Attempting to try a new burger spot. I walk in and some young ladies are getting ice cream. I get in line. They complete their order. The lady taking orders then asked the lady behind me what she needs as if Im invisible. Completely ignored. Even though the lady behind me clearly arrived after me. I just left. Never felt so small. Ill never eat here.

The food is good. Hot and fresh and in pretty decent portions. I certainly got more fries than I cared to eat and too much food is such a non-problem to have. So why is this not any higher in rating? Pricing and safety. Goodness as each day goes by with prices rising more and more, this is simply not affordable anymore. One person getting a #1 with fries and a drink should not cost 20 dollars. I dont care that the burger is fresh I cant afford it. 15 was already kinda iffy feeling but there is just no way to responsibly pay that much for this. If this was a nice sit down family restaurant offering steaks and awesome blossoms and stuff too then maybe. Krusty Krab? Get out. With cheese Mr. Squidward indeed. Other issue was safety. Maybe I just came on a bad day at a bad time, but this place seems to attract the riff raff. Whole mob of a family rushes in the doors shoving others aside and taking up a quarter of the restaurant with their kids running around everywhere else tripping people as the adults sneet at them. Sneering and flaring their nostrils at the other customers, not their kids. Loud. Messy. Literally grabbing and shaking their tables as they quite literally screech like animals. I... I dont know what I just witnessed. You cant make this up. I didnt exactly feel safe and got out of there ASAP. Cops can deal with that.

I walked in at 11am when they first opened. No one greeted me David the manager was just staring at me and the cook came to the register proceeded to mumble and then he passed me off to another lady saying she would get me then she never said anything until I finally spoke up. I should have just walked out but I needed food. I understand they were completing an ice cream load drop from there distributor. But I have mixed emotions about other great reviews from this spot plus I m from Plano and grew up eating at the location by Plano senior high school. I think I may of caught them off guard but even with my experience there a more welcoming greeting / or even a hello what can I get started for you today . I ll be back to give it another shot!

We each ordered a burger. My wife got a lettuce wrap burger. I ordered the Medium, dbl patty (although the pic only shows one patty... it was added after the photo). Ketchup, mayo, JC Killer sauce (quite incredible and would be fantastic for dipping fries in), lettuce, pickles, onion. Everything was fresh - no old veggies. The seasoning on the burger was spot on. Really, really enjoyed my burger. There are 3 fries options, and I went with the sweet potato fries. These were VERY good... probably the best part of the meal. The only downside was the atmosphere wasnt much at all - certainly not enough to keep me away - it was very clean, just plain and looked like it hadnt been updated in quite a while. Its fine, just nothing to get excited about. This is one more great option for burgers around McKinney. Dietary restrictions: Low carb and GF options

This place is okay. The burgers are a bit bland and dry. The fries and onion rings are really good. These are some of the best onion rings Ive had. The sodas arent what they say they are. It says diet Dr. Pepper but its not. I drink diet Dr. Pepper nearly every day and this stuff taste weird. My friend with the Pepsi said the same. Its not just this time, I noticed it last time I was there too.

This place has excellent customer service, and the food is made to order. However, the beef on the burgers should be seasoned. The atmosphere is a bit dated, but the kitchen is open and things were clean. Price point is a bit high, but so is everything these days. Its been around a long time, so staying power is there. Weve been here several times but Im writing a review this time because yesterday our experience was exceptional. My family and I were there, I believe this place has the best tater tots I ever had in my life, just 1 man was there taking care of the business, he, single handed 5 orders for us delivering the most perfectly cooked burgers, crunchy tater tots and delicious shakes, how he does it? Ive never seen anyone doing such a remarkable well done job by himself, the best thing, he works with a big smile, makes you feel welcome to the place and for sure, he gives you the best food he can make, we all left happy, is worth every penny, By the way, The Nooner is fantastic!

Ordered 2 kids cheeseburger combos to go which tasted awesome. Burgers were great fries were great. Service was kind and thoughtful and I don t feel like i waited long for fresh food. I m disabled and the door was held open for me when i was leaving wow most companies don t do that. My purchase was Thursday June 22 and i m going to come back to confirm if it s just Thursday afternoon s that s awesome or everyday any day at JC s Burger House! Side note i wasn t sure why their google review rating was 4.3 overall until i read previous reviews and management explained bc of inflation. The burgers here are phenomenal. This restaurant has been a staple of the community for decades. Ate at JC s in Plano 25 years ago when I was very young. So many good memories and consistently good meals. Since then they have branched out and serve salads and chicken sandwiches. Have loved every menu item I ve tried. If you ve lived in North Dallas area for long you will find this is a local favorite!

