My mom and I went here for lunch one day, it was such a nice experience. I ordered the Chicken Palak and my mom got the Chicken Tikka Masala, both were really good, but the Naan and Tikka Masala was absolutely amazing. I would come here anyday for some awesome comfort food. The server was super sweet and attentive, Im so glad my mom took me here

The food here is exemplary; we had lunch and ordered the chicken and beef curries and the chicken tikka masala. All good but the beef curry was exceptional. Each is a combo meal (with naan and basmati rice included). Great value and great food. If you need atmosphere you will need your order to go. We saw lots of take out orders going out the door as we had our lunch.

The Curry Leaf was highly recommended by a friend of mine who was born and raised in India. I ordered food for 100 people. My request was for food, not to be Spicy hot. The food was prepared and ready at the time promised. We fed 100 and still had leftovers so the portions were generous. I received many compliments about the food from guests at our event and I certainly enjoyed my meal. The yogurt salad, butter chicken, and tandoori chicken, were excellent. The next Indian food meal that I want to host I will definitely be going to the Curry Leaf.

I love Indian food & I eat a lot of it. Paneer Tikka Masala is my usual order as I am vegetarian. The dish was absolutely COVERED with cilantro, which tastes like soap to me. I have never this dish served with so much cilantro! I realize the re is some in the sauce (I can handle it in small amounts). They refused to remake it. Plus the two ladies that work there were rude as hell!! Also, there was a young male child that had his iPad turned at maximum volume watching some violent programming about people getting killed and screaming. Horrible horrible horrible! Don t go there! It s awful!

We stopped on our way to Oklahoma from Texas. The food was amazing and authentic! Fish curry , egg curry and Paratas were really yummy! You have to stop here and get some yummy Indian food. They have a good selection of Indian snacks as well!

I am so happy to find such a great and tasty Indian restaurant in Dallas. The service is so nice, waitress checked on us multiple times. The chef came to make sure we were okay. The food was amazing. We called to place an order from here twice in one day because we had some family in town and wanted to serve them some authentic south Indian food! Our guests and us were very satisfied. The person who answered the phone was very patient and nice even though we tried to change our order multiple times because of personal reasons. This is a great hole-in-the-wall family place. It does seem geared to people more familiar with Indian Cuisine, but they happily answered any questions. My Chicken Curry was delicious, although it did have a fair amount of bones, so dont get overzealous when chomping! My mother definitely enjoyed her roast beef. Accommodations and cutlery are very basic, but the food and price are great!

I have purchased banana fry and vettu cake from the store last day. Both were not consumables as it was pretty cold and smelly. It seems they used the oil which was used to make other dishes the the leftover was used to make those snacks. Pathetic and was forced to dump it to wastebin. This place is really great and was very fresh, I got the chicken curry meal with rice and porotta and it came out so warm and perfect! I would definitely eat here again, the service is very friendly and she will talk you through any questions you might have regarding the food. I love Indian food but Im not super knowledgeable a lot of the time haha The only thing I wish I knew ahead of time was about bones in the Curry, Ive had chicken curry before but they made it without bones, I googled it and its supposed to be far more important to the flavor than I ever knew! Which is why my Curry tasted so amazing, but it definitely took me off guard at first and I was confused and it did happen to hurt my tooth a little haha I would order this again though, even knowing now about the bones and why its important. I think itd be smart to tell people about it though, it is a choking hazard for some of us who are ignorant.. or maybe add two options one made with bone and one without?! Im not here to tell you how to run anything, just a thought. Ill definitely be back because it was incredibly delicious!

I love curry and Indian food, but that was not good, to be honest when I walked and sat down the food on the menu looked good but when I asked for water they just give u a little water bottle when I got my food I expect a plate of food but they gave a paper plate and they served me some chicken curry I love curry but this was not great curry it tasted ok but generic places taste way better The worst part was the bones were still in the chicken. idk if thats usual, but I did not like that Just in general, if you want quick food, meh, but would not go out of my way for this place

My experience has always been great at this restaurant. The food and service is amazing. Its just a shame when customers show up 10 minutes before close and instead of getting their food to go, choose to dine in. This is incredibly inconsiderate to the staff. Food for thought...if you think you should call ahead to ask if its ok to show up 30 minutes before close of business and then actually show up 10 minutes before close to dine in, its not okay. Common sense. Please be considerate of others and dont be those kind of customers. The person preparing your meal isnt nameless or faceless. He has a life, a family, a home and a schedule, just like you. Consider that the next time you decide to walk in at 10 till close. If this offends you, then you are THAT customer. I visited The Curry Leaf on November 8th at 7:30 pm, with the restaurants closing time being 8 pm. We placed a dine-in order and were served our food promptly. However, our experience took a turn for the worse when the service person scolded us after we left the restaurant. While the food was decent in terms of taste and presentation, the unprofessional behavior of the service person left a sour taste in our mouths. Its disheartening to be treated so poorly as customers. I would hope that The Curry Leaf can work on improving their customer service and handling such situations more courteously in the future. Based on this experience, I hesitate to recommend or revisit the restaurant.

