Round Table was THEE ONLY place in this town that had a pretty good salad bar and now its GONE! My husband loves the pizza and my family and I visited often. While my family enjoyed other food options, I ABSOLUTELY loved the salad bar. Round Table was the happy compromise my whole fsmily coukd agree on but now we will come here even less because the ONE thing I enjoyed, is gone. Taking away one of the ONLY healthy options on RTs entire menu was NOT a good idea.

This is a medicre attempt to establis a pizza place where it doesnt fit. The food quality is poor in taste and consistency. The lady taking the orders wasnt very friendly. There was a gentleman i presumed is part owner or runs the bar, who got into an argument with this front desk lady over some glasses racks which was very rude and unprofessional and rather uncomfortable. The location is at the bottom of some apartments, that unless youre seeking to try a new place? I dont see how this place gets any major business. I wouldnt eat here again, nor recommend it to anyone.

Update 04/12/24 - Horrible service tonight. Personal pizza and 3 Parm twists took 40 minutes. My dining companion did not receive his order until an hour and fifteen minutes from order placement. Staff has no sense of urgency and seemed very uncoordinated in the kitchen. This is not how a Roundtable should be run and management needs to correct their deficiencies quickly. I will not be returning to this location for at least six months hopefully these issues will be corrected or they will have gone out of business.

Just left the McKinney location. I arrived with some friends and it was a bit busy so I expected a bit of a wait. I did not expect to wait ONE HOUR AND THIRTEEN MINUTES. I was brought the wrong pizza...TWICE. When I finally got my pizza, I decided to just take it to go as my friends had been waiting long enough. Discovered that my pizza did not have the extra sauce I asked for and was not well done as I asked. There was absolutely no leadership in the kitchen or the restaurant. The staff was trying but they were getting frustrated as well. This all comes down to poor management, poor training and poor planning. Its a shame because I always had a good experience here and absolutely love Round Table but I will not be in a hurry to come back...if ever.

The pizza is fantastic. If you haven t had Round Table give it a try however I cannot recommend this location. We have stopped here many times and the last time we did our service was poor and unprofessional. A man claiming to be the manager who responded to every comment or request with an argument and who after making us a pizza that had no sauce wondered why we could possibly have an issue. After another petty argument this time with my wife the sound of dishes being thrown around in the kitchen could be heard. It is at this point that no matter how good the pizza is the service is simply so bad the product cannot be trusted. My compliments to Juan who had only one customer messed up the order and then had a tantrum fantastic work I ll never be back

I had previously left a 5 star review because of the great experiences I have had in the past. It s unfortunate to have to lower my rating, but after my experience last Saturday, I feel like the owners should know how their employees are treating customers. My family has been going to Roundtable for over 30 years back home, so when we all got together it was the obvious choice. We called in an order for pickup at 8:40 understanding they were closing at 9 we didn t want to dine in and keep anyone there late. When my daughter called to place the order, she was asked if we could be there in 5 minutes. We ordered three pizzas and garlic Parmesan twists and were told they couldn t make the twists at that time of night. That makes no sense to me, I believe they are run through the same conveyor as the pizza, but I could be wrong. When I arrived to pick up the order, I asked about the garlic twists, I and was told they were out of them, I didn t know they had given my daughter conflicting information until after I returned home. The pizzas were all finished prior to 9, so it wasn t like they had any other orders that would keep them late. It appeared they were hoping to walk out the door at 9. The main reason I m leaving this review is I feel like we were basically being persuaded to not place the order at all. I will be happy to update my review once I know the owners are aware of what happened. As a previous restaurant owner, I would want to know if my employees were sending business elsewhere.

Wow! This is by far the nicest Round Table Pizza I have ever visited. Nice seating outside, but the interior is very clean, very comfortable, and nicely decorated. Its just an overall comfortable environment to be in. Our pizza was delicious, being fresh and hot out of the oven and didnt take what seemed to be an absorbent amount of time to bake. The young lady at the register was super friendly and attentive even for it being so close to closing time. I didnt feel as though we were a burden to the closing crew, and we were not rushed one bit. It was just an all-around enjoyable experience that my date and I truly appreciated. Good job Round Table! Well be back. Parking: Parking was a little tight.

