Paying an expensive price for an apartment that doesn t care if I have access to my car or not due to the negligence of being given one without a key hole for emergency access is annoying!!!!!! I have been voicing my opinion multiple times about being trapped outside of my garage day and night!!!! I m tired of making complaints about this!!!!!!! There s never a resolution a month free or anything for the inconvenience but they want us to pay for stuff that doesn t work. BASICALLY STEALING OUR MONEY FOR A SECURITY GATE FEE THAT DOESN T WORK AS WELL AS ME YOU PAYING A COMPLETE DIFFERENT PRICE TO HAVE MY OWN PRIVATE PARKING GARAGE THAT IVE HAD SO MANY ISSUES WITH .. THIS IS MY BREAKING POINT .. ALMOST MAKES ME WANT TO BREAK MY LEASE!!!!!!!!! I VE BEEN VERY NICE ABOUT IT BUT SINCE THE STORM CAME THROUGH I WAS TRAPPED AND HAD TO WALK TO THE STORES BECAUSE THEY REFUSED TO BREAK INTO THE GARAGE DUE TO NO POWER!!!!!! AND NOW EVEN NOW WITH POWER AND NO STORMS I VE BEEN TRAPPED OUTSIDE OF THE GARAGE SINCE 12AM AND ITS NOW 3 AM AND I STILL CANT GET IN!!!!!!! CALLING THE MAINTENANCE LINE DOESNT HELP BECAUSE HE CONSTANTLY SAYS HE CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT!!!!!!!! SO AT THIS POINT WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT IT

The apartment complex in general is okay in the sense that it s calm and I have not had many issues with crime besides the time money came up missing in my LOCKED apartment that the office claims to have no idea about but we looked past that and have lived here for almost a year now with the major issues being that for one, the gate never works and there s already only one way in and one way out and then more importantly, they use a third party service for rent payments that for some odd reason will refund you your payment and if you re not checking your bank account regularly you ll never notice until you receive an eviction notice. This is the SECOND time they ve tried to evict us after our rent was auto drafted from our account and we received an email saying our payment was processed but they claim that the payment was not received and that they have no way of knowing if or when the payments are or are not received until the date of eviction because all payments go through the third party.. after the first time we removed the auto draft and started paying it ourselves on the first and here we are AGAIN having the same issue. what is the point of an apartment staff if they cannot even issue you a warning or some type of notice that your payment was rejected? They didn t send an email, a phone call or a notice in the mail either time. We were just considering upgrading to a better unit when this lease is up but who wants to stay in a complex where you have to question if you re getting evicted every month when you know you re paying your rent on time?!

This is not a good place to live the rent is EXTREMELY HIGH WITH THE AMENITIES THEY PROVIDE NOTHING WORKS AND YOU ARE NOT SAFE!!! FOR STARTERS! THE GATES NEVER WORK THERE IS NO PARKING I HAVE TO WALK A MILE JUST TO GET TO MY DOOR!!! SECOND! There are broke downs cars and cars that are parked in resident parking that never moves. Visitors park in residents parking some cars do not have valid registration. THIRD!!! MANAGEMENT DO NOT CARE TO DO ANYTHING IN REGARDS TO YOUR COMPLAINTS THEY JUST WANT TO HEAR IT. DO NOT TALK TO LUKE!!! HE ONLY WANTS TO HEAR YOUR COMPLAINTS AND HE IS VERY MESSY!!! BRING BACK VINCENT & AMY AND GET RID OF EVERYONE ELSE AT LEAST VINCENT WALKED THE GROUNDS AND ENSURED THAT EVERYONE WAS OKAY.

