Is it really thay hard to bring out a hot steak? I was served two, not one, but two terribly lukewarm steaks. They had the right amount of pink too, but they were just cold. Throw the damn thing in the microwave for all I care, just bring me a hot steak and Id call it at least 3 stars. Also, the fried cheese bites tasted freezer burnt. Service was great, but the steak failed, and mind you, its a steak house. The other locations didnt fail me so why this one?

I ordered chicken portobello with sweet potato and side salad. The chicken was cooked nicely, still juicy but the gravy kind of ruined it. Grave was bland, grainy, and Im wondering if the mushrooms are canned or just come in a bag with the gravy. Sweet potato was good. The atmosphere is loud, dirty, and crowded. Swarms of people like ants on a dead bug. You can hardly walk to the gross bathroom because so many people are standing in entrance, halls, isles, etc. Wait was 50 minutes, service was poor. Servers dont clear ur plates and glasses anymore server was in the weeds and check drinks from the bar were terrible. My friend said her steak was good though. Gross place, IMO.

We normally go to the Texas Roadhouse in garland off of george bush. However last night we were in the area and decided to go to this one instead. The service wasnt as good as what we normally get at the garland location but it was fine. However when we ate our leftovers at home we discovered the rolls were completely undercooked and still doughy on the inside which was really disappointing. We noticed when we got to the restaurant the person preparing the rolls, that you can see through the glass, was on their phone and charging it right on the prep table. Which to me seems very unsanitary, considering people often take their phone to the bathroom with them. It wasn t a big deal to me at the time but it makes sense now.

Well I tried to call in my order I waited 14 minutes and 39 seconds before somebody would answer the phone actually I drove to Texas Roadhouse from my house as I walked into the back door to the to go area she picked the phone up as Im walking in the door and I said no bother Im standing right here. I placed my order I added a kicker of ribs they said my birthday coupon for the free kicker was expired My birthday was September 13th. Obviously that was the one that was sent to my wife on her birthday of August 24th. They went ahead and bickered a little bit but honored the the coupon. As Im leaving and I get to the car they didnt even put the kicker ribs in the bag they forgot my kicker I had to go back in to get my kicker of ribs. The general manager Todd needs to watch the cameras a little bit more. too many people standing around not answering the phone.

The location was clean and we were at quickly. Our waitress got our order right on the first try but my pork chop was not cooked all the way. It was pink on one side of the chop and I was not able to eat it. I dont like sending food back because I dont want anyone to be angry and do something to my food so I just ate what I could. I dont know if I will be going back to that location.

I have attended other venues and they have been excellent. But this time the attention with Waitress Maddy was a disaster, she did not allow one to explain their preference well. I ordered a coffee and it is super cold. I think it was morning coffee. The food took 52 minutes to arrive. And the food arrived cold. A Caesar salad where the lettuce was pure white stem, I didnt see the leaves on the lettuce. Noooo Ill visit it again. Nooo I recommend it

Consistency at best! Best bang for your buck. The music is always so loud that you cannot carry on a conversation. It was a competition of Hispanic music in the kitchen area vs country. Made for a frazzled meal.

I used to be a big fan about TRH, but not only was the food disappointing, but the service was as well. I love the vibrant atmosphere and I know it s usually busy as heck on the weekends. There were birthday celebrations left and right, yet we couldn t get a call out for the life of us. We asked THREE times for a birthday callout for my mother and her sister. Nothing. We even asked another waitress. Nothing. At one point we saw the saddle heading towards us and got our phones out for the silly fun moment. Sike. It was for the table a few feet down. Cherry on top. The food was beyond salty and the burger just tasted like ground meat with no flavor. Message received. We won t be coming back.

We had a disappointing experience during my recent visit to McKinney, Texas location. Upon being seated at our first table, we noticed trash beneath it. After bringing this to the attention of the staff, we were moved to another table, which also had trash around it. When I requested to speak with the store manager, she kind of shrugged off my concerns, stating it was night time without offering any apology or taking responsibility for the poor cleanliness and customer experience. This response felt dismissive and unprofessional, and I am very disappointed with how the situation was handled. It does not reflect the standards I expect from Texas Roadhouse.

My first visit here...it was amazing! The family and I went after church on Sunday. It was really busy but they were able to seat us almost immediately. Ive seen the talk about their bread all over social and I can say it lives up to the hype. We filled up on a few baskets of bread right away. When our main courses came through, the food was so good that I pushed through and ate it all! Im definitely coming back.

