We booked a 1.5 hr semi private party at the McKinney Play Street museum to celebrate my son s one year birthday party and had a wonderful time. Shannan, the owner/ manager, was friendly, communicative and creative. She has great experiences and a lot of good ideas about decorating. She was also very professional in helping move the party along and getting all the kids food and cake on time. When there s so much going on and so many guests to attend to, having a host there to help was amazing. The staff also helped to pack up all of the decor and food at the end and we left on time and happy.

My 21-month old son had so much fun! It wasn t busy at all and there was so much for him to do. It was so nice being able to let him roam around and knowing he was safe and having a blast. The employee was constantly reorganizing and cleaning things too. Highly recommend and we will definitely be coming back!

Aubrey works at the PSM located in McKinney. She is an amazing addition to your business. She was hard at work the entire time of our visit. She was so dedicated and very efficient. My kids like their farm theme the best. This one has a cow statue you can milk and some guinea pigs you can look at behind glass. We bought a 5 play pass a year ago and shortly after they changed their play sessions from 2 hours to 1.5 hours. They let us come play for back to back sessions once to make up for it. But to us it s not the same value anymore. It s a pretty short play session for older kids. Mostly we have seen younger kids here. And 1.5 hours is probably perfect for kids under 7 but doesn t really work for us. After using up our play pass we won t be back.

We have celebrated our son s 3rd bday there. The place is good for celebrating bdays as it will be reserved fully for the party and not for the outsides. We had a party time of 1.5 hrs which included 45 mins play and 45 mins party time. Kids enjoyed a lot but the party manager on that day was very rude and grumpy as she threw all the cake toppers of my son s bday cake in the trash. It had spiderman toys and rings for which the kids were waiting to wear at end of the party. But She threw all the party items in the trash without even asking us like the bday number candle which was unused, unopened juices, unopened chips, unused party table cloth. She was in hurry and didn t even mind asking us about the items before throwing . My kids were very happy on that day but as soon as they learned after coming home that she threw all the cake toys in the trash that were supposed to be in the cake box but it was not there they both started crying, which was really upsetting. I called them told about this behavior of hers. Overall its a good party place. The part manager was in hurry since we came there and was disturbing us in every 5 mins asking for the cake cutting. Literally she was asking us in every 5 mins wheather do you want me to cut the cake and distribute us. C mon who on the earth will ask the party manager to cut the cake by herself and not the bday kid??? Literally she asked us do you want me to cut the cake like in 1000 times .. what the hell was that?? Why on the earth would anyone want her to cut the cake insted of the bday boy?? Also if she felt that we may exceed the party time then she should have asked us politely that would you like to purchase an extra time but instead she was annoying. We know that if we exceed the party time we would have to pay more. I am little late in writing the review as we had some personal thing due to which i was unable to write it since the party day. FYI we celebrated our son s bday on October 15th. Also my husband gave 35$ tip to her, Which i think was a waste of money after realizing all these which she did.

Not everything is perfect. It is beautifully furnished, with lots of opportunities to play so that it doesnt get boring. There is a farm, a car and real hamsters. The possibility to build or paint with magnets. An illuminated wall or a legend for cloths. Also some really special things. But its strange that you only have 1.5 hours, which is very short ...

I recently had a birthday party I probably called like 20 times there was no answer left a few messages and nothing I was panicking because we were having a party that day and nothing. It was about 1:46pm that someone from there decided to call me asking if we were coming all they said was we were having phone issues but yet they called me from there. We felt very rushed to set up everything because again we didn t know if they were open I live in Farmers Branch and it s like a 40ish minute drive so I m freaking out. We set up when I finished setting up it was time to eat after the party was over we were going outside packing up some balloons didn t fit and my husband asked one of the girls if they could take them since they were about to throw the trash away and she said no because they were trying to set up for the next party my husband was like really you haven t taken the trash out we gave you a tip and everything and you can t even take balloons out to the trash he said we will never come here again.

I booked a private party for 4/29 and absolutely loved it. The staff was extremely helpful, the kids loved all the different play stations, and the adults loved the photo opportunities available. This was a great place for my 2 year old son and my 6 and 7 year old nephews to all play! There were so many activities and things to pretend play with, they all kept busy and really had fun! Everything was clean and neat (before the kids got there) and the staff was cleaning during our playtime to keep things sanitary. There was even a couple of real guinea pigs on the farm!

We had our Great nieces 3rd birthday party there yesterday. It was a very clean place. It has many different activities for the children my favorite was being able to milk the cow lol. They also had 2 adorable guinea pigs who were interesting to watch. As weird as this may sound the thing that impressed me the most was the temperature of the building. It was perfect & usually when youre in a public atmosphere such as this the temp. is either way to cold or way to hot. I believe this is the first time Ive ever been perfectly comfortable and it was great. The answer for the last question about the price for adults is that I have no idea. Reason being is that our nephew and niece, the babies parents, payed for the party so I honestly dont have a clue.

Great place for younger kids. We took a 2 & 3 yr old, and they seemed to love it. There are lots of activities to do independently and easy to monitor them. Ours loved the ice cream shop, doll house, milking the cow and making slime at the slime bar! (Thats a $7 upcharge, but worth it!) Perfect place for a cold or rainy day! BTW, each location has a different theme...We were in Mckinney and its all about the farm. The one in Plano is about outdoors... you can look them up.

