Food looked so good I failed to get pictures before I started eating. Everyone was so nice. Good prices for fresh and great sized portions. They even have catering and the set ups look amazing! I tried the loaded fries, cheese was delicious, steak was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Chicken tacos were also great.

Listen...this was the best menudo Ive ever had in my life. Ive from El Paso, TX where the abuelitas cook better than any restaurant so again listen . This is the most flavorful menudo broth. They take the seeds out of the pods as they make this wonderfully spiced broth but their salsa roja adds the spice I needed to add depth and spark to the flavors in my mouth. The broth has a mexican umami that dances in your mouth and the tripe is cleaned and cooked to perfection. The tortillas were fresh and amazing. Im in awe and ready to try other delicacies on this menu. The pastries were also amazing. This is a hidden gem in Dallas. I also want to mention that the broth was warm after a 30 min drive. The staff is very kind. Ive found a new favorite and Im glad to highlight their excellence in Mexican cuisine. Take the trip across town and experience their food. You wont regret it!

So I have been driving all over DFW looking for the best birria tacos. Little did I know that the best birria tacos would be literally 5 mins up the street from me! I stumbled upon this place online reading reviews before I visit a new place and was excited about the raving reviews. When I came in, everyone was so nice and helpful. My food was super hot and ready pretty quickly. When I came out to my car, I took one bite and immediately walked back in to let them know they did their thing! BEST BIRRIA TACOS EVER! The shells were super crunchy, the meat was extra juicy, and comsomé was hella flavorful! This will be the only place I come to for my taco fix from now on and thankfully they are right in my backyard! I m going again today to make sure I didn t just catch them on a good day.

First-time visitor. I ordered menudo, pozole, and lengua tacos. All I can say is I hate I live all the way in Lancaster. The mendo is one of the best I have ever had and I eat menudo faithfully. We ate here for lunch. We ordered the loaded fries with pastor, extra guacamole, and cucumber mint Fresca. The pastor has pineapples in it so the combination of sweet, spicy & cheesy was the perfect balance. We will be back for more. Thanks Juan for the recommendation. I would give 100 stars if I could. Delicious always we come here at least 1x a week. The food is always fresh, hot and delicious. Never disappointed with the food or service. Today we ask the owners if they can cook something healthy for us. Since we cant eat meat, carbs or nothing with grease. I absolutely adore this local hole in the wall in Mesquite. I have been a regular customer for 2 years now, and have always been nothing shy of amazed! Carne asada tacos were okay, what got me was the one piece of napkin my fiancé and I were given, the one thin slice of lime, literally was paper thin. We ordered 4 tacos and the 2 salsas we were given were not enough for 4, the cup was tiny couldve filled it to the top but it was not even half way ridiculous. The service is amazing. Very hospitable staff. A lot of places are missing that and it makes a difference! We felt welcome and will return. The barbacoa could improve as it tasted like brisket. Having pastor and trompo seemed redundant but the piña in the pastor was lovely. Their fish taco was the highlight as well as their homemade aguas frescas.

Been here many times for their lunch/dinner menu but, today we tried their new breakfast menu and I must say they do not disappoint. What you see in the picture is an al pastor omelette with potatoes it also comes with side of pancakes or toast I opted for the toast. I personally have never heard of an al pastor omelette and lucky for me I wanted to try something different and I must say it was the best breakfast decision I have ever made. I can honestly say this is my new go to breakfast not just go to omelette but go to breakfast spot. It has red and green bell peppers, onions, thinly sliced marinated pork and cheese wrapped in a fluffy egg omelette lightly drizzled with sour cream. The potatoes were perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. The toast was thick cut buttered and toasted to perfection. I had a cup of coffee which they make themselves and very flavorful it has a hint of cinnamon, highly recommend!

My wife had been craving Flautas and I can always go for a good Torta and La Salsa Loca reallly hit the spot. The food was great, but the real star here is the staff. When we arrived, all of the four top tables were occupied. We crowded around a bar height two seater with our two girls after placing our order. Once a table opened up they bussed it quickly to make room for us. They were apologetic even though it was out of their control and even offered us a free desert for our trouble. We were all too full from the excellent meal, but I was impressed by how important it was to them that we were happy. We will definitely be back.