Food was good, service was quick, and we all enjoyed our meals. If you dont like long waits I highly suggest going early (or later) and check in for the wait-list in the app. (You still have to check in when you get there) Oh, and the rolls ... Yum! I went in to Texas Roadhouse on 8/20 during the PM, closing shift for dinner. Upon arrival, none of the 3 girls at the hostess stand greeted me and the person I was with. I told them table for 2 and still nothing was said to us and they continued their conversation about how they were rich girls leaving us standing there. The girl who took us to our table didnt say anything to us and just started walking, so we followed. In a very snarky tone she turned around as she was seating us and said oh how are you and rolled her eyes and walked off. Every person we encountered at that restaurant could not have been in a worse mood. It was more than apparent to us it was a lot of peoples last day due to returning to school, but that is no excuse for treating guests terribly. The happiest person was the kid who brought our food out to us and that really says something if you keep him in the back. After our food was brought out the waiter didnt check on us a single time until he came to our table to deliver the paper check and also tell us we could use the machine on the table. Definitely will not be returning to this location and will be traveling MUCH farther to my tried and true location in Lewisville or The Colony that has never let me down.

So we have a large party, waited and was told they didn t have anyone to walk us Again, our party of 17 is lined up ready to go and sit Then the fun happened, we split at a booth that holds 8 and 8, making 16, right? Yep, sooo as stated we have 17 people, you see the issue. Two in our party sat at a booth then moved closer when another table left after 20 minutes and we started getting closer. So, once the two people in our party moved closer, the waiter and waitress started arguing in front of us, that s my table they moved tables. Keep in mind the Manager said they will block this small table off so we can get closer together I told the waitress that s NOT appropriate to be arguing in front of us and is completely un called for and said, ok and walked off We haven t seen her yet, so think we might not be her table anymore. I stand firm that you NEVER argue in front of customers and take it in the back and talk about it OR talk to your manager about her decision. Looks like the manager with the pink cast is waiting on us now. To say the least, we are all try to have a good time together, but we all agreed we won t be back here.

It was my firts time here, the food was great also the service. We waited around 30 min for our table on a Thursday around 5 pm, so it wasnt that bad. The only thing to say is the cooking point of the meat. If you like it, more juice go for the medium rather than mediumwel ( it was to dry). Rather than that, everything was great.

It truly saddens me to write this review, as I have never had a bad experience at any of the Texas Roadhouse locations. I ordered some food to go to after work today. I ordered Country fried chicken, sweet potato, and fresh vegetables. The chicken wasn t good, the sweet potato was fine, but the broccoli was extremely overcooked and mushy and the carrots were hard an dry. And the rolls!!! Noooo!!! Not the rolls!!! They were hard and did not taste fresh. I even ordered and extra 1/2 dozen and I don t even want them. I mean, come on, the rolls are what drive us there. I am truly disappointed.

I always love their steaks and down to earth atmosphere. It can be crowded on the weekends so arrive early or expect a wait. You can select your own cut off meat, but be ready for a price home if you do.

First timer! The bread with cinnamon butter was sooo good but I ate some much I could barely eat my food. I got a ribeye and ribs combo with 2 sides. Everything tasted amazing and was even good when I warmed it up at home the next day. I picked a loaded baked potato and seasoned rice for the side. Next time I wont get the rice. It wasnt bad but was the worse thing on my plate. Server was great and kept us refilled with rolls and bread. Next time I will slow down on the bread so I can actually eat! The cactus blossom is also great.

Texas Roadhouse is our usual go-to place when we want steak. We stopped by this location as we were in the area. Unfortunately, we were both disappointed with our 12 oz ribeye steaks. The cut of the steak was thinner than at other locations weve been. Also, the steak flavor was off ---not sure if it was due to lack of seasoning or the quality of the meat? The side dishes were fine, as was the service. Maybe this was a fluke.

I love this place, but the service tonight was TERRIBLE! Went out for a cheat night after a long day of work, and we were really disappointed by our waitress BB. She was so inattentive we just had to ask other servers for refills and stuff. I finally just walked up myself to ask for some rolls, I got tired of waiting. She came to our table to take our order and deliver the food and that s about it. Couldn t find her for anything else. We haven t been here in about a year and generally speaking, I have always liked the Texas Roadhouse. However, the food quality seems to be going down.The steak was spongy and bland, the Ribs were pretty good, just not great. The kids cheeseburgers were charred and just tossed on the plate. Disappointing waitlist experience. I joined the online waitlist while I was on the way. You get a text message on your phone that asks you to text HERE when the entire party has arrived. It gave me 15 min wait time quote. We texted HERE and the hostess said there were 3 parties ahead of us. We waited and apparently after you arrive, they no longer use the texting service and just shout names. It s now 6:40 (we arrived at 6:15pm) and when we check on our status, we were told it looks like someone else stole your table. So we had to wait some more. All we got were apologies, and it was not a good start to our experience. Why use the online waitlist if you re going to shout names? Which can lead to people just grabbing tables without confirmation? And it wasn t 15 mins as quoted. It was more like 45-50 minutes.