So we went in with the mindset that we could use the play pass at any location, thats our fault though. So we didnt get to use our play pass this time. Then we were told we had to sign another waiver for this location, this would now be the 3rd waiver weve signed in less than a year since new management, so just a slight annoyance but its fine. The biggest issue I had was that we found a used bandaid on the ground after it had just opened and the music choice. You would think that since they now incorporate the time to clean in between playtimes now where there was none until new management, that they would clean up a very noticeable bandaid sitting on the floor where a baby or toddler might pick it up and do who know what with it. They were playing songs that were inappropriate for little kids in my opinion. They played that abcdefu song as well as the song by Billie eilish everything I wanted which is a super deep and dark song. I personally enjoy these songs but I dont think its the appropriate place to be playing songs like that. Overall, my daughter enjoyed her time with it all which is what matters in the end but I just wanted to bring to light out experience as parents. What we expose our kids to really matters to me.

Fun childrens play area filled with lots of pretend toys. This location is a farm theme. There was a farm truck and a cow you could milk. Lots of farm stuffed animals to care for. There is even real guinea pigs to look at. Food is allowed in a certain area. This is not a climbing play place.

I m pretty frustrated with this location. We love the actual play area but the reservations are not suitable for this business. There was one child playing in the entire place and we were turned away because we didn t make reservations. Conclusion is that we would much rather go to the Allen location because they don t turn us away, we don t have to make a reservation, and they accept kiddos at any time during the day to play. I hope soon mckinney playstreet will go to open play without reservations because they are definitely losing business.

My 4 year old twins thought this place was great it was organized and well put together with a variety of different activities from pretend play to interactive things on the wall. As well as educational stuff as well as flash card puzzles. They had a wide selection of mellisa and doug toys to choose from, as well as interact socially with others. I love this location. It s clean. The staff are friendly. They clean up frequently. My three year old asks to come here and anytime we enter a parking lot that even resembles this location, he asks to go play. This is not really the fault of the facility, but rather the patrons. I came on a day when a mommy play date was planned. They all brought their toddlers and babies, and lugged their giant strollers into the facility. While I think it s great to meet up, having grown women, strollers, bags, and infants lying in the middle of the center made it hard to play and was quite the disruption. There were at least 8 women and many with large strollers. They plopped everything into the middle of the playroom and had a mini get together. We haven t been back since. It s a shame because we were coming every week, and sometimes twice. Maybe I ll give it another try. So if you re making reservations, and you see nearly all spots taken, plan for a busy time. It might be a planned play date.

This place was great! Lots of focus on pretend play, building things, and art. There are so many activities that every kid will love it. Because there werent a billion kids, loud tvs, and obnoxious music, I was able to leave without feeling exhausted/drained. It our first visit to local museum. It is more suitable for kids under 5. Older kids enjoy if they like role plays in store, barn, etc.. There are lots of activities for kids to get themselves busy. Easily kids can spend more than 2 hours with full engagements. There are no charges for older kids and adults, so charge is for younger kids only. Painting, puzzles, tetrix games are present as well. There is a small gift shop with cool items for purchase. There are other activities available for purchase like slime creation, pottery making, pottery coloring. Owner helped us to dry the painting when we were leaving as the painting was not yet dry. So good customer service.

Love it. First time I went I was offered to tip which I felt odd with a high price and there was a sewage smell. Second time no such problem. Some adults with their masks down but employee quickly correct ed the issue when prompted.

Kids have lots to play with to build imagination.fine motor skills and gross motor skills. Big enough that everyone has plenty of space and things to play with, but small enough that you dont have to be 100% on top of your child to know where she is This is a bonus because it allows the children to be independent and explore on their own.

Went here for a birthday party. The staff was really great! All of the kids had a great time. Yoi can tell its geared for younger kids, but even the older ones enjoyed playing in all the different areas.

Had our babys 3rd birthday party at PSM and it was a HUGE hit! Bertha and her team helped set up, take down and with cake/guests. She made it so easy - I highly recommend this for a party. All the guests parents raved how cute the playrooms were - always clean facilities.

My family thoroughly loved The play street museum. There are plenty of toys in each themed area. The pretend ice cream store seemed to be the biggest hit. On top of the fun the kids had, they have Melissa and Doug brand toys for sale that are so reasonable prized. I bought quite a few things and my grandchildren havent stopped playing with the toys yet.

We have been here for my daughters 2nd bday with her cousin. They both had a good time there. The overall set-up was good and theme here is farm. Kids would definitely love this place and the staff is so courteous too. At the checkout kids will get a free drink and a snack. Its included in the entry ticket. I will definitely go once again. Thanks play street museum for making my daughters special day so special.

We celebrated our baby girls 2nd birthday party here. Bertha and Lauren made the process of booking this place so easy and stress free. We got constant reminders till the day of the party. Bertha and Samantha were beyond fabulous by helping us setup, organize and tear down. The place turned out so beautiful and everyone in the party wanted to come back for more. Very attentive and friendly employees. It was crowded mid morning, but employees worked hard to keep toys organized. This location has a bigger craft area than Frisco. Not as many separate areas as Frisco location, and the life sized cow scared my 2yo when it mooed loudly. Another mom said it scares her 3yo too.

All the Play Street Museums are great play areas for 3 to 8. 2- can with supervision. 9+ might be to old, depends on the kid. As a parent, I appreciate the clean, fully thought out and equipped play designs, different at each place. Check their photos and descriptions. These give me a non-electronic place to bring my kid for imaginative play not possible at home. (Because we dont have all these cool toys nor kid-sized play buildings and furniture.) Its also a cool place to play hide and seek / cold /warm / hot with a stuffed animal. Worth the not-bad price! Theres no time limit. We easily spend a couple hours each trip. Did a whole afternoon once. Great places!

Amazing place to bring your little ones to play! We went on a Tuesday at noon and it wasn t very busy at all, which was great! On the way out kids can buy a snack with a wooden dollar, which is great for transitioning out of the museum without a fight. Restrooms were very clean and the changing table is an actual changing table rather than one of those plastic ones.
