I enjoy playing pickleball here. Crowded but with paddle stacking the rotation goes quickly and fairly. The rest of the park is really nice as well with lots of big trees providing shade. Play area and basketball courts are nice.

Such a friendly atmosphere! There are 8 pickleball courts, and it does get busy even in the early mornings, but that means you can always play with somebody. Most people are eager to help you learn and balance teams. I went their with my cousins and had a great time. It was about a 3-game wait between matches but it was about 5-7 minutes. Playground: VERY nice playground with all the basics but a lot of fancy additions Toilets: Ummm, the restrooms leaves a lot to be desired.

All the families who came to the park today sat on the stones and stayed under the sun to keep an eye on their children. I stayed under the sun with my 6-month-old daughter. Because the partying family had occupied all the tables next to the park and filled them with garbage... What does it mean to turn on loud speakers in the childrens playground? (No one has to listen to your club songs in the childrens playground... ) There is plenty of seating to celebrate a birthday. I dont understand why parties are allowed right next to the playground.

I was not expecting to find such a nice park here! I ventured out to play some Pokémon and followed a raid. The bathrooms were reasonable (I m picky lol) and the picnic areas are spread out. There is a really nice long paved walking path and adorable playgrounds. Highly recommend stopping by to play here. Playground: One playground for the big kids and one for the tots. They are right by each other. Toilets: The doors were wide open and felt safe and relatively clean for park bathrooms. Well lit and stocked with soap and paper towels on the weekend that I visited. Picnic area: There were at least three covered picnic areas and lots of benches and open tables for stopping in for a quick bite.

We just love this park. I have four grandchildren. Ive been here in McKinney for 10 years and this is the only Park we go to. Its well maintained. Its very diverse and a nice part to make wonderful memories and have lots of fun

I was very disappointed in this park, especially the splash pad. I understand that every item on the splash pad cant run a the same time. But, only one fixture at time would come on and it would stay on that item for 10-15 minutes. For some fixtures, that was OK because the fixture dispersed enough water that many kids could play at the same time. However, some of the fixtures only had 2-3 small streams of water that were not easily accessed by more than one or two kids and it was easy for selfish kids to simply block those streams leaving essentially no water fun for anybody else. Additionally, there was trash everywhere. I really the parks department isnt responsible for keeping the trash picked up. But, I started to pick up some of the more offending pieces of trash (bits of water balloons, etc.) I realized there werent a lot of trash cans around and especially close to the splash pad. If I am trying to monitor my kids, especially little ones, I dont want to have to wander very far to throw away trash. We will likely visit this park and splash pad again to see if the experience varies, but it was a disappointing first visit.

What a nice park! A great splash pad for kids and a clean playground. I like how some of the swings and climbing toys were under a shade even. The picnic tables were plentiful. I do wish they had some benches around the playground though.

The Splash Pad is amazing. I also like the fact that it has covered seating, which is nice during the summer months. Only 4 stars because a couple times when I took my kids there in the morning, someone was sleeping on the actual playground equipment. One time they even left a burning cigarette sitting on the bottom of the slide.

I have loved this place since I was 6. Nicely tucked away on downtown McKinney. I got my first splinter in the log fort playground back in 1990/1991, back when my daycare brought its own wax paper so we could slide faster. Brings back great memories!

Great variety of fun! They have a shaded park for Littles, and a bigger more obstacle course one for bigger kids. Plenty of swinging options and a great splash pad! Covered pavilion and plenty of shaded benches under a tree throughout the park. Theres a restroom, waking trail, basketball court and tennis courts.

This park is fun for the whole family! They are pavilions available for rent, grills available to use, plenty of seating, playgrounds and a splash pad for the kids of all ages and abilities, and tons of events occurring throughout the year at the park. McKinney hosted its annual Juneteenth celebration event this past weekend, and it was a blast!! Food trucks, music, smiles everywhere, and good old fun Playground: Several playgrounds which are fun for all children and abilities. Toilets: There are restrooms on site. Dog-friendliness: Dogs are welcome. Picnic area: There are picnic areas and many places to sit.
