Last Sunday I was coming out of church service and saw Bad Ass coffee of Hawaii once again and I just had to stop and try. I ve seen this place a couple times but today I guess was the day. When I walked inside the cafe was so busy yet I was greeted with a cheerful aloha . It also looked awesome inside by the way!! I m not much for coffee and the lady taking my order didn t know too much either (no fault on her I get it) but Kayla I believe her name was stopped making drinks to ask me questions and give me options and suggestions. I absolutely loved the coffee and service. This will definitely be my go to place when I m craving a drink. Not to mention after handing me my drink she gave me a free sticker and 100% Kona coupon like how awesome man.

Loved the atmosphere. Couches were cushy and it was a nice bright quiet place. Would recommend for office away from the office. WiFi info was right on the front counter. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with Aloha ! Given time and recommendations on which coffee to choose as it was our first time. I have been to Hawaii and had coffee there. This is definitely comparable and love that they do use coconut and macadamia nut in some of their coffee choices! Dietary restrictions: They had milk alternatives and even GF options. Parking: Plenty of parking right next to the church. Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room for kids to sit while mom and dad enjoy coffee. Recommend bringing crayons and coloring books or tablets. Wheelchair accessibility: There was parking and ADA compliant doors.

My first visit, they were out of aioli, so I got the donuts & a caramel frappe. The frappe was pretty good, but I didnt enjoy the donuts. On my second visit, the aioli was back in stock, so I was able to try the grilled cheese... LOVED it! I also tried their coconut lemonade and enjoyed it more than I thought I would!!!! Its very refreshing and sweet! Im always out this way, so plan on swinging by more often! Great customer service!

Great little coffee shop. Super clean and cute inside, lots of different merchandise. Several different options to choose from even if you don t want coffee! Plenty of plugs to charge devices and tons of table space. Tried the Maple Wave Latte and it tasted good. The ice cubes are frozen coffee so you don t get watered down drinks!

Had a chance to visit the McKinney location yesterday. I must say that I absolutely love the vibe of this place. Ive been trying to go for the last several weeks finally got a chance to go. I ordered matcha for my son, and two other iced coffee drinks. I honestly forgot the names of the ones that we got but they were absolutely delicious. The coffee was a little strong but in a good way. Considering the fact that its Hawaiian coffee, I definitely expected this. I honestly Love strong coffee, as long as I can get a balance of the coffee and the other flavor. I most definitely did! The atmosphere was great and the employees were very friendly. I love the gear, like the t-shirts and coffee cups that you can actually purchase. They also have coffee that you can buy to brew at home. The name itself definitely matches this place. Their donuts and scones are absolutely fabulous. These are some of the best donuts that I have had in a long time. The texture and taste beats most of the donut shops that Ive gone to. Im a foodie and I do reviews all the time even on my social media. Yall must try! Vegetarian options: This location does offer non-dairy milk.

This is a MUST!!! I love Dutch Bros as a substitute for Starbucks; however, this place, in my opinion, has them BEAT! Though they were slow when I was there, the place was VERY clean (including the bathroom, and the coffee and sandwich taste AMAZING. I will definitely be back to make more purchases. The fact that it was not packed and super busy is mind blowing.

Seems like a new coffee shop as of July 2024, and the ambiance is nice with a spacious seating area. Staff is also friendly. While the tabletops were clean, the floor was filthy. The backpack that I placed on the floor picked up all sort of hair, dust and crumbs. Its good that the classic latte can be made with skim milk and still tasted quite good. The orange mango smoothie, however, was excessively sweet, and the app did not provide an option to opt out of the extra sugar in the recipe.