Terrible. Didnt deliver one of our pizzas. Blamed Barbara the delivery driver who is evidently the male that delivered one of our pizzas and spoke no English. DROVE to the location where I presented my receipt. They then proceeded to pull my pizza out of the warmer, tossed it on the counter and turned their backs at me. Wow!!!! Paid over $70 for 1 xlarge pizza, 1 medium, 1 salad and 5 fountain drinks. I have no idea how this place stays in business. Its one of the worst pizza weve ever had. Waaaay too much paste (not sauce), undercooked, over priced frozen pizza. I think little Ceasars pizza is disgusting but we would much rather have that over this garbage! The picture I added is me pulling up raw dough after I peeled fake frozen mozzarella and removed a ton of tomato paste, no it isnt cheese im pulling up, its raw dough. For me, Round Table was a tad disappointing. I was super excited to try them for the first time. So excited I ordered two pizzas. The customer service was fabulous and the vibe was energetic. I took the pizzas home and the presentation was good. Unfortunately I didnt enjoy the pizza. For me, the dough was super thick. It almost felt like the dough wasnt cooked all the was through. I wish they would have had a thin crust option. Out of the two Pizzas, I had a slice and couldnt finish it. Unfortunately my experience wasnt enjoyable:(

Ok, so first I started with roundtable location in Frisco and got hooked, then we moved to Forney and went to the one on smu they were both good but Frisco location was my fav. We moved back to north side of town and I tried the McKinney location and let s just say I am not impressed. The pizza is okay but the wings in which I always get with my pizza is lacking everything from the taste down to lack of seasoning in which I get buffalo but they barely touch the wings with the sauce! I am not sure what they are doing in their kitchen but let s just say I won t be back. I ll make my drive right down the way to Frisco they never disappoint.

This is awesome pizza. The staff is great. The prices are super nice. Its in a quiet part of town. Also has golden tee and adult beverages. You can dine inside or outside. Located under Times Square apartments across from the TPC. The only thing keeping me from rating 5 stars is that the fried mozzarella is advertised as 6 (I believe) but every time the Mrs orders them she only receives 5 and 2 of them have been stuck together so it feels like we only ever get 4. All in all a killer pizza at a great price hidden in a beautiful spot. Try it out or your missing out.

We love us some round table pizza! Weve been waiting for Round Table Pizza to get to Texas having relocated from California. So excited they are here now and the pizza is still great. Our favorite is the King Arthur Supreme with extra sausage and mushrooms. Before RT came to TX, we tried just about every pizza joint in McKinney and none lived up to our expectations and what we were used to. When this Round Table opened it had great service and pizza. Both have gone downhill recently. Burnt pizzas and lack of customer service. There is a sign asking you to be kind as the world is short staffed but when you walk in and 3 people make eye contact with you but do not acknowledge or say anything to you and then the fourth person finally asks if you need help. Good thing is we have other places that may want our business.

I was raised on Round Table Pizza in the Seattle area. Its probably my favorite pizza taste-wise. Visiting this particular location brought me the same delicious pizza, but just didnt quite bring the same experience I remember. Round Table was always a fun family hangout place. They always had large tables for big groups and usually a small arcade space (often with mostly free games). This location is kind of cold and corporate with small tables and a bar. Ive never seen a Round Table with a bar. They oddly had a pool table, but no semblance of an arcade. This is definitely a more grown-up version of Round Table. That probably appeals to the surrounding corporate area, but this isnt necessarily the most family friendly spot, and that was a little disappointing to me as a Dad who wanted to share a bit of my childhood with my kids. I cant give less than 4 stars though because the pizza itself was great and just how I remembered it.

Messed up my order when I called to try and get a refund manager (didn t get her name) told me it s the apps fault and tried to act like there wasn t anything she could do to resolve the situation.Mind you there s no app support, the app tells you to call the store for issues. After 5 minutes of going back and forth with her poor attitude she offered store credit due to the kitchen being closed then asked me how much my order was. Never explained how I get my credit and just hung up after ! I have never once seen store credit unless shopping retail so I m assuming she was lying but you never know every place is different . I grew up in Southern California... My childhood was spent going to Round Table Pizza after Football games with my teammates. Running around playing video games and begging my parents for quarters! I used to ride my bike to Round Table during the summer so I could play arcade games and eat pizza! When I found out there was a RT in Texas not far from where I live in Anna I couldnt contain my excitement! My wife(she was raised in So-Cal also) and I make the trip as frequently as we can! Had a not enjoyable time there. The Blonde manager was very rude made me wait close to 5-7 minutes while the cashier lady was in the bathroom, she stood there and did nothing. I placed an online order as the reviews are great! Sadly, dinner never came. Although I gave very specific instructions & directions as the area I m in is always troubling for deliveries, the driver did not follow. Four stars b/c the shift manager acknowledged the issue, apologized, & made it right. No I didn t get the delivery I hoped for & ultimately had to pick up. In high school (California), Round Table was our go to pizza place. It is unique in that it doesnt have big dough handles around the edge, and typically it has sauce, cheese, and toppings to the edge. The taste at this location is similar, but the crust seems different. It was also a little dry around the edges, so those last bites were not as good as the first. But all things considered, it would still be my go to pizza, if I had one near me.

