I could probably get over the hair I found in the salsa and the foil wrapper I found in my bfs food if the food tasted better. EDIT: I originally posted this a year and a half to 2 years ago. The food is delicious today. Not sure if there is a new cook, but it was good.

I come here every other weekend or so. I ve tried a variety of meals & my favorite dishes were the chilaquiles & the menudo. Even though I went to eat out at this place I felt like I was at home, everything tastes like it does at home.

Food was ok but service not so good, We had asked for a cup to take our left over tea since it took awhile for a refill, we had to go ask since they didnt come around, was shocked that they added 50 cents to our bill for the to go cups. 1st time this has happened at a restaurant, was not even told that when asking for a cup. Will not be going back, bad customer service, getting nickled and dimed is not cool. 3 customers not going back.

Its a little warm. Perhaps they need to adjust the air conditioner temperature? The food was good, portions were a little small. Service was good, if a little sparse. Update place needs an update and deep clean

Being from New Mexico, I sought authentic Mexican food. This is the closest thing to home cooking I have been able to find. Definitely a hidden gem that doesn t get the attention they deserve. Speaking with the owner they cook everything fresh made to order and don t sacrifice on quality. They DO have an ordering system that might take some time especially if they re busy but honestly worth the wait 100%. Food 100% staff 100%

Got a really affordable 3 enchilada plate, added an extra cheese enchilada to round out the meats and they were all really good. The sauce, the filling, honestly best refried beans Ive had in a loooong time with like a smokey chipotle flavor to them? Anyway it was only $13 bucks, definitely coming back to sit down and enjoy a meal

Love this place! The food is delicious and the prices are low. The chips and salsa they bring out is the best. Fresh chips and the salsa is not too hot, with lots of flavor. I really enjoyed seeing the tortillas made fresh right in front of me, and then getting to enjoy those fresh tortillas with my meal. Great staff, atmosphere is calm and relaxed, a great experience.

Waited for 40 min just to order our food. We noticed a blurb in their menu stating that after 11am, there is an automatic up charge on all their plates. Jokingly, we thought they would wait until after 11 to finally take our order, but that joke became a reality. 11:01am, the waitress finally came and received our order. She was no regular staff member. She was obviously a veteran at the establishment who knew exactly what they were doing. It s disappointing to have a local spot be ruined by GREEDY business practices. Their GREED left us waiting at a table, wasting our time on subpar food, and bottom feeding service.

This place is so good, I am not sure why we dont eat there more.. but the service is great, they have even added live music, which is better to me that just having the TV on, makes you talk to your dinning partner.. The hot suase is just how I like it thick, and the chips are always fresh. The food was good. Everything had plenty of seasoning and the churros were amazing. Nice atmosphere with the owner on site. I was driving through and I make 3 or 4 yearly trips to this area. This will be my go-to Mexican food restaurant. The tamales and fajitas were especially tasty.

Comida Casera Bien Rica! Authentic homestyle Mexican food. So delicious. The chilaquiles my relative had looked amazing. I had the Mexicanisimo plate. Nopales, Eggs & Chorizo, served with refried beans. Very good!! The whole family enjoyed their meals. Service was great as well. Highly recommend! Kid-friendliness: They have dishes/sides for kids and high chairs if needed.

I was here with my mother and tias (aunts) and had dinner. I have been here a few times before and has been decent food. Well, it was horrible this time. The fajitas were OK. The rice,beans and tortillas were cold. I was pissed to a higher level and my mother asked me not to me a seen. With the high cost of going out to eat nowadays you would think the food quality would be just as high. I will say the hot sauce was good, the server was OK, the owners only speak to certain people or say hello. Im sure there are several people who enjoy this place, Ill never return, and Im sure theyll never know why.

Last week Me and my mother ate breakfast there for our first time. I had the Dos Panchas plate. It was delicious! We loved it! It reminded me of my grandma s cooking. Also very affordable. First visit was the last visit. Every aspect was terrible. No one greeted us. We were seated after 10 mins (still no greeting ir apology). We were not given menus. Had to wait to get menus. Had to wait to have our drink order taken. Waited almost 10 mins to get our drinks and chips. I had to stop a lady to ask if someone was going to take our order, which she did. Waited 15 mins to get our food. My daughter asked if it was worth the poor service we had received thus far absolutely not. It was edible but not good. Went to the register with no ticket because we apparently had no server. This was an awful experience.

This place serves great breakfast I often go 2-3 times a week but today oh boy today was not what I expected from the minute I got their waited to be seated. they took my drink order and I saw how other who arrive after me got their drinks and me nothing waiter came over I asked her for my drinks and 30 min later they finally bring my drinks and left. This is our first and LAST time we will eat at this restaurant. Service was terrible, we almost walked out after getting our tea. From the time we got our tea, it took them 15 minutes to come back and take our order. Now mind you this was at 2:30 pm in the afternoon on Friday 9/15/22. They were not busy at all. This place has the worst service Ive seen in a very long time. I will not exaggerate. Six of us waited over 10 minutes at the door. We were totally ignored. Finally three different people asked us how many. Another 5 minutes passed. Plenty of tables. No one waiting except us. Staff just walking around. Seated. Two different people took our drink order after we waited another 5+minutes. Finally our order was taken. We told the two different wait staff staff, 3 tickets. Asked for tickets halfway through the meal. As expected, 1 ticket came. We asked why all on one ticket. Answer: you didnt ask for multiple tickets. What a frikken mess. Ticket made no sense. Waitress didnt write down order when it was given. Food was okay. Service was horrible. I strongly recommend that you do not eat at this place. Did I mention the service was horrible? If I could give a 1/2 star, or less, I would. New place down the street. Go there.

This place definitely has good slow home cook Mexican food. Do not expect fast food.... It is well worth the wait. Ive had several dishes there and never been disappointed. Definitely check it out! Vegetarian options: Several cheese, and spinach/sour cream options. Kid-friendliness: My kids love it here!
