The service from the server was great from start to finish. HOWEVER, we asked for the ribeye to be cooked well done with no pink. We had to send it back 2 times to get it right. The manager who brought it back to us both times was not apologetic AT ALL. The second time she came around she said, here s that ribeye.. again.. cut it open again . Just very rude and didn t even apologize for the inconvenience. Not up to standard at all. Not sure of what her name was, but she was wearing a light blue shirt on Thursday night 10/3. Our server David kept checking in on us, so we thank him for that.

Very disappointed!! Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish. We ordered three steaks, all medium well, and what did we get? RARE, undercooked, chewy messes that were impossible to eat! I don t know what kind of kitchen they re running, but it s clearly a joke. It took them a ridiculous 30 minutes to bring out our food, and when they finally did, it was like no one bothered to check if it was even remotely cooked right! Save your money, time, and sanity DO NOT EAT HERE!!

Ive never visited a TR that was this bad. The waiter completely forgot to take my order. He took my wifes order, then walked away. I had to call him back to take my order. We both ordered the 16oz prime rib. 1 was 16oz & the other was closer to 8oz. 2 totally different sizes. I sent it back. I asked for it to be cooked medium. They brought it med.well. I sent it back again. The 3rd time, they got it right. I asked for sugar instead of salt around my margarita glass. They sent it with salt. The fries that came with my entree may as well been potato chips. The gave me all the little pieces from the bottom of the bag. This particular Texas Roadhouse, I will never go back to.

Soooo.....how many indoor crickets are too many? I know it is the season of the crickets but during one meal a party of 5 had crickets crawling on their food, selves and table no less than 10 times. No lie. Not to mention all the close call from the crickets torpedoing by. They were literally like birds flying around in there. You would here a random scream from the surrounding tables under attack about every 3 minutes. At some point the manager came by and made a table touch asking us if everything is okay and acknowledging the problem. I think the time has come to call an exterminator...like yesterday. Rolls were a little under cooked. Other than the unwanted extra protein joining our table, the overall food was okay. I definitely will be having nightmares and still feel like something is crawling on me....crunch. ***Update: Texas Roadhouse was very quick to reach out to me and apologize for the experience that we had there. They acknowledged the problem and assured me that they are taking extra measures to get the crickets under control. We love eating there and will be back

My family and I ate here for dinner yesterday and we had horrible service. I understand there are times that are busier than others but that does not me we should be ignored. Once the host sat us we did not get attended for 15 minutes so we asked who are server is. We where told his name is Mason and that she would go find him. Well Mason did not come instead it was Jen who was aggressive (for lack of a better word) and acted bothered she had to help out with Mason. Eventually we got our drinks and ordered after about a 25 minute wait. Then we finally met Mason who never apologized or made eye contact the rest of the time. Mason soon forgot about us again and our food was brough by someone else who said they would bring out one of our sides in a bit. We ate and had to go find our own sauces at the stand in the middle of the restaurant because our server was no where to be seen. Also we waited and the other side never came out so eventually someone came by and we told them about the missing side and wanting to just take it to go. We eventually got the side and paid on the machine at the table because once again Mason nor Jen came back. Most Roadhouse locations have great service and managers who come by and check on guests. This was my first experience where a manager never came to check on us. We are highly disappointed in this location.

They do not honor their large party reservations. We spoke with the large party coordinator and confirmed a party of 8 for 6pm. They called us 5min before 6pm three times, we missed the call because we were driving. However we texted our arrival at 6pm, and answered when they called at 6pm only to be told they gave our table away. If at 4:45 we sign up for 6pm and are texted the wait for our party is 1hr16min - 1hr30min, and we arrive at that time, why would the table be given away? Parties above 6: don t bother wasting your time arranging anything with them, they don t care to honor their agreement and would have you wait another hour upon arrival. Ridiculous.

They used to be great. Not sure what happened. Bowl of chili that was supposed to come before came after and was cold. Had to ask for the drink and got it after dinner had been served despite ordering it as the very first thing we ordered. Looks like they decreased the amount of rattlesnake bites served in the appetizer. Ordered a medium filet and got it literally rare. Sent it back and got it back medium rare with part of it still rare. There were a few other issues also. They gave a discount without asking for it, but we didnt go there for a discount. New visit: Server didnt put my order in until we finally flagged him down 40 minutes later. New visit: Did call ahead seating. Received the first text and the post here text. Hostess was seating people who had just parked. Had to go in, tell them, then got set. Hostess had a surly attitude. Seeing a pattern here.

A lot has changed. The waiting to be seated was okay.. its understandable, restaurant gets packed, people have to wait. Service, was really bad. The timing on the food. We got our food cold. I had a ft worth ribeye, all fat. My fathers plate was cold. The rest of my plate was mild cold. I asked for medium, I got rare. Only two rounds of drink service. to pay for the food was long. It took for us to decide to pay with the kiosk and leave just like that. The location in Grand prairie is wayyyyy better and worth the drive.

It was a party of 14 and on a Sunday so I was going to cut them waitresses and the whole place some slack but no. We waited hours for the food to get delivered. And on top of that, we had to ASK for some bread because the server never gave us any. We didn t even get utensils. Had to ask for some when our food was delivered. The whole experience was such a let down, and I will not be going back no time soon. Texss Roadhouse do better. Have more employees scheduled on a busy Sunday and have some damn organization.

