I come here all the time, first bad experience. Young dark Spanish guy took my order, tried to steal from me by giving himself a tip on my card and when I called him out tried to say the machine made him take a tip. Took forever to get my food, and when I asked for salsa he left for 10 minutes and acted like he forgot when I asked again. Luckily this is the first time Ive seen this guy or I would never come back. Update: and the food is ice cold.i expect management to reach out and refund me because Im not going to deal with this guy again.

Genuinely some of the best fajitas and red salsa I ve had in the area. Beef melts in your mouth, the salsa is an incredible balance of heat and flavor, and the service was downright excellent. Come here if you want a homey, relaxed experience and staff that know their menu like the back of their hand. I was genuinely impressed with our servers knowledge of the menu and recommendations. If you re ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping in.

Just don t! This was our first meal arriving to Texas after a long day of traveling. The served acted like he was completely annoyed we were there. I wish we would have just turned around and walked out after the awkward greeting we received. . We had to ask for chips and when we finally got them, they were VERY stale and hard. We ate them anyways because everyone was so hungry. We got one small half filled basket for a table of 6 adults and another small half filled one for a table of 5 older kids. When we asked for more, the next ones were visibly burnt but somehow tasted better than the first ones. Again, we ate them because we were starving. The only good thing about the entire meal was the salsa. My dish, the enchiladas were horrific. It should have been VERY obvious there was an issue because none of us ate our food. None of our kids were able to eat their meals because they were just gross. My step mom didn t even receive her Gordita until everyone that could eat their meals was done. The only thing edible on my plate was the small pile of lettuce and sour cream. The beans and rice were gross as well. I had to make food when we got to our bnb. We eat at Mexican restaurants a lot because it is our favorite. This experience was horrible. The server was horrible and most importantly the food was terrible. Just do not go here!!!! Kid-friendliness: I am not sure if the waiter was annoyed we had kids with us or just mad he had to work on Monday but he was not pleasant at all from the moment we entered.

Used to love this place and today I wanted to give it a 5 star, but started out with cold coffee, then they pushed their potatoes like they were exceptional, got 6 plain potatoes. Eggs were cold, waited too long for food, only good thing was hot fresh torts. Won t be back, sorry guys

The restaurant is a hole in the wall its a quaint little rustic restaurant. The servers are attentive but the my order of barbacoa a la Mexicana came incorrectly with bistek instead. They fixed the issue immediately no questions asked. The tortillas are hand made and the food was hot and delicious with great portion sizes. I may come again when Im in the Conroe area. I have to find another restaurant. I ordered and paid for my order to go. After waiting 10 minutes,I was told it was going to be an additional 30 - 35 minute wait and to wait in my car and they will bring it to me . He said they take care of the customers that are eating in the place first. I said to him ok , and that he should give me chips and salsa for my wait . He said he would put them with my to go order. So ,I waiting additional 28 minutes . When he gave me my order, I reminded him about the chips and salsa . He said they dont have chips and salsa to go . I dont understand why he would LIE like that. I know they do because Ive got them to go before . I guess it doesnt matter to them since Im just one customer I will not return to this place !!

The waiter was very rude, during breakfast we asked him for a burrito and he told us that they didnt have meat. So I ordered some chilaquiles and asked for a bolillo to eat my chilaquiles and they refused even though they did have cakes to sell. Immediately afterwards another of my friends ordered a tongue taco and yes there was one! Even though they originally said they didnt have meat.

The best breakfast tacos around - homemade tortillas, generous amount of eggs, white melty cheese, and excellent fresh salsa. However the wait time is too long for a busy morning, it s always at least 15 minutes or 30-40 minutes if they have larger orders. The server who probably is the owners relative always looks like she doesn t want to be there and comes up only to take your order and bring food out. I get frustrated with the service but go back on weekends inly for good tacos.

I would easily give this place 4 stars on any given day but this morning I m not able to do that. I was promptly seated and served coffee. But soon after that, the family sitting in the booth behind me would not control their child as he threw a toy car around the dining room and constantly acted out loudly, as many children do. I eventually got up and moved, but it wasn t enough. And to add insult to injury, it took a very long time for my huevos rancheros to arrive at my table. Once my food arrived, I was a bit irritated. Plus my huevos rancheros was just satisfactory. I ve had better. The staff is nice but not very attentive. I ll be back because this place has awesome tacos. And I m sure there are other menu items that are just as good. After my next trip here, I m betting I raise my rating to at least 4 stars.

It is a little hole in the wall Mexican restaurant that you would drive by 100 time before you ever see it. I was referred by my barber as the best tacos and I will say not a disappointment. While not much to look at the service was ok but the fresh tortillas, the salsa, the pork and beef, OMG. After 11 years in Texas I have found the best tacos. $3.00 a taco and 2 filled me up and I am not a small man. If you enjoy authentic cuisine and love finding these little places you will not be disappointed. If you are expecting a little more prime and proper experience like a local chain, just drive by and let us just enjoy the food.

Food at this place is great but as others have mentioned their service lacks from making you want to come back. The other thing that makes me give this a two star is last time I checked if a customer wants more salsa typically you give them more. However I couldn t even buy more and was just told that the two containers totaling 6 oz should be enough. Waited 20 minutes for 3 tacos, with no one else ahead of me; and waiting 5 minutes before being acknowledged at the counter Edit* 3 days later waited 40 minutes for tacos as i watched her take and fulfill other orders ahead of mine; i dont think Ive ever had a visit that didnt result in un justifiable waiting and disregard

La Palma #2 has the absolute best beef fajita tacos that I ve ever had. I m from here & travel for work & know where the best eating joints are at. And another thing. Their chips are not the crumbly type that most places have. These are the crispy ones. Again. The absolute best beef fajita tacos.

Ive eaten here twice and I love the food and service. Im pregnant atm and had a strong craving for Mexican hot chocolate. They werent serving it just yet. But the lady who works the register understood the pregnancy craving, asked her mother-in-law if she could make me some special, and she did (quite happily I might add). And it was some of the best Mexican hot chocolate Ive had in years! She doesnt just throw in a bar of La Abuelita, no. She put extra stuff in there and it was AMAZING! I even brought some for my co-worker and, duuude, we couldnt stop talking about it! Good service, great staff, good food, good chocolate! Lol

Girl in front was rude. Never came back to my table to check if I needed anything or refill my drink. Customer next to me asked if he could have some chips and salsa and she replied we are barely making some as shes walking away. Tacos were good. 1 star because bad service and no chips and salsa at lunch time.
