This has turned into a disappointment burger chain. They charge a premium price for a less than average burger. Also, take a look at their drink cups and they boast about all the awards they have received...a decade ago! Five guys, what awards have you received recently? Nothing. With too many grwat burger places around, you are not on the list for further consideration. I hope you guys get back in the game.

Cashier was friendly and polite. But when I got my food the recipe had catchup and mustard all over it. At first I let it go because it happens. Then when I came home. So Five Guys is an interesting case because its a chain that seems to have no consistent quality whatsoever. Your experience will vary from location to location in state to state. Ive had mediocre Five Guys and Five Guys providing the best burgers Ive ever eaten. Unfortunately this one is leaning towards mediocre. Just slightly though! Its the Five Guys of all time. Breaking it down, the first thing you will notice is the price. Yikes the price. Especially in this economy there is just no justification for these prices. 20 dollars for one person getting a burger and small side of fries, no drinks no tips. There are a good few places giving burgers of similar quality for 15, 17 with tips. That adds up fast. You just cant do it anymore. Burger quality! Size is okay. A little small horizontally but it makes up for it with how tall it is vertically and how thick the meat it. You will definitely feel the burger going down the hatch. Its a very soft meat. The sign says the burger is juicy and they do not lie. Expect sticky hands eating this. Honestly its a little much and I find the burger to be soggy. The meat also overpowers everything else. The toppings are thankfully free so I got the works, but I may as well have had meat on a bun with nothing else because you will not taste nor feel that texture. Not quite how I like my burgers but thats just me. Fries! This location gives quite a few! Not as many as some other Five Guys but definitely more than I received from one in Frisco. Fries are okay. They are covered in seasoning and a little too mushy for my preferences but theyre edible. If I was getting Five Guys from here for two people I would order one side of fries and share them. I noticed the food took a little while to actually make but at the same time you can very clearly see the staff as they make the food so it is what it is. Thats just how long it takes them to make it with their meat. I can wish it was a tad faster but its understandable and I can deal. The biggest problem and the problem everyone knows about when it comes to Five Guys is definitely the pricing. And as the economy gets worse and worse, so too does the pricing. Do not believe the comic book writers when they make Spider-Man gush about how Five Guys are the best burgers. He would be eating Five Guys because he would not be able to AFFORD eating Five Guys.

I don t know what it is, but employees in restaurants in the Dallas area are a little, let s say, special. This Five Guys seriously has the most special employees I ve ever come across. I kid you not, they re truly special. If they can be any slower, they wouldn t be moving, actually they really don t move. If you ask them a question, you ll get a blank stare as if you re speaking some alien language. The place is always dirty. Don t even dare to go into the restroom. IF YOU DONT LIKE YOUR JOB, THEN FIND ANOTHER! No one is making you work here. Five Guys corporate should be proud to have this location operating. Good job to all the employees here! Keep it up! On average, from my experience, FIVE GUYS service and hamburgers are good to excellent. The quality of their fries, burgers, and shakes varies from one location to another, but they should really only be one way, excellent to outstanding. I have included a picture of FIVE GUYS Boardwalk style fries. This photo is to show you what their fries are supposed to look like. They should have a soft mashed potato like inside, and be firm on the outside, BUT NOT CRISPY. I have come to like this style of French fries the best. The burgers have toasted Bakery FRESH BUNS, hot and juicy burger patties, and high quality fresh toppings of your choice. If your burger and /or fries are not satisfactory, just ask for the manager on duty, be polite, state your case, be honest, and you should get what is wrong corrected. As a paying customer of a high dollar burger and fries joint, you should have high expectations and stand your ground. Dont let a staff member who you think is not being polite or helpful ruin your experience.

Ordered from this location using doordash for delivery so cant comment on interior atmosphere I get a call from the store manager saying they are out of hamburger buns which is fine and they asked if we wanted to sub that for lettuce wraps or bowls we subbed that for bowls for the 2 burgers which comes in little tin pans the cajun fries were excellent but the most ridiculous and infuriating part was that we also had a plain grilled cheese on the order with no toppings and when that portion arrived it was in a tin pan as well but it is just 2 pieces of lettuce with slightly melted cheese in between which cost us almost $8 the manager never mentioned they were out of bread as well while talking as five guys has products like hot dogs as well if we would have known that they were out of bread we would have canceled that portion of the order immediately. If the restaurant was aware of lack of bread on top of burger buns they should have communicated that while on the phone to either me or the dasher that was they in person it would have been slightly better if lettuce was even on that portion of the order but it was not it was supposed to be just grilled chesse

This restaurant offers good food and service. The chocolate shake was excellent, fries were fresh and plentiful, and burgers were prepared as requested. I cant tell you how overrated this place is! I finally went to the one on University in McKinney. Firstly, it took FOREVER to finally get my order. Eaten at this specific location too many times to count, used to be acceptable, but Im done with Five Guys. I had a friend complain to me about Five Guys quality getting really bad but he wasnt kidding. I ordered a standard Bacon Cheeseburger and it came with no bacon, a bunch of onions, and about 1 drop of ketchup, 1 drop of mustard, and 1 drop of mayo. My cajun fries had cajun seasoning and NO salt. Just tasted like bland spicy potatoes. I order on the app because I want it to be faster. It doesnt seem to make a difference. The app says Were working on your order! but when I arrive I can see they arent even making it yet. In a hurry so I order on the app, arrive and it isnt ready. I wait FIFTEEN MINUTES for my food and when I get it its extremely dry with a ton of onions. Then I called the service hotline to complain (which I only do in extreme cases) and some Asian lady lies saying shes in the United States with THE THICKEST accent youve ever heard, as she prompts me for my name, address, phone number, store location, final price, order # (which is about 20 numbers long, super fun), at which point I stopped and exasperatedly asked Do we have to do all of this? and she said she had to fill out all of the information. Once I was done with my brief complaint she just said thank you for calling and rushed me off the line. They arent even pretending to care. So long, Five Guys. Never knew Id choose McDonalds over you.

Five guys just lost our business. We ordered online for pickup, when my husband got there they couldn t find our order. Then, they left my husband standing at the counter for over 20 mins without coming back, and wouldn t make eye contact with him for him to get their attention. He had to walk over and call them back to the counter. This location has really gone downhill. It needs some better management immediately.
