I just had my wedding at McKinney Flour Mill this past Saturday and I am not exaggerating when I say it is the absolute best venue possible. Not only is the space incredible and so worth every penny (you get SO MUCH TIME with the entire space with your booking), but the staff there is made up of some of the most genuine and helpful people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Planning an event can be stressful, but James, Pam, and Katelynn were with me every step of the way for a full year to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible and to check in on how I was feeling. I feel like I ve gotten to know these wonderful people well and I m so thankful I now have a relationship with them because they are truly the best. They work very hard to make your event unique to you while somehow managing to allow the space to hold onto its historical significance and charm. They also had a ton of beautiful renovations done before our big day including a MASSIVE expansion of their bridal suite (that extra space was a tremendous help). We only looked at one other venue just to be sure before officially booking our date (though we knew immediately the Mill was the place for us). Thank you to everyone at McKinney Flour Mill for giving us the experience of a lifetime. I cannot recommend and thank you guys enough. We highly recommend working with Pam at The Flour Mill. She is extremely personable, accommodating, and helpful. Our group has held 2 practice sessions at the venue and she has been a gem before, during, and after each session. This was once actually a flour mill. The owner has put a lot of time and money into into making it a great place for a wedding, party, or business event. Hopefully, he will be able to make the front building into a nice hotel.

Great venue. Medium/Large banquet/ball room. Its a great place to have a large gathering of people. I had been there for a wine tasting event. Its located very close to the VERY quaint McKinney downtown! The immediate locale is still very steampunk and early to mid-20th century industrial. Very chic!

The McKinney Flour Mill staff was exceptional in helping us get ready for our wedding reception we had in the Diamond Hall. The hall was a great canvas for our designer/planner to work with. The staff was very responsive and open-minded to our preferences for our event. We would recommend this venue to any couple looking to get married in McKinney TX.

I had the wedding of my dreams here. James is simply the best and great to work with. The venue is STUNNING and was a great price. I like that we could bring our own caterer as food was a huge deal to me. The bridal suite was a good size and we had access the entire day which is rare! Im sad its over! I highly recommend.

Nice renovation of rustic, historic (aka old) building. Very crowded inside with confusion regarding seating. Worst part was air conditioning was absolutely not adequate. It was hot and miserable inside with everyone sweating and many leaving before event was over.

What an wonderful experience the McKinney Flour Mill provided. Its were the past meets the present. You can feel once the construction is complete it will definitely be an tourist attraction. We visited the coffee shop, and they were wonderful. They were very friendly and even gave us a tour of their new shop opening in roughly 5 weeks. We will definitely go back. It looks like its going to be tons of fun.

We held a Kentucky Derby fundraising event for Carson s Crusaders Foundation (providing financial and sibling support for local families battling pediatric cancer) on May 7, 2022. Erin and her team were prompt and professional in the booking and preparation leading up to the event. We love the venue and the support provided. Thank you!! My son s rehearsal dinner at McKinney Flour Mill was perfect! We were in Main Street Station and it was absolutely the best setting for a sit down dinner for about 70 people. The day we toured the venue 8 months before we knew the search was over. It s rustic with a classy Texas flavor and downtown McKinney is hard to beat! Erin was wonderful and so helpful. She responded quickly to each of my emails and always had an answer or recommendation. She was so easy to work with. Erin and her staff were on site the day of as we set up and helped with set up and clean up after the event. It was the easiest event to host! Holly Viles Floral added the perfect touch to the farmhouse tables with flowers, lanterns, candles and wood stump centerpieces. We had so many compliments from our guests. Pappa s Catering was excellent as well! We rehearsed outside in the courtyard and served appetizers on the back porch. Perfect evening weather-wise in late March so we got lucky all the way around! My friend Fran whose now A Angel with wings wanted no funeral but a celebration of her life. The Bolin brothers and Sister-in-law s did it exactly like she d lived! The nostalgic feelings beautiful and several events appear can happen at once. Beautiful wedding reception venue it approved. Fran was smiling on her day! My husband and I got married at the McKinney Flour Mill in October 2021. It was perfect! Erin worked with us to make sure we had everything we needed, provided a suggested vendors lists and was very communicative throughout the entire planning process. We did the run of the mill package and got the wedding boss package too, meaning we got both of the rooms (one for ceremony and one for reception) and had Erin as our wedding boss to coordinate day-of matters and she help with month-of planning too as part of that add-on. She was great, the venue was great and we really enjoyed our wedding there. Definitely recommend!

