Two playgrounds, walking sidewalk around perimeter, basketball court, plenty of room to play soccer, fly kit. Also, has covered seating as well as picnic tables around. During the warmer months they have a splash area. Playground: One kindergarten and up; the other is for preschool and younger.

Ash Woods Park is a nice community park for dog walks, kids playground, playpark, splash pad, basketball court, and open lawn. There are benches under huge trees (shaded areas). We have had a nice community sports day here. Every year the community celebrates Easter egg hunt for kids. There are toy train, inflatable slides and various other activities during that time. Holi also played at this park by community members. Often kids and adults play football, basketball, Frisbee. There is a covered/ uncovered sitting area near the splash pad and play park. There are swings, see-saw and slides. Garbage bins are available and are cleaned weekly. There are drinking water fountains for humans as well as dogs. Overall, it is a nice park to spend some time and get fresh air. This is April 2024 and the splash pad is actively open for kids.

Super nice park located inside a community. This park is big and has a lot to offer - a trail loop to walk or run around. Play area for kids to play, a small ground where you can run around, some woody areas with shade where you can have a family picnic, a basketball court where you can play ball! It has good parking space as well as it s located right next to an elementary school. Be sure to visit this spot if you are looking for some pleasant outdoor activities with family or friends. There is NO restroom here, so be prepared for it when you visit this park, but otherwise has all other amenities. Playground: There s lots of space for running around and it also has a basketball court for you to play ball. Some even play the game of cricket in this playground. Dog-friendliness: You can walk your dog here along the trail loop. Does not have any specific dog park though, so be sure to leash your dog. Picnic area: There are shaded woody areas which is perfect for a picnic spot or to rest after some good outdoor family time

Ash wood is a nice and buzzing place especially on weekends. I wouldnt that this is one of the best parks around but there is certainly something around for every age group that keeps you engaged.

Excellent park for daily walking and kids play. However there is no light in the evening after 7 pm its pitch dark need help and support from HOA to put atleast 4-10 night lights feel so unsafe for anyone to walk around.

It is a good decent park in a decent neighborhood. There is a trail for walk and run. There is a basketball court and slides for kids. The mooneyham school next to it has a basketball court too.

Lali s Brunch tour was an excellent way to spend Sunday afternoon. We were visiting family and decided to participate in the brunch tour. We ve done about a dozen food tours around the world and would rate this one among the best. Lali was an excellent guide. At each stop we were greeted with great hospitality - and terrific food. Ash Hollow offers a great place to explore Oregon Trail history. There is a museum overlooking the valley that has a lot of information from early Indians to the early settlers that came through on the Oregon Trail.Below the museum are sidewalks taking you down to a cave that was formerly inhabited and you can continue down to the bottom of the bluff to the natural spring used by immigrants. Although there are resting benches, this is a steep walk with a quite an incline.There is a short drive to an original rock school house, as well as a great picnic area. A couple miles away is Windlass Hill, where you can see the wagon ruts from where settlers lowered their wagons down the steep hill. There is a sidewalk to the top- this is a great hike, but very steep.

There were some people using the open field to play what looked like cricket, there was a basketball court and a covered seating area for me to sit at while I watched the kiddos play on the playground. There was also a cool metal statue-looking thing that evidently has buttons to press to make water come out! It was super fun.
