My visit to Super Shack was pretty good overall. The food was decent, a tad over priced. The star of show was the bread pudding. I would go back just for that alone. The one downside was Rosio C the attendant that took our order charged us for that we didnt order. Besides that, the overall experience was good.

Best service ever. Barely inside door Manager super nice took me to the to go cashier. Zero waiting ! Food was perfect, especially their hush puppies , they have a spot of sweet corn in them! This was my first visit and on Fathers Day. It was pretty busy but by the time we got through the line to order our food there were tables to sit at. Something unique which I really enjoyed... Food came the table as soon as it was ready. Though we didnt start eating together... the food was hot and delicious when we got it. The only negative is the price. Almost $20 for a shrimp po-boy and fries. Dont get me wrong it was really good and packed with crawfish, but it is pricey. Overall really enjoyed it ... Great seafood for being in North Texas. We cant go back often ...but we will GO back.

Love the birra tacos over the seafood broil. The seafood broil was good but it had a taste that after a while you wouldn t like. Kinda like a Frank Hot Sauce taste. Not what I m used to but still good as a once in a while meal. But the Birra tacos with the sangria drink is AMAZING!!! And their fries. Will definitely be back. Service was very quick and family friendly. Super Shack is my new seafood haven! Seriously, their Shrimp, Pulpo, and Tilapia tacos are out of this world. I cant get enough of them! And lets talk about their Margaritas just WOW. Perfectly mixed and so refreshing. But its not just about the food; the service here is top-notch too. The staff is friendly, attentive, and they really know how to make you feel welcome. I really wanted fried catfish and my regular spot isn t open so came here (bad idea). Ordered the catfish and shrimp platter and this don t taste like catfish- it s like tilapia and I hate tilapia. This place was way too expensive for the quality food and flavor was mid. $18 for 2 thin pieces of fried catfish and 3 medium shrimp and fries. No coleslaw. Fish and chips tasted bland too. $35 for a vuelve a la Vida is absurd (shrimp cocktail with a couple of oysters and squid). $33 for a whole fried fish. Overall the flavors are 2 out of 5 stars. Tried a lot that wad ordered at my table of 7 ppl. We were specting the food to taste good for the prices on the menu but were all let down big time. So many places put there you can spend less and get more in quantity and quality. Also you order at the bar & tip in advance and the only service you get is the food being delivered to you. Should of kept our 20% tip.... never again.

We decided to give a relatively new restaurant near our house a try, as were big fans of seafood. Unfortunately, our dining experience left much to be desired. I ordered the fish and chips, but to my disappointment, the fish was breadcrumb-fried instead of batter-fried, and it turned out to be dry and tough. It seemed like a pre-seasoned frozen filet hastily tossed into an air fryer. The chips were also lacking they were thin potato strips, but unfortunately, they were undercooked. My wife opted for the poboy sandwich and onion rings. While she found her meal acceptable, the onion rings suffered the same fate of being undercooked. The total cost for the entire meal (excluding drinks) was approximately $35. Given our experience, I dont anticipate returning, unless its just for a casual beer at the bar. Its worth noting that the restaurant was about half full on Saturday, December 23rd at 6:30 PM.

I had the Fried Catfish and Shrimp Combo, which also came with fries. The batter used was fantastic. This is probably the best shrimp and catfish that Ive had in McKinney. However, both the catfish and french fry servings were wafer thin. Each bite of catfish tasted like 80% batter and 20% fish. (Same with the french fries). While the flavor was great, the thinness was disappointing. Im not sure Id recommend this place based on the thin servings, but Id go back and eat there with friends/family if they wanted to give it a try.

I was out and about and didn t get a chance to eat today so decided to treat myself to lunch! I was in the area and seafood sounded amazing so super shack sounded pretty awesome. It is right off of 75 and a pretty unassuming restaurant. Plenty of options, seafood and not. You order at the bar, get a number and they bring to the table. Decor is rustic seafood shack vibe, complete with painted palm trees. The servers were friendly, and the food came out piping hot and quickly. I opted to do the seafood bowl which had crab, shrimp, sausage, potatoes, and corn and went with the Cajun seasoning for the recommendation of the server. It was served in a large stainless steel bowl, and a plastic bag, full of awesomeness, served with a side of drawn butter for dipping. I certainly couldn t finish it all but thoroughly enjoyed all of it, would definitely recommend this place for some down home, unfussy seafood. I will definitely be back !

Exceptional quality, where great food and friendly service never fail to satisfy. The portions are generous, the drinks are wonderful, and the menu offers a remarkable range of options that never become dull. Even the kids menu boasts the same level of attention to detail and quality as the rest of the menu. My numerous visits have yet to disappoint, and I have yet to be served anything less than their best quality.
