Stopped by Addies dinner for the first time since the reviews recommended. Personally, I enjoyed the atmosphere and service but the prices really took me by surprise. I wasnt expecting to pay $60+ for a simple breakfast for 2.

The food, service and atmosphere are amazing here! The food was so delicious and The portions are generous. Their sweet tea is so good. The service was excellent, We were greeted as soon as we walked in and Our cups never went empty. Our waitress was very attentive. The atmosphere is so cool, Records hanging from the ceiling and Some on the wall. This is one hell of a brunch spot. Its worth it. Kudos to the staff, Especially the cooks. The food, the service... Everything about this place is magnificent. We will definitely be returning.

first off I want to say that the service was decent I was seated almost immediately, and Aubrey was moderately attentive, the issue I had was with the food, I got a chorizo burrito and it was a giant greasy mess, it tasted OK, but it was falling apart everywhere and it just really wasn t all that satisfying.

Good food, like home cooked. Good portions. Service could have been a little better. We ordered sausage and the order was wrong. It came with bacon. We asked for a side of sausage and explained the order was wrong. We were charged for it. They were fairly busy, so could ve been the reason for the mistake.

Food was great, and the atmosphere was neat. I was taken back at how two meals and a soda was $40+ dollars then on top of that their tipping system was insane. The recommended tips were 30%, 40%, and 50%. It s crazy asking someone to tip that much. Obviously you can customize it, but the fact that that s what it s set at is just crazy and didn t sit right with me.

What an awesome find. We met up with some friends, looking for a spot for breakfast. Our original choice was closed so we diverted here. What a find! The chicken fried steak was excellent, as were the side dishes and pancakes. We will return next time we are in town.

On average you will pay $15 per plate and $6 for a burrito. They also charge a 4% credit/debit card processing fee. The food was just ok, nothing different from any other place. For two plates, and a burrito the ticket was over $60.00 for breakfast. The place has seen better days.

We stopped at Addies for breakfast AND lunch. My wife ordered a number 4 breakfast plate with a pancake on the side. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with hone made chips. Everything was delicious!! The burger was so big that I had to take half home. I wish this place was open past 2:00.

I would recommend that any traveler looking for an old school diner meal to stop in for a bite. From the decor, hospitality, and of course the food, the experience is just naturally enjoyable. They totally screwed up my order. I didnt touch it they still made me pay for it . Served my daughter spoiled milk the cook and the manager at that time came out yelling at me and my family and friends. Totally disrespectful, rude . Not to mention how disgusting the place looks inside and the smell. We definitely need a health inspector to go look at that place and shut it down . DO NOT GO THERE. I WISH I KNEW THE OWNER. My husband and I have been here before and it was excellent so we decided to give it another shot this morning. I got a side of avocado which in the menu clearly states it is 1.99- when it came out it was THREE small slices on a plate when we got to check out the avocado was 4.99! When I asked the waitress about it she said I don t make the prices and when I told her about the laughable amount of avocado that was sent out she just shrugged her shoulders. I was absolutely disgusted at the lack of professionalism. We will never go back

Food and service were good. However, upon paying the bill which was not left at our table for prior review, I noticed it was quite pricey. When questioning it, the cashier immediately knew we were being overcharged. She had no problem, refunding our money because we were charged for three sodas, rather than three waters. Because of her nonchalant attitude about the situation and never an apology, when we left, I decided to look up reviews and on YELP the majority of the reviews that were negative were because of overcharging. In my opinion this restaurant knows exactly what they are doing and it is definitely a scam. For all of you that still decide to go .., pay attention to your bill. I will never return.

The hamburgers were very good. The patty was thick, and the bun was tasty. However, I ordered a chili cheeseburger. It didnt have much chili on it. Many bites had no chili flavor. The onion rings were excellent! The waitstaff did not come check on us often enough.

As a retired Military veteran who enjoys traveling around the country and exploring new places and restaurants I have to tell you that these little hole in the wall dive is THE BEST BREAKFAST RESTAURANT that I have ever been to in my life. You will not leave hungry, the plates are gigantic and the portions of food will leave you mesmerized. The attention put into their preparation of the food is deserving applause. The taste and quality of the food was superior I had the chicken fried steak and eggs with hash browns and toast. The the toast deserves a special mention the buttery flavor and the special texture by their toasting method gives the toast a very unique and robust flavor. Food was okay. Came for breakfast. When we checked out, our meal was $1 more than what it said on the menu. We shared the French toast breakfast, on the menu it says $12.99, when it was rang up it said $13.99. Not sure if tea is different than sodas, we had 2 teas, she rang up 2 Dr. Peppers at $3.99 each. And then what really got us is the options to tip- PAY ATTENTION. The default options were 30%, 40% & 50% luckily we saw the custom option.

