Have been here multiple times, the food is always good. The service is always exceptional as well and has great value for the portions. It might not be the most upscale, but Ive never seen any bugs and the dishes are always clean, and sometimes thats all I need.

We had lunch at the diner today and we were both very pleasantly surprised. We both had the Philly Chresecake sandwich. Mine was with onion rings and my husband got fries. For the price, I believe all in all it was the best price around. We will definitely be back for more and very soon at that. Didnt even get a chance to rate the food. Open signs on. Its 7:45pm says closes at 9pm walked in with my family and they said they closed because it was a slow day.... ridiculous....disappointing. Just moved close by and was trying to find a new food spot.

My family came in not once but twice. Came in the first time. Short lady with black hair and too much eyeliner kept rolling her eyes looking at us very strange. She almost had an attitude for whatever reason. We overlooked it and enjoyed our lunch. Second visit. We walk in she looks at us the exact same way again. Looks completely annoyed and acts like we are bothering her to bring in our family. This is a holiday July 4th. We are excited to come dine in and this is the look we get. I politely told my family let s go. We walked out and again she stared like she was careless. I will never ever go back. If you don t like people of color you shouldn t be working in a restaurant, I ve never experienced racism in this manner and I will be taking this even further than just leaving a review.

Ok, I was over in Mesquite off I30 for my brother in-laws Dr Appt. He was gonna be there awhile. I did a fast google search and choose this location. Lets say this seems to be a hidden location. I was met at the front counter and Waitress said sit anywhere. Maybe 14 tables total. I ordered the Special Omelet with hash browns, biscuits and gravy and a side of avocado. All was very well prepared, avocado was fresh and seems like the biscuits were grilled some. Great Job, will be making more visits

This was my first time here (& it s my birthday ). I ve been living in Mesquite for quite sometime & never paid this place no mind! Plus, I ve never seen this place, ever! I love the homey vibes this place gives off once you open the doors. We immediately was greeted and were told to sit where we pleased and it was the best experience from there. Melly (Melli sorry if I butchered that, I forgot to ask how she spells her name) but anyways, she was awesome!! Super sweet, kind, calm, efficient, knowledgeable about the menu, talented (because I saw her taking care of her other tables, bussing tables, plus more she s awesome keep her !!), professional, full of manners and you can tell she loves her job. Her alone gets 10/10!! Hands down I would come back for the food, experience & Ms. Melly (Melli sorry again). Everything was fantastic. And of course, I didn t save proper pictures from Snapchat but go for yourself the food speaks for itself!! Parking: It s a small parking lot but it s worth it! The food is so good!! Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu, booster seats and high chairs.

Great food. I had the ribeye and eggs with home fries. My husband had the country fried steak eggs and hashbrowns. Both fresh delicious and cooked perfectly. Steak was well seasoned. Compliment to the cook. This was a Thursday morning. I would have given 5 stars but the service wasnt great. One person waiting Hosting and serving, as well as being the cashier. She wasnt in the best of moods. But I get it, she was probably frustrated as she had to play all rolls. Kudos to her for executing all rolls. She got a good tip anyway, she just needed help and I think her demeanor would have been more pleasant. Well be back to try other things on the menú.

You come in & seat yourself. Be prepared to wait a while as theres only 1 waitress. The place is way outdated but the food was decent. Needs salt/pepper to enhance the flavor. They charge extra for every little thing. Was charged $2 for extra onions. While this wouldnt be my first choice of a restaurant, it would be a place to go for a decent breakfast.

Only ate here due to proximity to where my truck was being worked on. The joint is old and needs to be updated badly! I ordered the avocado hamburger plate. I was asked if I wanted toast or a biscuit, so I asked if they made the biscuits, and she said no...toast then. The patty was overcooked and dry. One of my favorite for french toast and biscuits and gravy. I dont eat pork so I LOVE that the gravy doesnt have sausage in it. Love the ladies who help us out when we go. They work very hard to keep everything running smoothly. Ive rarely waited for a seat but its never too badly crowded. Cant beat the price for the portion. don t recommend going here. Bad service, took almost 45 minutes to get food for 2 people. Our waitress only can over twice to refill oir drinks and didn t ask us anything else. I wanted to try dessert but the last 30 minutes we were there she didn t come check on us on even though she was bringing the people behind us (group of 5) their food (which they only waited about 15-20 minutes for) While the food was hot it was not good. I got a side of broccoli and only got 2 peices, the toast had nothing on it. Just toast and I couldn t flag down anyone to ask for butter. Didn t even know that we had to go to the front to get our receipt and pay. Our waitress didn t seem like she wanted to be there and turns out I didn t either.

My first time here, I was hoping this would be the diamond in the rough moment. Sadly it wasnt, food was decent, prices are very reasonable but the wait staff is lacking customer service skills, attitude on tap. There is one stand out though, the young lady working the register, nice smile great attitude and listened to my concerns. The food and service were pretty good and what we expected (and hoped for) when selecting a diner. The bathrooms, mens and womens, were terrible. Pee somewhere else.

This diner has great food with generous portions. Food tasted great and was cooked fresh. The menu has thousand and one choices. They recently renovated the place and it looks good and has comfortable seating arrangement. Service is hurried so figure out exactly what you want, and fast. Food

My son went here to get me some, what I thought would be, a good home cooked breakfast. This was the worse breakfast ive had thusfore. French toast had a spoiled taste, pancakes tasted like cornbread, and hashbrowns were too smooshy to eat. I do not recommend.