Vegetarian options: If you dont have them, I can assure you that they will be able to make something that you can enjoy and like at the moment, just ask for it. Dietary restrictions: Yes there is. Parking: Im going to be honest, as it is a highly visited place, if you go during peak hours, you may only have to be a little far from the restaurant, but there are enough places to park. We came to enjoy a meal with my parents. The staff was friendly and service from JD was a pleasure. Among us, we enjoyed the fried pickles, a couple different steaks, chicken and salmon. The place was packed for a Thursday, but I sat at the bar. Rosa and Hunter were behind the bar and they were the best! Friendly and very courteous as well as attentive. The food came out pretty quickly, had the prime rib with mashed potatoes and green beans. Steak was cooked to what I ordered and super delicious. It was a really busy Friday night. We used the online table app and was seated upon arrival. From the hostess to our waitress Deyci, this was the friendliest team. My medium rare steak had a nice caramelized char, was perfectly rested and tender. No steak sauce needed on these steaks! And Jewell mixes up a great margarita. My only negative was that my sweet potato was drowning in butter. Ive ate a number of times at the Sherman location and this is my second visit here. Gotta say, Ive never been served a bad steak at either location, theyve always been perfect. And, the prices are very reasonable. Winner Winner steak for dinner!

My Birthday celebration. I was treated to a good time and good food. I mistakenly left half of my Prime Rib on the table as I went to put my Granddaughter in her car seat first. Realizing that I had left it on the table in a too-go bag, I hurriedly rushed back inside to my table only to find that the table had already been cleared for the next guest. There was a thirty five minute wait and a bunch of tables open asked why the wait and was told no servers. I should have known not good. Our server when seated was in fact good and prompt but asked to have the prime rib and was told they had none. People this is Fourth of July weekend how do you drop the ball on that. Who ever is responsible for ordering the food really needs a lesson on the importance of ordering enough or better yet checking on orders to make sure you are prepared for the crowd you are about to get hit with.

I went to Texas Road House about 4pm on a Friday. We had been looking forward to going for months with my mother. When we walked in we were greeted right away and sat pretty quickly. Unfortunately the table they sat us next to was having difficulties with their drinks and their waitress and were complaining the whole time we were there. I dont hold that against Texas Road House they were doing their best to help the table. But we noticed a smell. It was like we were in an auto mechanics shop. The smell was very strong and thats what basically ruined the day. I have not been to that particular Texas Road House before so dont know if that was the normal smell. The food came quickly the waitress forgot a couple little things but was pretty attentive. But I cant get myself to want to go back because of the smell. The steak house should smell like steaks and smoke and cooking, not a auto mechanic shop.

Not sure what has happened--I generally have great experiences at TR.,.but this was by far my worst experience dining out anywhere in many, many moons. I realize there was a sign apologizing for the smell. By the time I left, my head hurt and eyes burned. On top of that, the ambient noise made it impossible to hold a conversation at our 4 top. We had to repeat almost everything we said. We waited 15 minutes to get 3 waters and a tea, after waiting more than 5 minutes for our server to even greet us. Yes, I know Saturday nights are busy, but the tables around us, with a different server were taken care of efficiently and quickly. Our food arrived much later. One of our party didnt care for the taste of his food and when the manager finally stopped by she offered to get him something else. We had already waited so long for round one we just said he wouldnt eat it. It took the server 10 minutes to bring our check and it had an added beverage on it. We waited.and waited. And waited for her to come back, but I had to go find her. Then it took 10 minutes for her to take the one item off and give us an updated check. About halfway through our experience I 9bserved the manager and a server standing and talking near the register stand. At that point the restaurant was hopping-- it would have been better if the manager had been serving customers by refilling beverages or helping overworked servers. I will not return to this location. It used to be a favorite.

My husband and I have been going to this location 5x year for the past 10 years and NEVER NEVER been treated the way we were treated. My husband ordered a beer like he has for the past 10 yrs. and never has he been asked for an ID. The young lady asked him for it and he only had his out of state ID and she made a comment that they only accepted US identifications. This made us feel some kind of way. We will possibly look into going somewhere else instead of this place.

Ordered sweet tea, we received unsweetened tea. The half rack of ribs were dry and hard.The bones were actually burnt. I forced my husband to eat them at home. The quality of food has gone down drastically. Military discount is no longer for the entire bill, just the veteran. Thats a first. I wont be back to this one

If I could I would give them nothing...this was my first time here, I came alone. So I finally get a table and they seat me. After I place my order I get up to go to restroom, only to come back and find that they had given a party of 2 my table...remind you my things was sitting on the table and everything. So I approach the manager about...and in terms tell me, (when its only one party and they get up they loose they table). So you to tell me, I cant even use the restroom while visiting this attablishment without the risk of loosing my table? Thats how much respect you have for one party huh? I just walked out! I will never come back again

Noel was my first server, and his attentiveness and professionalism truly stood out. Noel s extensive knowledge of the menu and his keen attention to detail made for an exemplary dining experience. He epitomizes Texas Roadhouses motto, Legendary Food & Legendary Service. Noel s dedication to his role and commitment to providing top-notch service is genuinely commendable. Payton is another server who left a lasting impression on me and my family. Her personable and super-friendly demeanor made our dining experience even more enjoyable. The first time I noticed Payton, she warmly wished us an awesome night after our meal, a gesture that showcased her genuine care for guests. The second time, when she noticed my discomfort at a booth, she promptly took action, guiding me to the host stand and ensuring I got a more comfortable table. Despite not being my server that evening, she checked on me throughout the night, demonstrating exceptional customer service. Ray Ann also deserves recognition for her exceptional service.