For the most part I like the area. Since Vincent left for me the property has gone down. No one cares about grounds, safety, parking. We leave messages and the staff respond with generic message; but nothing is corrected. 1st - we all pay way to much money for minimum services and accommodations. The gate has not worked since Vincent left. The base board wood appear to be an issue throughout the complex. The grounds are kept at bare minimum. 2nd - we pay for trash pick up, trash administration fee, trash fees period. And we dont have the option to opt out. 3rd - parking - where do I begin. I purchased a garage to ensurei have parking. Most times cars are parked in the complex broken down, on flat, no registration etc..And visitors park in residents areas. My neighbors are aware of no assign parking. They have 4 vehicles and have monopolized two of the parking spots. To my knowledge you can only have two vehicles. Either fix the gate, hire security, or provide parking permits for your residents. Enforce towing.

Mold Mold Mold! My sister and I moved out as fast as possible, she was hospitalized 4 times for respiratory issues when we discovered Mold inside the walls, I had my own issues, 3 days waiting for the a/c to be fixed the the hot water heater bulged out and almost exploded in my face, all my family photos were ruined dating back to the 30s, we had to live here for 3 days without hot water. The original company that owned this apartment complex when I moved in sold to another smaller company based out of town, everything went down hill after that, the company was more concerned about new shingles and exterior paint and needless foundation work than they were on the residence living there, as soon as peoples leases were up the rent went up in my case $200 a month. Bad management, bad living conditions, horrible location. We now live in a better complex at half the ridiculous prices Mission Fairways charged.

Disclaimer: I DID NOT LIVE AT THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX. I am only speaking on the initial steps to try and lease her. I made an appointment to tour the units the floor plan I would live is was unavailable to tour due to it not being cleaned. I looked at a different floor plan and it gave me an idea of what I would get with mine. I applied the next day on a Sunday (1st). I didn t receive a call to verify my information until Friday. I made it very clear I wanted to move in by the 12th due to starting a new job. He said that should be fine. I followed up multiple times to get an update and nothing. I finally reached out to corporate/property management company and was able to get a response. They stated they were still waiting on my background check to come back. During that time period since I was on a time crunch, I applied elsewhere. They were able to complete the background check and approve within that time period. If you plan to move there start the process very early because they will drag their feet.

Beautiful apartments, but I love my peace more. I have lived here for maybe 2 weeks and have complained since my first 3 days of moving in about the upstairs track stars that think we live in a jungle gym. I have spoken with multiple residents around the complex that are having the same issues. The residents must be lying about having the same experiences. 4 week update: My neighbors are still stomping, nothing has been better, and the office has yet to do anything. Who wants to pay for an apartment that they can t even comfortably live in? I have slept in my car for days only using my apartment to shower. Even when I just come home to shower and go to work she utilities that time to stomp throughout the apartment. I m beyond annoyed please make a better apartment selection than I did.

Parking is not enforced. Paying too much not to park in front of my house. They claim parking is first come first serve many vehicles that park here do not belong here or are visitors that don t park in visitor parking! No tow trucks come through but they claim they do. Parking is a major issue. Huge inconvenience and unresolved issue. They brushed it off as if they didn t care, I was told to buy a parking port. AGAIN, an extra expense.

Ive lived here going on 4 years. Very quiet and great place to live. Since it was bought back in January , this place has became even better . New roofs , whole complex & garages repainted , landscape is always cut weekly. The office staff is amazing - Rosemary is my go too . They also offer a Flex plan for rent --LOVE LOVE LOVE IT ! I recommend the Flex Program to everyone . You pick your dates of when payment can come out of your account but yet they pay your rent on time . Being able to pay half rent on the 1st and then the other half on 15th or later .. is a great help , then only pay $15 a month for the program - beats out paying $100 in late fees . This a great place to live ! Oh and dont let me forget about the maintenance guys .. Super friendly and very good at what they do.

Worst apartment complex, rude, unprofessional and honestly can t wait to be out of the lease with them to move. Insulation in buildings are bad, if there is any. Live here if you want to spend 500 plus dollars on electricity during the summer. An apartment this size, we should barely have to pay 200 during the summer. They don t do repairs properly and always cut corners. All they care about is appearance. Don t live here for the cost.Move in photos included with more in my camera roll. This is the standard they give you when you move in, but show you a beautiful apartment as an example. Than you get this. Horrible.