I came here twice through the drive-thru and honestly Im just not impressed with their coffee! The first time was a French press coffee which had coffee sludge on the bottom of my drink! Yuk!! That is NOT supposed to happen! I called and spoke to Caleb the Mgr and he was very professional and apologetic and offered me a free cup of coffee for next time. I went back and ordered a regular coffee, not French press, and a breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was tasty and the coffee was just ok. :/ However the two times I have been here the service was friendly and professional! :)

Service : 5 star service staff always smiling quick service with speciality drinks as well . Food : Loved their roast , I have been to Hawaii Kona and the coffee taste was on point . Several of us meet here on a weekly basis for coffee. We have tried quite a few McKinney coffee shops, and there is a reason we come back here. The owner is great, and we always have an enjoyable time. They are still getting on their feet, and you may have a service hiccup or two, and you may need to ask them to turn the music down so that you can hear each other. Have patience, because the coffee is good.

This is some of the best coffee Ive had from any establishment in a long while. In particular I used to always get the iced coffee and the twisted donuts. The service is also great, extremely nice employees and no hassle. However I do have one slight major issue. Im not sure who it is, a manager, store lead, somebody at this particular location, Id like to kindly ask, dont yell and curse out your employees in the store. Ive been here a good amount of times to notice that whoever is the lead, a much older gentleman than the possibly teenage employees, makes the other employees extremely uncomfortable and ruins the mood in this otherwise fun and cool little coffeshop. The employees are extremely nice and I havent had a bad experience with them, so I dont know what the issue is. There is being a stringent but fair lead and then there cursing out some poor girl,who looks like shes still in Highschool, in the store over I guess it was an error in a coffee batch. Repeatedly. This store is nice, dont ruin it.

I just went through the drive thru and ordered a lemonade with coconut foam and a frozen turtle kick. The lemonade tastes fresh and the coconut foam feels as light as a cloud with a well balanced coconut flavor. I think I would want a little more foam next time though. The frozen turtle kick is creamy, whipped and delicious. The coffee is very good! A few of the drinks arent correct on one of the websites I clicked on. When I pulled forward, the owner, Jason introduced himself and apologized. He gave me 25% off the order. Excellent service and I recommend them. I will be back!

Me and my wife have been waiting to try to place out. It was definitely a disappointment. Let s start by saying the coffee was probably 3 stars. But the service offering was poor. We went through drive thru, waited 20+ mins and we were only 3rd in line. Then the lady made me a medium when a paid for large. She offered to make it again but we had waited so long I couldn t wait any longer. I gave a tip before knowing the mishap was going to happen or it would take so long for the coffee. We spent $22 for one medium latte, one large latte (but got medium) and egg bites. I believe the issue is they have the person taking the drive thru orders is also taking the cash and making the coffee. I saw two people in the background not even doing anything. I hope if I give this place another shot the experience will be better.

Visited here because we went to the one in Hawaii. The cappuccino was too milky for me, but my wife had them remake it with 4 shots, and it was much better. I didnt try the pastries, but they looked like the same thing you would get at Starbucks. They really missed the boat on the decor. They could have made a nice lanai outside to sit at, and instead, you just get views and noise from the 75 highway. Its too bad. Some great hawaii themed seating could really make it a regular stop.

I WAS excited to experience a new coffee in town. I was disappointed. Firstly, no one greeted or acknowledged me when I picked up my mobile order. The latte was watered down. There was more flavor in the froth than in the latte. On top, quite expensive, in comparison to other coffee shops. $1.10 for coconut milk, others roughly $0.70.

Awesome coffee with an Aloha vibe right in McKinney! They do offer 100% Kona coffee, which is a rare find. There is coffee for any taste: you can get coffee with a splash of syrup (even sugar free), or a sweet drinkable treat with a splash of coffee - the sky is the limit! There are also typical malasadas, but more mainland take on it unlike traditional Hawaiian donuts. Smoothies and teas are also on the menu, and it looks like they are going to offer shaved ice soon.

This place is just getting opened, so I had to try it. This is the first one in DFW right on the service road next to the movie theater in McKinney. Branding, service and atmosphere are all really awesome, but the coffee is even better. I am kind of a coffee snob and hard to please, but I absolutely loved the coffee here. I had a cold brew and was so impressed that the ice cubes are actually coffee too, so no watered down taste if you dont shoot it down quickly. (Yay) Look out Starbucks, cuz this place really does live up to its name!
