We did a curbside pickup order should have been ready within 10 minutes after calling and no answer we went inside after the pickup time and the staff proceeded to help other people walking in an ordering before making our order. We waited 25+ minutes on top of our 10 minute window. We are from NM where Taco Cabana was one of our favorite places to eat. I know the menu is different but we decided to try it out and drove out of our way to try it. Never again.

I hate doing reviews but I live close by and I generally like the food here. The morning crew is great, I go all the time and I ve never had an issue. But the Night crew is awful, like not even close to being good. They re always saying they can t make certain items, or that they can t make a burrito? They have an attitude anytime you want to order more than one item. I drove off there yesterday because the girl acted like I could only order tacos.. but yet the morning crew has never said anything like that. Please, I want to keep coming here but just like the other reviews on here something needs to change. Food is way too damn expensive anymore to have to put up with people that just don t want to do their jobs.

ETA: Since this review and the owners response I have been at least 3 or 4 times and theyve always had ranch salsa!! Thank you for listening and adjusting bases on reviews! I adjusted my rating. This location the staff is mostly friendly, but they hardly ever have the ranch salsa. They just say they are out of at least half the time I ask for some. They also take a long time for food even when youre the only one in line. Other than those 2 things that make it not great, theyre your average fast food place with some employees who are kinder/better than others.

The tacos and margaritas are great considering the price and how quick they are. The staff is usually nice. I only deduct because whenever you venture away from tacos and margaritas it s pretty weak. Ordered bacon, egg and cheese breakfast tacos online and made the mistake of assuming they would give me what I ordered. I was given bean and bacon tacos with none of the cheese I paid extra for. The salsa they gave me was also not what I ordered. When I called the store they were not helpful and even lied to me and said they had none of the salsa de fuego that I had seen myself out at the store. Very disappointing experience.

Not too sure why everyone here has an absolute awful attitude. I m not talking about kissing up to the person they re serving but just awful in general. It s a huff if you say one minute at the speaker, aggressive at the drive thru window, and one time an employee forgot to turn off their mic and called me and my mom the b word. In such a hurry all the time but somehow the food still takes forever and 4/5 times I go there s multiple things wrong with the order- and don t try calling to let them know, they will NOT answer. As a training store please do better I d personally stop going but $3 margaritas you can t beat or mess up.

The worst breakfast tacos I have ever had in my life. I ordered 2 bacon and eggs and the tortious are so soggy they we couldnt eat them. The bacon was not freshly cooked so it wasnt greese. A few weeks ago I had them put the egg in a separate container went to the car to eat it and the container with the eggs was half full of water or something. Always slow, wander why! Do not eat here unless all other places are closed and your starving to death. I really mean to death.

In all fairness, this was the end of the day and they were cleaning up to get outta there. We were ignored the first 5-7 minutes with no acknowledgement even though the staff made eye contact while cleaning the floors and grill. Visited tonight 06.24.23 ordered food, and everything except crunch pizza was good. Ive attached a photo of the pathetic little pizza we as consumers are charged for compared to Taco Cabana advertising. I visited this location tonight (02.24.23). N75/US 380. The staff was friendly. However, my order was not correct when I checked again at home. I called and left a voicemail about it. Hopefully, this type of oversight will get better. The good was lukewarm and not hot as usual. I dont like being charged for a purchase and not receiving the correct order.

The food is good, when they fix it correctly. I have an issue with one of the employees that works the drive through. He is very unprofessional. I pull up to the drive through and was greeted with a yeah, not a how can I help you or may I take your order. I proceed to order my food and ask for a ground beef nachos with everything on it. When I pulled to the window, he asked me if I wanted everything on the nachos, I said yes. I received an order with chips, beans, and meat, no cheese. After a long while of avoiding Taco Cabana due to their service, we gave it another try today around 5pm because I did enjoy their food before, but nothing has changed. As my daughter and I walked up to the counter, I could tell there was a hesitation by the staff as to who drew the short straw and had to come to the counter for the only customers in the place. The young man who drew the short straw ambled up to the register without a word and just stood there dead-eyed looking at us until I decided to say hello before placing our order. We were given a table number but then they just shout out the number when ready so we had to go up and get it ( I remember when they brought it to your table, hence the table numbers). I go to get my food but I need some condiments also, and now I have to struggle for a few moments to get someones attention to get some salsa. The self-serve salsa bar is a big loss for this place. Anyway, on this trip it wasnt the food that left a bad taste, but it was the service. I will not be back and as you can see in the recent reviews, many people are making the same decision about TC. I see the cookie-cutter responses to these reviews indicating the poor reviews are being shared with management but nothing seems to change. I dont see this location open long-term. No surprise, but I replied to my review response below with my contact information to see if they were serious about making improvements or if they really do care about customer sentiment, and surprise, no response as expected.

We were a little disappointed, to be honest. It was kinda dirty, really empty gor a Saturday at Noon, and food was eh. It was like tacobell and Rosas had a baby restaurant. I was hoping for great things but only got medium things.

The food and service was good the only problem was the restaurant it self was a little dirty and the mens bathroom was horrible! Other then that it was fast service food was fresh but they need to be a bit cleaner.

Stopped to get 3 tacos for breakfast this morning and the lady said they were shorthanded and it could be a bit of a wait. I said Ok. But they handled it flawlessly! Didnt wait at all! Great job!! HM

Very good for fast food, budget, Tex Mex. My wife and I made it out for $16 and were full. Ingredients seem to be better quality and fresher than most restaurants in this category.

Continuous decline :( Quesadillas tortilla was burnt to a charred crisp. Chicken fajita strips non-existent literally CRUMBS of chicken the size of ground beef crumbles & those were greasy & way overcooked (rubber consistency). It s as though they scraped the remaining crumbs (garbage piedes) off the top of the griddle and put them on the tortilla!! It was disgustung. Id be embarrassed to presebt that as food to a customer. Do better. Shaking my head The few bites I tried have kett me me stomach pain high up under my ribs. If you re hungry, pick another Taco Cabana. Sadly, this very location used to be excellent! I wouldn t feed these scraps to the black birds that beg for food out by the outdoor seating

Great food, but you have an amazing woman running the drive thru. shes always so sweet and happy and my son and I look forward to seeing her every visit. In a world where so many are grouchy in the morning, its refreshing to see someone with such a great attitude.

This used to be a great value fast food restaurant, Covid killed that. We informed a staff member that their outside lights were not on and were told that they only had three people working tonight. I guess they didnt want to draw a croud since they were understaffed. We ordered a large fajita meal. When the girl took the order she went and looked and said they would have to cook more meat and it would be 15 minute wait. We said okay we will just drink a margaritas while we wait. The margaritas machine was out of juice so we only got a 3/4 full cup. I watched her put fresh meat on the grill and before any of that meat came off the grill we heard order ready after alot of discussion we were finally given salsa. We get home wroth our meal to find a small portion of meat, no peppers and onions, a container of lettuce with a scoop of guacamole, sour cream, Pico and shredded cheese.

Arrived while the grill was in process of cleaning, but the manager on duty made sure he had enough grilled chicken to fulfill my order after having had a rush instead of just saying they were out. Customer service has long been dying in all service industries, however this guy is doing it right.

This place has changed. The food was not prepared correctly. The service was awful. The 3 people were trying run counter take orders cook food making drinks. The dine room dirty tables all dirty. I had clean 1 off so we could eat. I sent my order back twice because grilled chicken was over cooked.
