We finally found the right place and food at the same time! The pizza is fresh, handmade and cooked in a wood-fired oven and is typically Neapolitan. I took the arugula and ham pizza, it was a leap to traditional Italian cuisine. The location is in an elegant rustic style, it seems to be in a medieval Tuscan village. Really beautiful

Ill admit, my expectations for this restaurant werent sky-high. However, when my pizza arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. Despite initial reservations based on appearance, the flavor and texture exceeded my expectations. The crust was perfectly balanced - airy on the inside and crispy on the outside. I m so befuddled: for the hype, I expected a pretty good pizza. It wasn t so horrible that it deserves one star, but I wouldn t come back here because the flavor isn t commensurate with the price I d be willing to pay. It was my first time coming here, and maybe the kitchen was off, but it s a Saturday and first impressions are important. The sauce was too salty and the crust wasn t even worth savoring. I ate 1.5 slices and threw the rest away. I hate to say this, but I regretted it so much that I wished I just baked a frozen pizza at home.

What a gem! Located in the Adriatica Village, great little pizzeria. The pizza, arancini, and sangria were all fantastic. The menu is very robust, many non-pizza options available as well. We ordered the Parma pizza, which had prosciutto ham on it. The service from Marcus was also stellar, thank you. Our 2 toddlers loved their kids cheese pizza as well. We went there on a rainy day for lunch, so it was not crowded, which we loved. I also loved their payment processing. You get the receipt with a QR code, can pay right on your phone, can also use Apple Pay, which was super convenient. Overall, fantastic experience, highly recommend this place!

I love Cavallis Neapolitan-style wood-fired margherita pizza. I used to go to the now closed Irving branch before it closed. After feeling a big craving, I drove 45 minutes to get here. We were so hungry, I ordered on the phone so itd be ready when we got there but was told on the phone that we cant dine in because we didnt order when physically in the brick and mortar store. What a bizarre policy... I said, Fine, well just eat outside, which we did on the uncomfortable sidewalk. All that drive for this seems like a slap in the face. Dont get me wrong. The pizza tastes and looks great with simple and high-quality ingredients, but the service left a bad taste in my mouth. Im going to search for a closer option that has more consideration for its guests.

This is the best Italian food I ve had in a long time . The Jalepeno spinach artichoke dip was AMAZING. The pizza was delicious and the Zeppoli dessert was irresistible. Clean restaurant. Wood fired brick oven pizza with the great smoky air. We had party of two with open seating at 1:30 PM. Marcus was our server for this first time visit. He explained their in house made mozzarella and sauce with imported San Marzano tomatoes. Wife and I shared the jalapeño and artichoke dip. It was served with the double zero Salina bread, lightly crusted, and was delicious. We had a smoked chicken Panini sandwich and the Mckinney pizza. Both were delicious, certainly enjoyed our lunch, will make this a return to place.

Went to Cavalli Pizza Napoletana with my girlfriend for a little date night, the restaurant had such a peaceful atmosphere. It definitely felt like a little slice of Italy. My daughter-in-law went here and had a horrible experience. She had a rough day at work one day so I gave her some money to order takeout to cheer her up. She used to enjoy having food from here. However that night she ordered takeout and paid in cash but the host or whoever gave her an extra dollar by accident. At first, my daughter-in-law didnt understand the situation because she had just worked long hours and was exhausted. (After long days at work, no one has time to think about math or whatever. Were tired and hungry.) So she couldnt comprehend why the man was hounding her over a DOLLAR. He kept asking and demanding her over this one-dollar bill. The way this economy is now and with inflation, losing one lousy dollar from an ongoing establishment is not going to break your bank. He shouldve just let it go and left her alone. She loves the food but doesnt ever want to go back or order from here because of how that man kept hounding her over a dollar. Quite ridiculous. She even apologized to him because she felt like it was her fault but I had to reassure her it wasnt. The man shouldve recounted the change properly and this situation wouldve been avoided. Now my daughter-in-law looks elsewhere. Truly sad how one bad experience can forever change your outlook on something you used to enjoy. What a shame.

Their prices are higher on DoorDash even if you select pickup. Dont offer 16 pizza through the app. Wouldnt have to use a third party app if their own website would function correctly. You have to create a ChowNow account, which did not submit an order despite repeated attempts. Its 2023 guys, get a working website. You should be able to afford it with these prices. Wasnt actually able to patron this establishment due to the tech issues. Didnt place order through DoorDash because I refuse to order something less (12) than I want and pay more money for it for no reason. Maybe it was for the better. The people this establishment have hired is doing a disservice and causing a lot of revenue loss. I was in the works of doing a catering event with Cavalli (my 4th) and the experience has been awful. The turn around time for any response is 5 days on average, and even then only when I express my sense of urgency. I just signed a contract with Fireova which has been a dream to work with. Everything was finalized in minutes. I started this process with Cavalli on August 7th, finally deciding to throw in the towel today. It s a shame bc they lost a loyal customer. I highly recommend Fireova for your mobile catering needs!

Ordered takeout. Asked it to be ready by 4pm. Waited 20min extra because it was not ready around 4pm at all. Food was extremely boring. The pizza wasnt cooked long enough so it had no crunch at all, felt soggy. For add ons its $2.00 each but the amount of basil and chicken we received felt like we might as well have left it off. Original price of 1 pizza is $12.99 plus add ons. One pizza with 2 add on toppings cost $16.99 total. Not really worth it because one person could eat 1 box of their pizza. Its so light. The focaccia bread is crunchy and thin. Not as tasty either. The only thing I liked from this restaurant was the Caesar salad. The salad looked clean and the large is enough for 2-3 people. No cooking involved with the salad tho. Ive had real Italian pizza but this was lacking flavor overall. It didnt feel authentic to me. Not saying their other items on the menu shouldnt be tried. But I was not a fan of their pizzas or their bread.