We went for dinner. It took an hour to get our burgers that we have to go up to counter and ask for. Then 20 more minutes for burnt cheese Fries. We asked to get our new cheese fries and onion rings and shake to go and that took another 20 minutes. That was the most disappointing visit, the burger were dried out, fries burnt. Place is decent, I ve eaten here before it s ok . I ll definitely pay for an expensive meal if it s worth it. But the biggest thing that got me is I m paying $30 no drinks for 2 adults and a kid and expected to tip? Where do these fast food types get their idea of having their customers tip to make their food? Because of the tip procedure I won t come back. I do understand I can decline to tip but I shouldn t be put in that position, then my food can be spit on or dropped on the floor. This happens more often than you would think.

These burgers are really good. They are made fresh to order and have great favor. Me and my daughter both got The Nooner and loved it! My only compliant are the fries. Love their food but their manager needs to train the staff - they were a hot mess. The person taking my order did not take my name. The people working the grill & filling orders were disorganized and confused. They kept getting the orders confused. I waited 20 minutes which is a little long for a hamburger place. Great food, great service! The gentlemen who took our order treated us like VIPs. He took his take making sure our order was correct and was very polite. I was honestly so VERY happy to have found that there was still a JCs Burger House open, and especially so close to where we just moved. I was heartbroken in the early months of the pandemic when the location closest to us then closed without me realizing it. I am a BURGER LOVER and when we moved to Texas almost 4 years ago, JCs (Plano, I believe) was one of the first we visited. I immediately fell in love with the Tod-zilla, the awesome 1.5 lb burger! (The only negative for me is that the Tod-zilla doesnt come with any other dressings, only the meat, cheese and bun). My wife and daughters also loved it - the girls being 4 and 2 at the time, devoured a tremendous amount of fries! I knew this was our go-to place when my family visited from NJ, and my mother (who does not really care for burgers) did not stop talking about it for the next 6 months! I would have shared a photo... but none of it lasted long enough.

My meal was awful. Burgers were dry and the bacon chewy and barely edible. My fries looked like they were scooped from the bottom of the frier and didnt taste fresh at all. Food was soaked with grease. Bacon cheese fries had no taste. Bacon BBQ burger tasted bad. Fried pickles tasted bad. My wife liked her plain burger, but it was soggy by the time they finished cooking everything else. Nice staff, seem to be struggling to stay afloat. There is an up charge for beef right now, $1+ per burger. Got a buy one get one free coupon. Was still $19 for 3 burgers. They messed up the order but corrected it quickly. Burger was fine, but nothing special. I might try them again but I prefer most other specialty burger places.

I am absolutely coming back!!! I had the black bean burger and sweet potato fries with a Dr Pepper. This was not my cheat day (eatng delicious comfort , sinful foods), but man it was worth every satisfying bite.

I picked up 6 burgers for my family, and everyone was thoroughly impressed! The patty melt & barbecue burger were tasty and the bunless burger was remarkably flavorful. My hats off for the jalapeno bites actually being spicy, too.

1. The Southwest Chicken salad was a complete joke. It was supposed to be a mix of romaine and iceberg lettuce, chicken tomatoes, cheese, guacamole, onions with a chipotle ranch dressing. There was no romaine lettuce, had a boatload of onions and even though I asked for no avocado, I got avocado. Additionally, there was no chipotle in the dressing. 2. The cost was not worth the quality or taste of the burgers. 3. The extra fees for the meat based on pre-cooked weight was high.

Was one of my favorite places to get a burger. They raised the price of the burgers a little while back and now they are charging extra due to a beef shortage. A small cheeseburger is almost $9. We left. They can keep it for that price. Wont be good back.

Ordered from Google Eats an hour and a half early. Five minutes past the delivery window I received a message they rejected the order. Phone call. We had some WiFi problems at that time...sorry Boss . Fruity Pebbles for the kiddos!
