My wife and I come to Mesquite El Pueblito every time we are in the area. They prepare THE BEST beef broth! The owner and her sister make this business and her other locations so warm and welcoming! Amazing and delicious food! Im a gringo and THIS is one of the BEST Mexican foods along with my wifes food.

Súper clean restaurant to come enjoy some good Mexican food. I ordered sopes and they are delicious. They are all super nice and fast at their job. Food is amazing. They gave me a sample of the menudo and will definitely have to come back to buy a big one.

I originally visited the location off east grand. Then I found this location that is 10 min closer. The breakfeast huevos rancheros are authentic . Delicious and customer service is always so good. Nice little place. Tamales are pretty good also! Parking: A little limited on parking spots

I ordered 3 gorditas and 2 came out with very dry tortillas. They were difficult to eat and I only took 2 bites of the 2 that were left that were made of cactus and chicharron. I ate the whole one as always when I order here. But I left the other 2 without eating, I just gave them 2 bites; The waitress accused me of not knowing what I was ordering even without knowing that I had already ordered nopales and chicarron from here several times. I didnt pay them the 2 gordita and it seems that they lack better customer service. The waitresses are very dry with people who look or talk like they are from here. Treat everyone equally and with kindness.

The tortillas are not made by hand, they come very pressed, then you can tell that they are made by machine, they have the same flavor as the tortillas from the bag, and then they stiffen, it is a lie that they are made by hand and they use factory-made dough, they dont knead it. There, do not offer something that you do not sell because that is a scam. First and last time I buy tortillas there. Not recommended, rightly they give them cheap

Best authentic Mexican food in area. Friendly staff and food comes with all the toppings. I forgot BYOB last time. Main sign needs more lighting at night, but inside is spacious and nice. Birria quesadillas with dipping sauce is so good, and the red pozole. You can get thicker homemade tortillas also. They can make any traditional mexican dish if you ask, I will try echiladas Michoacanas/Mineras next time.

Ordered tacos for taco Tuesday and they were not that great . Tortillas to greasy and chicken was so hard I almost broke my tooth , fajita was to much pieces of fat instead of meat, I did order chilaquiles and those were Delicious . The horchata was okay too. Bad service, we were not offered chips or drinks when we first sat down the waitress was more interested in taking our order, when we did get our drinks they were in a can and she didnt even offer us any cups of ice. Maybe its because we were white, I did notice she was more talkative to the hispanic couple next to us, they were out of fajitas and lengua at the time. Food was bland, place felt dirty. Tables were sticky. Waitress was just weird I dont know if its because im white and my wife is hispanic or what it was, we felt like we were not wanted there.

Waited for about 10 min for my food while the rest of the table had theirs. Food arrived cold with missing ingredients (ordered enchiladas michoacanas) were missing the potatoes and carrots as stated on the menu. The chicken also looked old and over cooked. Told the waitress, she took the plate back. Came back with microwaved plate still missing ingredients. I gave up at that point as most of my family was done eating and asked to just remove off tab and take the plate back.