We happened on this place and glad we did! Very busy at 9 am on a Sunday morning. We grabbed a booth and placed an order. My husband ordered an omelet and I ordered the pancake breakfast. There was so much food and the pancakes were the size of the plate. Totally more food than we could eat and more food than we paid for! The staff was so nice and always coming by to check on us! We would definitely eat here again but bring bigger appetites! Kid-friendliness: We didn t have kids but there were kids eating there. Very relaxed atmosphere.

This place used to be awesome, but their serving sizes have gone fron maybe 1/4 cup of food to maybe like a tablespoon of food. The beans looked like a plate decoration. It looks decent in this photo but seriously it wasnt enough beans and chile Vedra to make a small burrito.. Not to mention, the prices have gone up a little.. food is still good, but you might have to get 2 plates.

Pretty good service and good atmosphere. The 1 stars is due to our food not being correct. We were also over charged. Was originally a 3 start but the owner is obviously not professional. I did a call In and the girl at the window doesnt remember taking our phone order over the phone so has to go ask someone and another lady came to the window and asked what was the order and went to the back and brought it to us. We ordered chicken country fried steak and country fried steak it was good but would have been better if the batter wasnt soggy by the time i got home to eat it.....next time I know to eat-in. This place is a MUST if your in Midland Texas!!! We order safe and went with the biscuits & gravy and #4 breakfast plate but will definitely branch out when we go back! Locally owned/ran for 14 years and you can tell because the staff is awesome. I would love to also mention that for as busy as the place was with their great decorations it was extremely clean! Very great overall vibe!! Can t wait to go back to bring the family!

Amazing home cooked food and atmosphere. When you walk in they treat you like family. The food is always warm and delicious. The servings are huge. You wont leave hungry.

I got my ticket and was way over charged. Paid $80 when in reality was suppose to pay $63( including extra food i didn t order) I asked what was each item since receipt is not itemized. Manager said each bacon strip is 3.99 but the menu online says 3.99 for 3 strips. I was charged for drinks I didn t order. I ordered 2 pancakes with 5 strips and got 3 pancakes with 6 strips. I got in my car and felt I still over paid. Added everything and it came out to $63. I called to speak to owner or manager. None available. Owner gone for 2 weeks. How strange just left and manager is no longer there? Seems very shady. Called again and was told the menu online is not updated.

God bless this place, the people are very kind and in some way I want to express my gratitude for their generous action by giving away a delicious Thanksgiving dinner with their trays for dessert and everything!! Really thank you very much! They saved our dinner this day!

The food at the diner is phenomenal! It is a great place for breakfast food! Been there so many times trying different items on the menu and cant find any complaints. I had the bacon cheese burger this last go around and hands down my top 5 burger! Great place and friendly staff!

Food was delicious. We had the breakfast chorizo plate with chile Verde and pancakes. 3 stars because Service was inattentive. They never came to check on us after we recieved our food. Its sweltering hot and humid inside. They charge a 4% fee for using a debit/CC.

I was in midland visiting ,when I looked up restaurants for breakfast on Google. This place popped up. I am so glad it did. The breakfast was amazing, tortillas were hot. I had their huevos rancheros. Pancakes were soft and fluffy. The staff was friendly and kept checking on us to make sure we were doing well! Definitely would recommend this place! They sure do put pride in their customer service and their food!! When Im back in town its definitely a must! Maybe next time Ill try their lunch!

This is a must eat diner destination. Addie s brings back a nostalgic time when diners were on every corner in America. The management and staff are always happy to see you when you walk in the door! Try the chicken fried steak. It s one of my favorite dishes in west Texas. But if you decide to go a different route the menu is chock full of great food items. Warning- the sammiches are HUGE! You been warned. Enjoy this diner!!!!!!!

Went for Sunday breakfast after reading some positive reviews. Ordered the huevos rancheros best breakfast I ve had in a long time! Service was great and waitress was pleasant! Highly recommend.

Addie s used to be better. They ve covered the prices on the menu (how is one supposed to decide of he or she is willing to pay a certain price for a certain item?), serve less food (and they ve downsized the plate on which the food is served and portion sizes have decreased), and charge the customer to use a credit/debit card (this 2022 (who still regularly carries cash?) and a bad business practice. Addie s management should post signage in multiple places or on the menu not only at the register after the customer has eaten or advise the customer of this practice surcharge.)
