My sister and I thought this would be a great spot to eat, drink and hear some music. We sat at the bar and were ignored. The staff was way more interested in chatting with others. Im sure they could tell it was our first time there but no one spoke to us. We left. The band was good. I wish I would have read the reviews before going there because this seems to be a common and long-term problem.

Everyone is always kind and welcoming. We come early evening/late afternoon with our kids, and the staff is always so friendly and welcoming. Wonderful beer selection, great food, and relaxed atmosphere. My only slight complaint is that they should have more than 2 high chairs for families.

The bartenders here are not it. We were made to move from our table because their friends came. They said it was reserved when it clearly was not as there were several other tables clearly marked as reserved with large signs. There were no available tables and thus we lost seats we had been at for over an hour and would have sat somewhere else when we arrived if it had been marked. The table next to us was also not marked reserved but they didn t ask them to move. Only the table with the black person was told to move. We will not be back.

Say if you are scared of unknown germs or covid, stay away from here. The bartender poured me a beer. I went to take a sip. noticed stick still on the glass so it was not washed. the Guy was still trying to tell me I am paying for that beer with someone elses germs in it. at least it was a Lady I hope. never know these days. but I still prefer to know the person @ least of I am sharing germs. & he was just going to pour that beer into a different glass & not get me a new glass and beer. Good thing I made him get me a different beer entirely. The food I really cant say. the Artichoke dip was okay. I had better, and its hard to mess that up. I have 0 intentions of coming back here ever, I should have just walked out after the drink disagreement.

Nice place, friendly staff, very high quality beer, lots of seating. Prices are more like new york but the quality is there. Live music and a Rock n Roll atmosphere that welcomes a musician in with open arms, photos are from just before a show on Christmas Eve weekend. The manager Nahubba was very Rock n Roll to talk with. Check out the #22 IPA has a great flavor without a sharkbite at the end. Definitely a great place to visit. Posh an tough.

This place has potential. The beer selection is great and atmosphere seems good, nice lay out and live music, although the service is terrible. On 12/08/2023 our group of three arrived at about 3:30, to celebrate a going away get together, by our 2nd round of beers the female bar tender on duty looked at us and smiled as she asked Who here has never been here before? after raising our hands, she told us to go sit at a table because I like my regulars more than you We got 86d from the bar because we were not regulars, and since this place literally does not have a staff to serve tables - we technically had to go back to the bar to order, if we wanted to stay. I literally cant even make this up. If your not a regular go sit over there. Maybe this is just a local thing? at this bar? I really did want to explain to this tone def bar tender, why her tactless approach to customer service, really is ultimately detrimental to her long term success. So nice place - just dont sit at the bar if your not a regular and dont wait for someone to serve you at a table - go to the bar!

This is a great local neighborhood spot for grabbing a pint. This time I decided to try the bombers. The selection was awesome, as always! Cant wait to come back and dive the selection of drafts. Been coming here for a while now, my first experience was an open mic night and the warmth of the staff, the constantly rotating beer selection, and the ability to purchase 4oz glasses for the richer beers at great prices made it a regular spot for me and my friends. We started participating in the open mic night, and the other musicians are just incredibly welcoming and diverse. You ll hear 10 different genres across several generations of musicians on any given night. It s way better than a suburban bar has any right to be. Definitely recommend giving it a try! The brisket nachos are killer btw.

Fantastic place ! I like the rock and roll vibe they got going on. Its just the right temperature here, especially with this overbearing heat outside. I walked here to wait on my vehicle. The 10 dollar lunch specials are great ! A chicken and cheese panini with a side salad and chips. Even the chips are pretty decent, and Im not a big plain chip kind of person. Theyre crispy, not too salty and go well with the sandwich. The panini is crispy and full of flavor. The chicken is well seasoned. The side salad was pretty good with the thick buttermilk ranch. The only complaint I had was the glob of blue cheese on top. But thats totally my fault for not reading what was in it. Pouring ranch over the sandwich made it just as great ! I highly recommend this place for a quick drink and lunch special. Theyre available for lunch on weekdays till 3pm. Vegetarian options: Side salads

We accidentally found this fun place last Wednesday and returned this past Wednesday! The food is pretty good for a bar, there is a vegan option that isnt a gross impossible burger, and music bingo is a BLAST!! The employees are all super nice and always smiling. They have a bunch of different beers (not my style, so I cant comment), but there are some fun wines in a juicebox that are pretty tasty. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try, but please dont go on a Wednesday bc then we might not be able to find a table Vegetarian options: Falafel sandwich with hummus

An outstanding place to hang out for a few hours, eat good food, drink good beer, and enjoy local music. Weve been here multiple times and have never had a bad experience. Theyre perfectly open to people showing up and hanging out to play a few games and even have a good-sized game shelf themselves. If I had any complaints? Depending on which nights you go, the live music can be LOUD, which makes it hard to hear each other talking. Dietary restrictions: They offer vegetarian and gluten-free options. Ive been here a few times. The atmosphere is great and I love that they showcase local music. They also have a pretty large tap wall. I wish they would curate their beers a little better as they rarely have an imperial stout, brown ale, or pilsner, etc... Thats my reason for the 4 stars. The staff is really nice but last time I was there, I only received 12oz of beer in my 32oz growler. I went back today and the manager really took care of me! Also, this happening is not my normal experience and it was nice that he took care of me! Dont expect a lot of 4+ star beers here though, theyll be more middle of the road beers. Cheers!

I have been twice in the past two months. The music is marginal but fun. But the wait service is horrendous. Both times, we were never visited by wait staff, even after an hour and a half. I had to refill my own drink twice. I know staffing is in short supply, but this was enough to make me not want to return. We came in for the first time on Friday. Grace was very sweet and our food was so good. Beer cheese dip is wonderful. So good we came back Saturday for the hummus and another sub. All of it was great. We even ate 2 big bowls of popcorn. Susan was so nice and we really like it there. We will be regulars for sure. Wonderful owners, friendly and knowledgeable staff, fantastic beer selection, fresh and flavorful food. Plus, hand made guitars for sale by local guitar craftsman. How cool is that? Need a beer, youre covered. Need a sammich? Youre covered. Need to shred? Youre covered. Great local spot for McKinney residents and visitors.

We came here for trivia on a Monday. It was pretty slow so the service was quick. The beer selection is great- they even had multiple hefes! We ordered a few appetizers and they were very good. I would prefer to order from the table for simplicity, as im sure the line to order can get long on a busier night

What a cool place This location has like a million craft beers on tap that rotate in and out ( like 50 or 70 something ridiculous you will have sensor overload lol) they even keep some favorites on tap that never leave ! G&G has a selection of wine on tap as well. So if your looking for a cool place for a date night look no further. Every night of the week they have events like interactive bingo, trivia nights, live music ect ect. The food is soo good here as well, made fresh in house at time of order! Doesnt matter what you order drinks or food your guaranteed a good time at this place! Recommend 100%

For us it was just okay. The nachos were overly salty for me but the price was decent. The sandwich my wife ordered was just okay too. I wanted to like this place for food but perhaps our 2nd trip will just be for drinks.

Good nachos and even better beer selections. Just happened to come by while my son was at football practice. I may have to volunteer to drive him more often. Its Tuesday, and theres an open mic night for songwriters. Not a huge crowd during the Covid-19 epidemic, but its fun!