Had dinner at the bar, the rib I was absolutely amazing, the service is always spot on, this is a well-run restaurant from top to bottom, from the time youre graded to the time you leave they make you feel like spending your money there is worth it, you cant say that about a lot of restaurants these days.

I am really disappointed in this place these days. I have been coming here for about the last 10-13 years and honestly, over the past 3 years, the chances of me getting a good steak or one even cooked the way I ordered it, has been like winning the lottery. If the staff was not so awesome & they were messing up my little girls steak, I would stop coming here. Too many times, the steaks are not seasoned anymore, let alone do we get all of our steaks cooked correctly. I usually ask for my ribeye to be medium rare & tell the server they can err on the side of rare, while my wife & daughter go for their sirloins medium rare. Usually, 1 comes out rare, 1 medium rare & 1 medium well or well done. The sides are usually good, though sometimes my chili comes cold & I always have to ask for my extra dressing again after my salad comes out without it. This location used to be the absolute best, but it has gone downhill. It almost feels like they are relying on people to drink enough that they dont notice that the food isnt where it used to be, especially when you get a server who gets irritated when you dont order alcohol and suddenly they cant be bothered to care about your order anymore.

Ordered a to-go meal yesterday and was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. I do want to give credit to the to-go employee as they ensured everything was present in the bag however the quality of the food was the down point. The steak was ordered medium-rare and came out close to well-done. I got a baked potato that wasnt fully cooked and had to spend some time getting it ready in the microwave so i could eat it with my meal. Additionally the mashed potatoes were cold and soggy when they came out. Keep in mind, I only live ~10 mins away and I arrived within in the pickup window for the food so this was not an issue of travel time or tardiness. Overall just very dissatisfying.

The last two visits to the Sherman Roadhouse have been disappointing. We have always enjoyed the food in the past. However for the last two visits our steaks were overcooked and the server did not ask us to cut into the steaks to make sure they were cooked correctly. In addition, my husband ordered a short draft beer and on both recent visits they delivered a tall. I know we could have sent the steaks and the beers back but that seems so wasteful. Up until recently we never had an issue.

1. You should be glad that EMERSON is working there and was so wonderful because this location SUCKSSSSSSSS. The bread at TX Roadhouse is a famous fan fav and you guys managed to toast it like it was fresh off the hot concrete ground. Toasted and overcooked Tx Roadhouse rolls? A first for me. 2. Upon arriving there, the tables were completely nasty underneath (food, towels, trash, wet spots, ) so I asked respectfully that they sweep under one for me. The young lady swept while staring into space and didnt want to sweep again although everyone with working eyes could tell she missed spots and left food and trash under the table. 3. Even worse, I mentioned to another see staff member that we wanted another table and I was told by the young lady We dont clean the floors until the restaurant is closed so every table will have something. Theyre all the same. She also walked off and left my family and I standing there at a table we didnt want to sit at. We almost left but the original young lady (see #2) ushered us to another table.We look under the table and theres literally dinner towels and silverware under this table. I dont mind paying for my food and for service, as I eat out often, but Im not even going to play with this one. I enjoyed Emerson , our server, and his patience and politeness was the complete opposite of the rest of the trashy staff we encountered. Will not be back and truly wish this location would serve McKinney in the way that they deserve. Clean up and cook better food. I felt disrespected and unwelcomed. Your rolls looked like Skinny Pop Popcorn.

My Fiancee and I absolutely love Texas Road House, We visit Texas Roadhouse twice a week. Typically the Service is Prompt and the Staff is Friendly. We visited the Texas RoadHouse Location in Mckinney on Sunday 05/19 We Checked in online and still had to wait 20 min after check in for a table. While we were standing and waiting on our Table we noticed a disrespectful pattern of behavior, A waitress was in such a rush and unaware of her surroundings that she bumped and elbowed my Fiancee 5 times. We were standing in the same spot and this particular waitress kept running by us and elbowing My Fiancee.. The waitress never took the time to stop and apologize. If we were standing in the way, she could have asked us to move elsewhere or at the very least apologized. Other guest were also standing in an unorganized fashion due to Tables not being available and the staff rushing around.. We still enjoy TXRH but I dont think we can return here if the service will be this bad or if members of the staff will be unproffesional or lack common courtesy.