Everything was absolutely beautiful for our wedding. We got married last Sunday and it could not have turned out any better than it did. We had the most amazing vendors that were responsive and extremely attentive to our needs and questions. Erin McCormack was absolutely amazing she was our Wedding Cordinator/ Wedding Boss for our wedding. She is so sweet, fun to be around, and most of all made sure that everything went smoothly. We used the preferred vendors and mobile DJ and I could not have been happier with the turn out. If you need a phenomenal photographer definitely hit up Whitney for HaleyKatherine Photography. I definitely recommend using the Mills for your next event and if you need someone that will help make sure your day goes flawlessly definitely hit up Erin!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at The Mill at East McKinney and it truly was a dream. Erin, the wedding coordinator, truly went out of her way to ensure that our day was perfect. My bridesmaids and I were able to still utilize the bridal suite although our ceremony was held at a church nearby the venue. This was something unheard of for other venues, so when Erin told us that she could accommodate for us, we immediately knew we struck gold with this venue. The bridal suite was large enough to comfortably fit my 10 bridesmaids, mothers of the groom/bride and myself. Erin went out of her way to coordinate with all of our other vendors weeks before our wedding day to ensure every vendor was on the same page. She also helped decorate the reception hall with our bridal party - how sweet is that?! By the end of our journey with The Mill at East McKinney, my husband and I truly felt like Erin was family. She truly cared about us throughout the whole process, communicated consistently with us and kept emphasizing how she wanted our wedding day to be the best day ever for us. Erin brought us complete peace, joy and excitement on our wedding day. On top of all of this, The Mill is an absolutely gorgeous rustic venue that keeps getting renovated and is located in the heart of downtown McKinney. Our guests absolutely loved the venue and we kept getting compliments all evening on how cute and rustic it was. Planning a wedding throughout a pandemic is as stressful as it seems, but Erin took so much of the stress off our shoulders. I have nothing but praise to offer for Erin and the Mill at East McKinney! We planned a rehearsal dinner in July of 2020. I love the ambiance of The Mills large room. It echos of history. Erin made herself available for us to tour the building as often as we needed and answered all of our questions. The venue has many options to explore as you plan your event. The Mill also has a list of fabulous caterers as you plan for your spread. Unfortunately, due to COVID, we had to cancel our rehearsal dinner. Erin worked with us and The Mill was very gracious as we dealt with all of the changes. In a heartbeat we would book again with this timeless venue if the situation presents itself! Erin & crew, thank you from the bottom of my heart for flexing with our situation! If you choose The Mill to celebrate your moment in history, you will have chosen a hidden treasure! I got married at the Mill last weekend. Erin did an incredible job and went above and beyond for us. My original wedding was cancelled due to COVID and Erin saved the day and put together a beautiful 10 person wedding for us. I have now planned two weddings with two venues in the DFW area and cannot recommend the Mill enough. The space is beautiful, they are easy to work with, and they even have two venue rooms for those hosting larger events. Whether you are planning a COVID elopement or planning your big wedding, the Mill is amazing and will do everything they can to make your day perfect.

This venue is amazing! The pictures are nice, but you will be in awe when you actually see it! My daughter is having her wedding and reception there in November 2018 and the whole planning process has been stress free. The owners truly care about every detail and want your day/event to be special. If you are looking for a venue...look no further the Flour Mill is amazing in every way from the look and layout to the design to the customer attention. I just cant say enough!

Awesome wedding venue and super coordinator! The Flour Mill is beautiful and was the perfect venue for our wedding. It s a very flexible venue you can keep simple or go crazy with decor. Using the onsite decoration closet saved us so much time and money. We used vases, votives, pillar candles, cake stands, books and various other pieces, but she had so much more! You really could have gone for any style. I told everyone that paying for coordination services with Andrea through Bliss Coordination was the best decision I made while planning the wedding. She was so helpful with answering questions leading up to the wedding. On the day of the wedding she kept everything on time and remembered every little thing. She went above and beyond in so many ways... including making an adorable toss bouquet out of extra flowers and even getting our car pulled around for our getaway when others weren t able to. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I m so happy we chose to have our wedding here!

We recently had our wedding here and it was absolutely amazing! Andrea was so helpful and really made everything go smoothly. We went with minimal decorations for the ceremony and reception since the venue has so much natural charm. We had around 110 guests and there was plenty of seating and dancing room for everyone. It is the perfect place for a ceremony and reception. I would also recommend having Andrea for the last month before your wedding because she is able to help break down everything by the hour and was so instrumental to having all the finishing touches done and everything going smoothly.