I found this restaurant when searching for another business nearby. The Tikka masala and the curries are very tasty and delicious. The service is always great. The servers are always helpful and patient. We asked to try(buy) their desert and they let us try it for free. Theyre restaurant may not look like an upscale restaurant but their food definitely tastes like youre dining at one. Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs or steps. Wheelchair friendly.

Ordered a chicken tikka masala combo meal. On the website it said it came with naan and Porotta. I also ordered mango lassi. Got to the car and realized I had no mango lassi so I went back in and asked for it. After I ate I called about the porotta, and was told you have to choose naan or porotta, which I didn t know as it was my first time there. The mango drink wasn t cold, and the chicken was the texture of a chicken patty on a fast food sandwich; kind of rubbery like it had been frozen, with chunks of fat hanging from it. I will not eat there again.

Smells amazing before you even walk in the door. Everything that we ordered was absolutely delicious: samosas, chicken tikka combo, palak goat combo, masala dosa, and paneer masala dosa. Super fluffy naan and perfectly spiced rice. Our waitress recommended we try the dosa, which we had never had before, and it was wonderful. It was quite large and was great as a shared appetizer/side dish, but could be enjoyed as am individual meal (especially the masala dosa, it has so much filling!). We will definitely order again and plan to make this our go-to spot when we are craving Indian food! Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian, seemed highly likely there were vegan options too but didnt confirm. Parking: In front of restaurant, easy to get princess parking on a weeknight. Not sure on weekend but seems like there would be enough most of the time.

This place is definitely hole-in-the-wall place serving awesomeness!! I was just passing through Dallas and decided to swing by for some good dosa and curry - I know, but hey, it was around 11am, so decided to have breakfast and lunch. The coconut chutney was on point, had to ask for some more :). Each food item was exploding with flavors. Wish I lived closer, would be here all the time. Thank you, and please keep the flavors spicy and unique, do not water it down like most Indian restaurants do to cater to people with not-so gustatory palates. Goat curry and parota tasted delicious- would give more stars!!!

I visited this restaurant after visiting Dallas,Tx. To my pleasant surprise, the food was emmaculant! The chicken tikka misala curry was thick,flavorful, and not at all over whelming. To add some perspective, Ive traveled all over the country. Mostly Midwest and East Coast all the way up to New York for work. Ive been to a few restaurants...Sadly, The restaurant interior is pretty sub par. they dont have fountain drinks only cans and certain individual drinks. That aside, I did order a party size order during 4th of July weekend and fed over 40 plus people. Will definitely be going back!

Catered. You can tell the new ownership (as of two years ago) really cares about the food they cook and serve. Everything was exceptionally delicious. Try porotta and beef roast. Cant go wrong. On par with food in kerala. For our party, we ordered nadan meals and added porotta, beef roast, erisseri, and kilimeen fry. Everything was far beyond good. Im normally not a fan of payasam but their payasam was freaking good. People at the party complimented the food so much. Its a week later and Im still getting contacted about the food. Although far, we found our go to place. Note: this place specializes in kerala cusine. I havent tried their north Indian dishes so this review is specific to their kerala cuisine.

I am grateful for this spot close to Sunnyvale in Mesquite. This spit has been a favorite mine for years. I love the minute you walk in you are greeted with a warm smile by the owner of the place. He treated us so kindly and promptly. This is his business and he cooks everything fresh in the morning. I was able to try a new drink from Zyka brand called basil seed mango drink that day. It was recommended by the chef himself. This man cooks so good, my mouth waters everytime I go. I was able to place my order and receive it quickly under 10 minutes, I ordered a whole plate of Chicken Tikka Massala. They serve it in a paper plate with plastic cutlery. The mango Lassi is so incredible here, it tastes better than a mango smoothie . As for the variety of options, I loved that he has a lot of different meals, he even introduced me to shrimp Tikka Masala, never heard of it, but excited to try next time. My little girl and I were treated with such warmth and like family, thank you Curry Leaf. The owner came and checked on us several times to see if we were okay. The setup is simple yet clean and organized. This is the best in Mesquite hands down, no other place like this in Mesquite. Parking: Free parking with no assigned spots.

They may have fast service and polite people. But when they gave me samosa and i opened it...they gave me a samosa that does even look homemade. Like i recognize it from some indian shop when i bought a huge box of samosas from, this samosas looks just like the samosas in that box..im very upset. Someone should have warned me. This is the Veg Paneer combo from the menu (check photo). Unfortunately I don t see any single vegetable except peas. When I asked this is the veg paneer he said. To me it s mattar paneer curry. The food quality is cheap, food handling is cheap ( you can see they serve in a paper plate ) .. I don t recommend this to anyone unless you have no where to go.

I got my food to go, so I got to enjoy it at home. The Naan bread was more like pita bread, but it was all very delicious. I really enjoyed the Tikka Masala. Its probably the best one Ive had here in Texas so far. The prices are incredibly reasonable and I will be back! I highly recommend.