I recently needed the heating element replaced as it literally burned up. Those things happen. I waited nearly 10 days for the repair. Granted it included the holiday and weekend however I had no use of the oven for that period of time. Charles when he was here did a great job to repair it and also the part that was causing my leak from the dishwasher no complaint for him. It was just the time frame and that was due to being short handed? That should be addresses as the residents should not be the ones to be put out. Great job Charles.

Pros: Honestly, the people that work here (maintenance and in the office) are wonderful. We lived here about 2 years and we never had a problem with them. They were always kind. They always answered the phones. They just made life easier while living here. Best management I ve ever dealt with hands down. We only left because we moved into a house but I would come back to these apartments if I ever needed to. Cons: Some things to keep in mind when moving here: there were 2 instances where my stuff was stolen. The first instance was two guys going around stealing stuff out of peoples vehicles and then leaving the complex. I ve gotten my speakers stolen once. I ve also gotten my package stolen by a neighbors friend who was caught on camera. None of these things were the fault of the apartment though except for maybe the gate being broken most of the time. Another thing to keep in mind, if you are going to live in a unit next to the highway, it is always loud. The noise never goes away, ever. So be prepared for that. Also, you will live on the service road, so anytime you need to get groceries or something to eat, anything, you will have to make a u-turn every single time. There is only one way in and out of the complex. And the service road is one way, which is very inconvenient.

The best part about this place is the maintenance people and that s about where it stops. The worst part are the thin walls and ceilings. The people at the office dont enforce any of their own rules. Are they nice and polite yes they are but they might be scared to confront the tenants and that s a problem.If you have a noise complaint save it they won t fine them or do anything to make them stop . AND THE PARKING LOT IS A MESS it all types of nonresidents Parking and double parking wherever whenever , leaving no space for the people who do pay rent to park. What was the point of the resident sticker on the car if I have to park in visitor or outside the gate of my own place?

I don t usually leave reviews but I had to on my experience living here! First of the leasing people don t know what they re doing or saying a lot of he said she said bs! They charge you for pest control monthly yet there s rats outside and roaches in the unit I had stayed in. They give you bs excuses as to why they can t give you your deposit back! You also have to fight for parking unless you pay for a reserved spot or garage. I definitely don t recommend these apartments so rent at your own risk!

Im very happy with Mission Fairways Apartment in Mesquite TX. Ive only been here since May but the staff has been great, very helpful and understanding. Christina is amazing, as is the rest staff here. My 1BR apt is pretty big compared to other apts in immediate area and prices are very reasonable, my only complaint is I wouldve preferred hardwood floors but none were available when I moved in. But I love my apartment.

I love my apartment. The office staff is friendly & nice. Maintenance is very quick with getting things taken care of. However, Im not to happy about the water bill. Ive never paid over $50 for a water bill. I was not expecting to pay over $100 every month. If I would have known, I would have rented a 2,000sqft house.

I just moved here and my apt was not move in ready. The kitchen vinyl flooring was ripped. The AC vent cover is separated from the ceiling leaving a gaping space. The refrigerator is missing a shelf bracket, the closet door is ajar and wont close. The carpet is the basic that Ive even seen, its not the standard apt grade, and its tan. The bathtubs need to be reglazed and re-caulked. The patio door is missing wood and the door from the inside needs to be painted. Theres a hole in the bookshelf/ entertainment shelf (like someone drilled a hole and instead of them fixing it they painted over it). The side of the kitchen bar counter is coming undone on the left side. You do not have your choice of internet providers. It appears to be AT&T only which have data caps. RENTERS BEWARE! 1star is based on unit. 3 rating for staff, as they had 1 month prior to my move in to walk the unit for repairs. But they are nice invididuals there and so once my apt is ready maybe Ill provide an update. Update. THIS COMMUNITY IS NOT SAFE. I LIVED IN THE BACK FACING THE GOLF COURSE AND MY APT WAS BROKEN INTO HAVING LIVED THERE LESS THAN 2 1/2 MONTHS. GOOGLE CRIME IN THE AREA BEFORE YOU LEASE HERE or go the City of Mesquite and pull the crime reports for a small fee. Back in April a man threw a baby over the second floor railing luckily the baby landed on the car port in bldg 801. These apts are infested with hoodlums, racoons and the occasional coyote because youre by the golf course. Bad turn in from the interstate. Just stay away.

