Such as nice cute park! Playground has really big slides for the bigger kids but also a lower level slide for smaller kids. Maybe some duck food would be cool to feed the duckies. Recommend if you have Toddlers.

Caught my first trout of the second half of my life here the other day. Youll guess this review is about fishing, then, right? Yes! Theres a pond at this park stocked with Rainbow Trout and Channel Catfish, usually at the end of winter. A wonderful pier extends into the water on one side, making it easy for me in my wheelchair to practice my casting, and roll to one end and then the other, trolling my line at least a short distance. Parking is available pretty close to the pier and the pond in general. Other folks were fishing from the shore. One caught a catfish and offered it to me; when I declined, he let it go. Everyone I met was quite nice, briefly chatting with me. Kids 16 and under dont need a license to fish. Adults do need a fishing license whether to catch-and-release or to take fish home (they are tasty). Mine cost me $19 to buy online through Texas Parks and Wildlife. You can also pick up a license at Academy Sports or Walmart. All licenses expire near the end of August every year, so you probably dont want to start your fishing hobby early in that month.

Nice place but without too many shadow spots. It has a playground big enough very clean and well conserved. It has a fishing small lagoon with catfish and troutfish. There are plenty ducks and turtles. As soon as you get close to the lagoon the ducks come to you looking to be fed. You need fishing license according to a sign placed there. Not too many people around. Looks very quiet

I only visited this place at night while I was there... I was captivated by the ducks and geese.. Also the locks and names on the bridge were interesting . Not sure what they represent though. This is a peaceful location with a playground , benches and a pond. Also this place is located by markets and stores.

Reallynice Park but dead fish everywhere in the pond. Took the grandbabies there and they were so excited until they saw all of the dead fish. Just wish someone had maybe used a net to clean all the dead fish out so that the younger children didnt have to see them. It was no ones fault but it certainly did effect our visit.

My boys love this park, it has a small duck pond that catch-and-release fishing used to be allowed (I didnt see anyone fishing the last time we went so not sure if thats still allowed) and the equipment is nice. Overall its rather small but they have the kiddo essentials; swings, slides, stuff to climb, a balance beam and a spinner. Its easy to keep an eye on the little ones from most angles. Highly recommend

My family and my self visited this park in the summer, and Its a good size park, very nice walking trails. It has a little pond with some ducks, geese and other water foul splashing around. Plenty of shade trees. Some sport courts are also present. As in a football field, and tennis courts. And the jungle gym looks like a tree from a legit jungle LOL. Its a very large jungle gym, with some swings next to it. My only complaint is the sprinklers on site are not properly maintained, so some are stuck spraying right over the walking trails. I would recommend this park any day.

One of the better parks as far as slides go for the area. I enjoy the stocked fishing pond, but it is relatively heavily fished. They have stocked ot recently with rainbow trout and some people have been having luck with a helicopter rig and corn.
