball tournament and that we would all have children with us. No mention of any issues except no hot breakfast (which is perfectly fine). We checked in the night before the tournament. Again, no mention of any extra protocols except the breakfast. They just took ran our cards and gave us the room keys. They did inform us that there are only two towels in each room, so we would have to ask if we wanted more (this was for a double room with a pull out). Come the next day, after our games, the kids want to go swim together and have the general camaraderie that comes with tournaments. This is when we were informed that all patios are closed (except to smokers - because that would be discrimination), only 10 people total (swimming or not) in the OUTDOOR pool area, and we could not gather anywhere in a group larger than 5. I understand that each business handles COVID differently, as does each individual. I completely respect everyones choice in how they deal with this personally as well as professionally. My issue is that they waited to inform us of this until we had already checked in, unpacked, paid for the initial night, and could not move hotels without forfeiting the next night as well due to check out time. They new how many of us there were and why we were there. There was NO mention of these issues before it was too late for us to decide to stay somewhere else. It is every businesss right to make their own policies, just as it is every patrons right to decide if they want to support that business by paying for their services. It is, however, the RESPONSIBILITY of the business to make sure that decision is informed and that they dont dupe customers into being stuck there under false pretenses.

We needed a place to stay to break up a long drive. We arrived around midnight. Jocelyn took care of us during checkin. She was very upbeat, friendly, and let us know that room extras were minimized due to Covid but to let her know if we needed anything. I wound up making two trips down to the desk for soap and extra pillows and she was very courteous and helpful each time. Most of all, her friendliness didn t lessen despite how many times I had to bug her.

For a sparsely occupied place to reject a request for late check-out was a tell-tale sign of something amiss with the franchise management. The bath tub was blocked, inadequate towels for a two queen bed room, one of each (i.e. TWO) coffee bags, pillows without covers, etc.

Lets start off with the lobby area.... The designer did a great job with the choice of colors, carpet, patterns, furniture light fixtures etc... Everything in that lobby said wow look at me. Aside from the Aloft in Brooklyn this lobby area also gave me that WOW factor. That WOW factor is carried all the way to your room. The room design to me was very unique I loved it. Again I only stay Marriott and this would be my 10th time Ive stayed at a SpringHill but this layout was different and worked. The speration of the bathrooms was what made the room experience for me as well as the lighting in the room. All the staff super friendly and got me checked in once I arrived. Price for this stay was not bad at all either. Compared to all the other locations I have stayed in this area, SpringHill is the 2nd best in that category. Now the only downside to this specific stay was that they were under construction at the time I was there. I wish they werent under construction at the time I stayed so I could of enjoyed the extra amenities that this location offers. But hey thats literally it. Overall 2nd best Marriott Hotel to stay at in this area. Everything is great all around.

Best nights sleep I had in a hotel this trip. Room was large, clean, and quiet. Grounds were well lit so I could walk out to my vehicle at night without feeling worried. Breakfast was pretty good for a hotel continental style. The fruit was actually fresh and hot food was hot. Overall a nice stop-over.

Stayed here for over a week only because I was working to many hours to have time to move to another hotel. One elevator was broken for days. No bottled water for the first several days. No coffee available after whatever was left out in the afternoon got cold. I am Marriott Titanium Elite and even with my access to the high speed intent I could not stream anything without buffering and would get kicked offline completely every 30 minutes or so because the data transfer rate would get so slow. Signal was fine, the service was inadequate. Two co-workers in different parts of the building experienced the same problem. This made it impossible for any of us to remotely log into a drilling rig to troubleshoot problems which, in turn, required us leave the property to find another wifi service during the few hours of sleep that we were able to get. Frustrating enough in and of itself but to then have the front desk argue that there was nothing wrong was infuriating. Own your shortcomings and find a way to improve! Neither myself nor others from my company will return to this property.