This is my 3rd edit to my review as I have now lived here for about 2 years. I had some serious issues that arose my first year here, but the complex is now under some new management terms, and I have since upgraded my apartment to a larger one. 2 things I will mention on a negative note; the complex has towed my vehicle, at no fault of my own, and at my cost. The complex has also charged me for pet fees when they originally told me they would not. These 2 things led to a very bad taste in my mouth. And also costly expenses. However, with all of that said, I have grown to love my apartment and my apartment complex, things happen and communication issues arise. Daniela the property manager is kind and sympathetic, and she responds to emails quickly. I would recommend the Mission Fairways because it is a safe community, and it s quiet.

No a/c in the workout room all summer. Office said they were working on it the whole summer. Just be honest. Tell us your not gonna fix it. Valet service sucked for the first four months! Lucky if it was picked up three days a week. Raccoons eating out of the trash not picked up. Concrete stained where the trash sets outside the door. How about a power wash!!! For what you charge it needs alot of attention

The maintenance team is awesome and so is the management team. There s one downside, and that is the limited parking. Other than that the management team does everything possible to ensure that their residents are satisfied! Way to Go Mission Fairways! You Rock!!

I guess my issue was fixed because no further alarm signals went off and I had a very restful night. I am so appreciative of our maintenance team who are able to work so quickly and so efficiently around my dog. There is absolutely no trauma or nervousness in him what so ever when I return home.

I have had zero issues living here for 2 years now. Staff is great and very helpful. Anything breaks or needs repairs its done in a timely manner. Only reason not 5 stars, some residents need to chill with their cars at 3am

The issues that I had with these apartments are all the fees that they tack on monthly and getting half of our deposit back over a tiny nail polish mark on the counter. For example, they tell you at the beginning theres a trash fee, ok thats fine thats whats expected, but it is three different fees: trash fee, trash admin fee, and trash valet fee. Our rent was like $880 but with all the other fees added, we ended up paying over $1000 monthly. It would have been fine if they were upfront about it. Also, when we moved out, we only got half of our deposit back because a smidge of nail polish the size of a dime on the counter. So small I didnt even notice it and didnt cost $150 to take off. We had a leaky fridge the entire time, maintenance were super nice but only did a temporary fix and it would be leaking nasty water on our food within a couple days. Another thing is parking. I did not think it would be that bad when I read the previous reviews before moving in, but it is. Its really bad. Especially when you have to park outside the gates because there are not enough spaces for everyone and have groceries and a baby to carry across the whole apartment complex to get home. Aparently, the apartment complex had sent a notice stating a tenant was assaulted and robbed in their apartment. Doesnt help that the gate had been broken since we moved in. And dont expect to sleep at night. Some neighbors like to rev their motorcycles and pick up trucks at odd hours. Just know what youre getting yourself into before getting a place here.

I am changing my review since new management has happened! I looove how quick maintenance responds to the problems...front staff is really helpful and nice, parking is still hard after 6 but it is WAYY better now than 2 years ago. I m really impressed with the new management! Besides the kids upstairs stomping all hours of the night I love my apartment! The rooms are huge with high ceilings and even though the highway is right by us, the building walls are thick so you really can t even hear it!