I lived in Northern California for 32 years before moving out to Texas. I was raised on Round Table. I worked at Round Table for 3 years even. Ive ordered here twice now. Its ALMOST the real Round Table pizza. Everything is spot on, however, Its not the same sauce. The spice/tang that made RT so unique and successful in CA has been almost completely eliminated. Good pizza without it, phenomenal (literally the best) pizza with the correct sauce. I hope they fix it because I would love to have the RT pizza I know and love.

Happy to see the hands down best large pizza chain in the nation here in North Texas. Round Table was my absolute favorite pizza growing up in California. Round Tables pizza sauce is still the best Ive ever had. Ive been utterly unimpressed with Texas pizza options since moving here two years ago and Round Table has saved the day. Though I am bummed they do not offer the Pepperoni Triple Play at the Texas locations?

The pizza was absolutely amazing, 11/10, but more importantly the customer service was awesome. Our waiter at the time, Emma, was extremely patient and delivered us what we asked for swiftly. Great experience and will most definitely be returning in the near future.

Dope spot. From East Coast... hard to find good pizza. Got me a simple large cheese and very satisfied with my order. Great job guys! Also they got a window bar with outdoor seating... Happy Hour available. Imma check out this spot a few more times.

Nice setting and near close by. Friendly staff and service. We where really excited based on other reviews. Then the 2 pizzas showed up then the disappointment showed up. Tasted like Digiorno with slightly fresher ingredients. Then when I realized I paid $50 for a small and medium digiorno pizza was not happy. Not a place I would recommend.

Quite literally the worst food I ve ever eaten by a mile. Fresh mozzarella was frozen. Marinara for mozzarella sticks also frozen. Staff is friendly. Literally trying not to throw up this food as I write this. Would have had better success with the frozen pizza aisle. Didn t finish anything just left.

We are so excited that this location finally opened. We have been frequenting the Frisco location for the past year and love it. Round Table is consistent and clearly uses nicer ingredients than most places we ve tried in the Plano/Allen/McKinney area. The mozzarella isn t waxy. The ingredients are flavorful and generous. Try the garlic twists. We ve been twice since they opened and plan to make it a weekly stop.

We were so excited to see this place opening in the neighborhood and had been walking by every day. We went for the first time on their first Friday that they opened at peak dinner hour, they were packed. We were told itd be a long wait for our pizza because they had a lot of online orders, phone was ringing nonstop. We didnt have anywhere to go and could walk right up to our apartment so wed said wed patiently wait. We ordered buffalo and lemon pepper wings, salad, pizza, wine and beer. Wings came out super fast and were SO DELICIOUS! Crispy, flavorful and perfect size. Pizza didnt take too long after and it was better than we expected. Loved the thickness of the bread, the taste, the CHEESE! There were a few hiccups, but nothing worth mentioning because they took care of them immediately. Everybody was working so hard and all employees were kind. We normally eat pizza once a month, but with my niece visiting, we went for back-to-back Fridays. Second visit we went a little later in the night. Ordered our build our own pizza, wings and opted for the craft sodas in the soda fountain. Two days later my niece can not stop raving about the wings, and we agree. She liked the mild buffalo and husband and I loved the garlic butter! SO good. Pizza was excellent again. So happy you guys are in the neighborhood! Cant wait to go back!

Theyve been open a week and have their act together more than any other brand new business Ive frequented. Lets also not forget they have opened in the middle of a global pandemic. The service was amazing. The pizza was equally amazing. The crust was perfectly crisped, not burnt. The toppings were so fresh. I was eating basil off the pizza by itself because it tasted that good. We were able to even get a pizza made that wasnt specifically on the menu. It came out fast, maybe 10 minutes. 2 pizzas served four of us, 2 adults and 2 kids, with about 3/4 of a pizza leftover. The fountain sodas are a type of craft soda. They tasted super yummy. Theyve also got a solid selection of beer and wine. Theyre following all guidelines: gloves, masks, spacing, individually wrapped cheese/pepper, self-serve to-go cups, etc. The bartender was super friendly. Another gentleman walked around making sure we were ok and did a double trip to make sure our teenager had the WiFi password. The location is nice and quiet. A gorgeous area of the city. Theyve got a really awesome open-air bar opening out to the patio as well if you dont want to sit inside. We will absolutely be back. And very soon. Ive got my eye on several menu items. Thanks for a great lunch in the midst of this crazy time!