This place has yummy authentic homemade chicken flauntas that are to die for, so so good! Their Pastor, and Trompo tacos are really good just need to try it with flour tortillas instead! The worst Tex-Mex I have ever had and Im Mexican. I paid too much for this food to be this nasty. ($40) It was a slow Thursday and no one was there. First time at La Salsa Loca Tacos, it was great! I ordered the chicken nachos and asked if they could add lettuce to them. They were so good! The cheese they use is different, very creamy. My husband ordered the quesabirria. Its just a regular quesadilla with broth. He really liked it. Well definitely come back to try other items in their menu (tacos for sure)

Nothing is perfect, but this place comes very close. Excellent service, food, and atmosphere. As with all restaurants, could use less salt. All the food and homemade horchata is great. Was a little warm inside last time, especially after the salsa made my allergies act up :) This place also does special requests like Sautees onions, jalepenos, etc. Keep up the good work!

The food in this place has the same flavor as the food in Mexico. We always try different dishes and none of them have disappointed me. One of my favorites are chilaquiles! And the super friendly workers. Definitely a place to recommend.

My friend and I walked in here the first time, and we were already impressed with the cleanliness and the decorations. The staff immediately greeted us with a smile and showed us this beautiful menu to chose from. We ordered and received our food very quickly and it was fresh. All of them checked on us asking how are we liking our food and was friendly and kind. Definitely will be coming back the food is amazing and the staff definitely make you feel like your at a home eating they re all so sweet!

I would like to give them 5 stars since it is delicious food and a clean place. But the service of the owners children gives me the truth that I dont even want to go! Very dissatisfied, the truth is I feel that if you are already a frequent customer there they should be treated well. I hope they change their attitude with one.

Ive only had the tacos but they are definitely my favorite in the Mesquite area! I have been 3 times within the past 2 weeks and they dont disappoint. The service is always outstanding, and the tacos are flavorful. The meat is chopped finely and is so tender. They also have so many salsas to choose from. This is definitely going to be a regular spot for my family and I.

Expensive for the quality of food. The fries had no flavor. They were soggy and old. The salsa wasnt even spicy. My wife ordered a quesadilla with chicken which she paid extra money for the chicken and they didnt even add it. Ill think twice before coming here again.

I was disappointed tonight that my girlfriend made hot dogs for dinner. Ive had a long at work and didn t want to eat that for dinner. And then I put tacos in the google search and booom this place popped up. Gave it a chance and i had the tacos de trompo, barbacoa, caveza , and lengua and booooooiiiiii they hit the spot!!!!! They also sell mojarras fritas!!! Will be coming again pretty soon!

Ok family, can I have your attention please???... WHAT A TASTY PLACE!!! With my wife and two children we went yesterday looking for something new and good... and well we found it, the food is fresh, 95% made there, recommended, you feel that family atmosphere and that unique flavor (tasty? Rich? Delicious? Yummy?) Whatever you want to call it. My respects to those sauces they make too. They were spoiled so good. My wife and I want to continue trying that menu they have. (We live in Forney and believe me, those dishes are worth it), believe the surveys, the place has quite a few good reviews and we are happy to add one more :)

Excellent little restaurant to get a bite to eat! Its a small place, but nice and clean and the staff is very nice. Ive so far had their street tacos and theyre really good! Most recently, I had their quesabirrias and they are amazing!!! Would love to go for another round but still there is more to try!

I ordered 3 tacos; Tromopo, chicken, barbacoa, Honestly the barbacoa was my favorite!!!! They offer lime, onion, cilantro with the tacos.. don t forget the salsa!! The green salsa was amazing with my 3 tacos. Come check them out if you live in mesquite, close by Town East Mall !!

This restaurant is in Mesquite TX outside of Dallas. It is really worth the drive. Its a small family owned business. Theyre from Guadalajara and make everything from scratch.. no canned anything. They roast their own tomatoes, jalapeños and chilies to make their salsas daily. They have the most incredible coffee- their own blend of 3 coffees, cinnamon, and a hint of caramel. The meats they use are extremely high quality. This place impresses. The decor was inspired by the grandmothers house. I dont often rave about restaurants but this one is worthy!!! The torta, pozole, and tacos are to die for!!