I came in this morning didnt see anyone as we came in , then a young lady came out to help us she didnt have a 2/2 downstairs available until march but she was very kind and helpful. A little bit of light music would help to bring in the warm greeting.

IT APPEARS THAT ONLY LOCAL GUIDES CAN POST IMAGES WITH THEIR REVIEW** Unfortunately, my most recent stay at Mission Fairways (8/23/2017 - 4/3/2018) was not as pleasant my first time living there from (2007-2010). Id like to begin by sharing my experience under Pinnacle Living Management. The communication with the leasing staff was overall poor and that ranges from returning calls, emails or face to face contact. When I came to discuss renting, the leasing staff did not disclose the new fees that were associated with renting (trash, trash fee, satellite dish fee, gate control fee, security fee) UNTIL a lease was signed. These fees were not a part of my leasing experience back in 2007. By the time of the signing, it was too late as I had already committed to moving to Mission Fairways. This was frustrating. When future residents (whether returning or new) is inquiring about renting, it is best to discuss not only the rental price BUT the fees as well. This helps prepare the potential resident for additional cost that are required 2-5 within move in. People shouldnt scramble to move funds around and even moreso not be surprised when they have to produce an additional $200-$600 so promptly. Secondly, my unit had severe water damage in baseboard and holes in the floor which was not repaired prior to move in. Even when I requested new carpet, there was not even a discussion. A simple um, no - its been cleaned. You would think hey if she already has water damage in the baseboards and were charging for all that we can, the least we can do is put some new carpet in. There are photos if youd like to see. These photos were also emailed at the request of the leasing staff. Nothing was done about the concerns reported in the inventory list. I could only hope the repairs are made for the next resident. My third concern is the amount of trash that floated throughout my area of the property daily. The shocking part is - one of the fees mentioned above in the first concern was a $25 trash fee. This fee was for the property to take the residents trash to the dumpster. Residents are REQUIRED to pay this $25 fee to have courtesy trash service, but I pick up trash from other residents that blew to my door - another frustrating residential experience. Why not give residents an option. Ive never been to/heard of a property where they require residents to pay someone on the property to take out their trash. It could make a resident feel uneasy about someone handling potential private information or just the hours of trash pick up period. The City of Mesquite has trash services and residents are paying double...for the same service. I thought returning there would give me a sense of peace while searching for a home since that could be stressful, but all I could reflect on was leaving quickly. Regarding a recommendation of this property, I would share my experience and allow the person to decide for themselves. While my experience was less than favorable, that doesnt mean I would deny someone else a better opportunity.

They were rude and unprofessional, I usually dont base my opinion on first impressions, but in this case I am. Horrible first impression, no thank you Mission Fairways apartments.

Under Pinnacle Management: I had moved here after graduating from college some years ago and over time bounced around from apartment to apartment. I decided to go back and rent at MF again for a year while searching for a house. I had spoken with the leasing office, paid my application fee and waited until the unit was flipped. When I moved in the hidden fees came out of no where (Dish fee, valet trash fee, parking sticker fee). These fees were not instituted during my first stay years back and might I add - the leasing staff NEVER mentioned the fees while I was touring until I begin signing the lease. It was too late to turn back. The unit itself had significant wear and tear (holes in the floor and water damage to the baseboard). You are forced to pay for the valet trash service and the apartments are not worth the price.

We moved in February 2018. The pictures of the apartment looked WAY nicer than when we toured the apartment. We really didnt have any cheaper or better options so we moved in. My very first problem I have is the fact there is NO parking. I have to walk at night with 3 kids sometimes from the front of the lot and Im in the 3rd building. Ive been told that someone patrols the area for cars that are parked here without stickers and its a total lie. Cars without stickers have sat outside our apartments for a week and havent moved and no-one did anything. Another thing is during the first month I had ceilings leaking and drains leaking that took them a few days to fix. Every time it rains it floods my front closet and has ruined stuff in there. They tell you at first that water and trash are included in the rent, but in a month or 2 expect an extra $100+ more on your rent. Absolutely ridiculous and I cant wait for my lease to be up!