Just from the photographs we knew the Mckinney Flour Mill is what we wanted. We were blown away by their photographs that showed many beautiful aspects of the design of the venue. When we were touring venues, the Flour Mill was the first place that came to mind and in the end, the only one that stuck. I can truly say we were blown away by the beauty of every aspect of the venue. As soon as we finished the tour we knew it was the place where we wanted to get married. It has the perfect blend of industrial and rustic feel that really shows up in our wedding photos. We wanted the evening to have a candlelit feel and we were able to easily do that and everything turned out breathtakingly beautiful. It has a large venue feel without being a large venue that helped make our wedding feel cozy and not overcrowded. To top it off, the venue has an entire room full of accessories for rent that made it so much easier to decorate. When the day came, we simply picked the items out of the rental room that we wanted to decorate with, and set everything out. The only thing we needed to make the venue perfect was flowers. As for Bliss Coordination Events, I could go on for days about how awesome Andrea was throughout the entire process for our wedding. From being open to our ideas to allowing us the freedom to do what we wanted for our wedding, she helped guide us through the entire process. She made sure that the day of, no one from the wedding party or family had to run around making sure everything came together. With Andrea s help, we could focus on our wedding and enjoying the day. Every little touch Andrea added to our day, from making sure the schedule was followed to giving us a few minutes to be alone as husband and wife. I cannot speak highly enough about her attention to detail, her courteousness, her leadership, and her professionalism throughout our entire process from day one to wedding day -- it truly made the difference.

We had a great experience with The Flour Mill for our daughter and son-in-laws wedding. Beautiful and unique vintage venue made for a memorable evening and gorgeous pictures. Bringing in outside catering (not allowed at many other venues) helped keep the cost down. There is also a small room full of Pinterest-y things that can be used for centerpieces and decorations, for a reasonable additional fee, which was well worth it. Because there was no wedding on the Friday before our Saturday event, we were able to do most of the decorating the day before the wedding. We also used several of the preferred vendors from the list provided by The Flour Mill and were very pleased.

Our wedding at The Flour Mill in McKinney was the wedding of our dreams. Andrea was easy to work with and quick to reply to emails. The venue itself is historic and has a lot of character, which is why we chose it. We had a lot of international guests and wanted to give them a Texas feel. The lighting is also one of my favorite features. Love those hanging lights and the lit backdrop! It looked really nice in photos. McKinney square and The Grand Hotel were great compliments to the venue. Our guests loved the hotel and its proximity to the Flour Mill. The only issue we had with the venue is when asking about some technical aspects of the building. Our band required a certain power setup and no one at the venue could tell us if they definitely met the qualifications. The best answer we got is that it shouldnt be a problem, which doesnt seem like enough when youre about to drop $5k on a band that may or may not be able to play that venue! It did work out in the end, but it was a little frustrating at the time.

This is my first time writing a review and i have to say its a bad one. I gave it a two because it was a good experience until my wedding day. The night before both the groom and i had our bachelorette parties and we get a call from the coordinator at the flour mill saying she has something she needs to speak to us about regarding our center pieces. My husbands father spent HOURS making our center pieces. They were very unique. he cut down a whole truee to make stump candle abras. Yes they were gorgeous! After his dad made 2 we made sure he took pictures of the abras so that we could get the okay from flour mill that is was okay to use them. We discussed exactly what it was going to be and showed pictures. We were told it was Ok to use. The night before the wedding they decide to tell us we cant light any of the candles. Destroyed the look of everything. There wasnt any lighting because we were not allowed to use them. I was furious I personally didnt find out until the morning of my wedding what had happeend. I called the flour mill coordinator trying to get a hold of her the morning of my wedding and could not get in touch with her. she was supposed to be at the flour mill when i was and did not show until 4 and by this time i was already gone to do the first look. not only did that happen... but at the reception the coordinator and a security officer was there watching everything. Which is fine they need to do that for precausions, except they were not professional at all, it would be one thing if we had alcohol at our wedding but we didnt. we had many complaints from guests from our wedding that the security officer was rude to them. After the reception the security officer yelled at one of the ladies there that was helping clean up the smores bar saying they were taking things that were not theirs and this was not true.. it was all of our stuff that we bought and paid for. I wish i would have known this before i chose them. its a beautiful place but the service ruined everything. I want to write this review so at least someone will know this before using them.