I love this little pizzeria! Mom and me had a veggie pizza with pepperoni and the bruschetta. We loved every bite and the fresh ingredients and house made cheese takes it to the next level. Brick oven pizza is the absolute best!

The pizza is really good the sauce is not to overwhelming and the cheese is really fresh,plus very flavorful. it s cooked to perfection,every pizza ever is always so greasy but this pizza wasn t. really nice and friendly service,we didn t even have to ask for refills they brought it before we could even ask. As a extremely picky eater this place was great. Marcus was an excellent server,so friendly! we will definitely come again

Pizza is honestly good and is the closest to actual Italian pizza that I have found in north texas, but is extremely overpriced. The size of the pizza compared to the price is bad I don t know what synonyms to use but it s just bad. (12 pizza is around $20. This usually only feeds one hungry person) nonetheless its fine for one night or special day. I wouldn t say the taste is good enough for me to come regularly or often because of the price.

We have ordered from Cavalli s before and enjoyed it so we decided to pay them a visit and really enjoyed the experience. Cavalli s is in Adriatica Village which has this amazing Tuscany feel to it. You walk into the restraint and you will see a nice little bar and a giant wood burning stove bearing their name on it. We were greeted by staff that was friendly and welcoming and decided to try the Margherita a extra pizza with mozzarella imported from Italy and it did not disappoint. Perfectly baked and the taste was amazing. Another great thing about wood fired pizza is that you don t have to wait long for it if you are hungry. We highly recommend Cavalli s for a nice pizza experience.

We had a group of 26 for lunch today at Cavalli Pizza Napoletana in McKinney. The food was delicious and the menu has a lot of great selections. The Eggplant Napoletana I had was amazing! Those at my table really enjoyed the Shrimp BLT Panini and others raved about the pizzas. Service by our waiter, Marcus, assisted by Tony, was exceptional. We had such a great time! Parking was easy. Highly recommend this place!!

Teenagers run the entire front of house. I came in tonight to pickup a DoorDash order. Not ready. Typical, wasn t expecting it to be. Was told 5-10 min. Great! I stood there for well over 20 minutes. Watched order after order go out the door while 3 of 4 items just sat there getting cold. I m assuming there was a remake on a pizza judging by how long it took for the fourth item to come out. Communication is key. Teach the kids to communicate. I was clearly frustrated and don t like to take it out on anyone - which i think i kept my cool considering, but y all can t act surprised when we are getting frustrated due to your lack of communication. At no point did anyone once say a thing to me, just chuckled to themselves when I audibly wondered what s going on with my order. I literally stood there for 15 minutes just waiting on the last item. Please do better with this. This is not the first time communication has been so poor. I won t ever give this place my money solely based on the experiences i have just trying to deliver your food.

Great location at the Adriatic village...this is a local Italian restaurant. We went on a date lunch on Valentines day and sat outside patio. Average ambience, Awesome Sangaria, delicious Pizza (tasked like wood fired) but the pasta was a little bland. Overall it was a good time spend on a sunny day.

I order pizzas to be ready for pick up at 630 so they will be fresh when i pick them up. They say no problem. I get a text at 608 they are ready. I get there and ask them why they were sitting there for 20 minutes. They say they were anticipating being busy. I get the pizza and the order is wrong. Their response... oh, sorry.... eat here at your own risk... just dont anticipate it to be right... or for them to care to make it right. This is not 2 large pizzas... mistakes happen... but offer to make it right

First time ordering and it will be the last! Ordered delivery and the pizza and all the ingredients were crushed into the side of the box. When I called the McKinney location to tell them they flat out told me they couldn t help me. The 2 pieces I could salvage were soggy and limp left to long on the steam table. Horrible quality and horrible guest service. Stay away from this pizza place!

We had dinner reservations for a party of 8 at 6pm and arrived around 5:50. We were pointed to a table and told that would be 10 minute or so as the party wraps up. However it was evident that party had just sat down. 45 minutes later we were still waiting. Another 20 minutes go by and it s clear other party is still in the middle of there meal. At this point the kids in our group were completely restless , finally I happened to go to the back and noticed there s was another empty table there the whole time and I asked if we could have that table and we re promptly seated there. Not sure why the restaurant did not think of that. Once we sat down food, and service was good , how the long wait despite reservations definitely impacted the experience.

Pricing and service was excellent for the style of pizza and the atmosphere. The pizzas themselves had good flavor but I found them to be overtopped for Neopolitan or artisan style pizzas. First off, this place is good... not great but its the only neopolitan pizza joint in town. We had kind of a frustrating experience last night. Ordered online got the confirmation of the order and showed up at the estimated time only to find the host says a person came and picked up my order 5 mins before, who does that, even after he says hell have them remake it he still didnt confirm my order. A couple of problems with this, first how long was my pizza sitting there before they gave it to someone else? Im sure everyone here knows neopolitan style needs to be eaten as close to when it comes out of the oven as possible, and while i know this is hard to achieve with takeout, its irritating knowing my pizza sat around before the time they requested I pick up. The kid host was nice I just wish they would actually confirm orders before they give them to random people. Lastly we got a noci salad the dry ingredients were nice. Beets, goat cheese, candied walnuts... great. The champagne dressing though? Nearly inedible to me and certainly inedible to my wife. The acidity was cranked to 12. After eating a few bites my mouth was raw like I had been eating sour candies all day. Dont get me wrong weve had several positive experiences but unfortunately about the same in unfavorable. I feel like this place could be much better if they could tighten up operations.