DON T RENT HERE!!! These apartments are not worth your money. They are managed by the same management company as the Rosemonts that are cheap and rundown located in South Dallas. They are super small with no closet or cabinet space, no parking for yourself or visitors they have to park outside the gate by the office. You will have things stole from you by the pest control they use, and worst of all there are rats running around eating out the trash you sit outside for vallet. LOOK ELSEWHERE AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE!!!

Management does not care about the residents at this complex My car was towed WITH A PARKING STICKER ON MY CAR. INSTEAD of THE NEW ASSISTANT BEING ON MYSIDE she was taking up for the towing company. MY TWO YEAR AND I WONDERED THE PARKING LOT FOR HOURS UPTIL THE OFFICE OPENED....I HAD A PARKING STICKER ON MY CAR TOO. so crazy. she couldve just told them to bring my car back cause they were in the wrong... But NO.... I was degraded and talked to like a fool. NEVER have I been treated so unfairly. I got SCREWED by breaking my lease because the NEW assistant doesnt know how to do MATH OR HER JOB.... would like corporate to reach out to me ASAP........ Or I will just reach out to them myself.

I recently just moved out of these apts. I have lived in 5 different apartments and all were amazing. The management staff were very helpful when I needed something, and worked with me every time I switched apts. The maintenance crew fixed all of my minor issues within a couple days. If it wasnt for me finally getting the chance to own a home, I would be re-signing a new lease today. Im going to miss the people that work and live there. If I were you I would stop reading the bad reviews and go to the office today. Meet the management and maintenance staff for yourself. You will be happy you did.

This place SUCKS... DO NOT RENT HERE NO MATTER HOW NICE IT LOOKS. I have lived here almost 3 months and hate this place beyond belief. Management does not care about the residents at this complex. You should not have to place numerous maintenance request for serious issues such as main entry door wont knob/latch wont work, common area lighting is not working (HUGE safety concern). Just the other day they caught someone trying to break into the mailboxes that are attached to the main office with a damn crowbar. Parking is non existent as well. If you are not home by 7:30 p.m. forget finding a parking spot. They have reserve parking for residents however they do not enforce it. They have about 10 spots inside of the main security gate for visitors to park. So if you get in late you are forced to park outside of the gated entrance while visitors get to park inside the gated entrance... last time I checked I paid rent here... not them. Complaining to the management here or calling the tow truck company who is suppose to patrol the lot does no good. One final note cross your fingers your AC does not break. It is 97 degrees here today and no AC because it is broken. The only thing I can say positive about this hell hole is the maintenance guys are great and do good work when they can get around to your issues. It is under my impression that the manager in the office tells them what to fix as work orders are submitted online.

We have lived here for the last couple of years and it has gone from great to poor to average. Ownership and management has changed a bunch and every time it seems to improve a little in the beginning. Recently ownership changed again but I am still waiting on some improvements. The parking and wild animal problems have improved a whole lot but our pool needs a lot of work .. and has for the last couple of years. The problem with the pool is really just a lack of daily cleaning. What cleaning they do is just surface stuff, pick up trash and skim the top of the water with a net. The real work of vacuuming the bottom and properly balancing the equipment is not done. And because the staff does not clean good the equipment brakes down. Not sue if its a lack of working equipment, uneducated maintenance staff or they are just plain lazy. But one thing for sure management just does not care about the pool.

Their management was awful when I arrived, but the entire staff was changed by the time I left. The apartments on the side of the golf course are amazing and silent despite the proximity to the interstate. Like others said, parking is a laugh. They could give everyone a garage to help ease the pain, dont know why they havent yet. They had some raccoons too, but I mention that as a plus! A whole family, quite adorable! My girlfriend and I would feed them doggy biscuits at night. Overall, I felt very safe and happy when I lived there. I recommend Mission Fairways.
