My fiancé and I have been coming here for the past week and have had an amazing time every single visit. I got hooked on the cheese curds so they are a must every time! Madison and Trevor at the bar are just amazing and make the experience even better. Madison even walked us through the menu! They have live music some nights and karaoke. my fiancee and i had such a great experience here after randomly searching for a bar this night. they had nice live music and it wasn t too crowded even on a football day. sat at the bar and trevor was tremendous! they have a good variety on tap and other things as well. we also got cheese curds that hit the spot. definitely might make this our thursday spot. thank you guys!! we spent about $40 for 4 drinks and cheese curds.

Honesty not the best place. My glass had lipstick on it. I ordered the mac and cheese bites and they came out still frozen in the middle. When I let the bartender know he says You can either get a refund or get them redone I felt that was a bit rude. Considering I already had to send my drink back with a dirty glass. OMG, my sister Connie brought us here while visiting her from Conroe, TX. The Margarita flight was amazing! Our table had the brisket grilled cheese and tots, lemon pepper wings and fries, onion rings, and the tempura fried steak fingers and green beans. Flavor and taste were spot on!! General Manager is a douche. I left my handicap plaque at home and the general manager wouldnt give me my food. I have a 1 inch lift on my shoe and have a handicap plaque that I use but because I didnt have it up on my car, the manager would not serve me. Although, I shouldnt have to I am happy to prove it to the general manager tomorrow. He made me move my car because I simply didnt have it with me. His first question wasnt Do you have a handicap sticker? He started as agressive and said You need to move or I wont give you your food. Edit: Yes I do keep editing it to address you. Due to respect, Im not worried because I do in fact have a handicap plaque. Im not lying or making it up. This look just makes you look bad for trying to bully a uber eats driver.

Acoustics in the building can make it more loud, but thats going to be almost anywhere. Food and service were great. My niece played her guitar and sang one night. Big fans of Brass Tap in Allen. Tried this location at 10:40pm for some fried cheese curds and a couple of drinks. Kitchen was closed, so cant rate the food here. But the staff really had us feeling like they were ready to close right then. We felt rushed and the staff watched the handful of parties that were in there as they wiped everything down and prepped the place for closing. So the place may be cleaner than the Allen location. But definitely not as inviting. Getting there with over an over until closing hours shouldve been fine for a couple of drinks. Thanks for rushing our night, without our kids in tow.

Great local strip mall chain bar with excellent wings and nice selection of craft beers on tap. Staff was friendly and funny, restaurant was very clean and they have a spacious patio available. My wife and I went in for Happy Hour yesterday. One of the happy hour specials was $6 premium liquor. I asked the bartender what their premium whiskeys were and also asked if Eagle Rare was on that list which he allowed my to assume that it was. I had 3 doubles on the rocks and was charged $86. Obviously shocked about it, the guy had no communication skills what so ever when I asked how this could happen when he knew damn well I was asking him about his happy hour. At the end of day my Tab was $150 for the following order: happy hour Shrimp (6 piece), happy hour pretzel, 3 whiskey pours and 2 Peach Bourbon Smash. They charged me $84 for 3 pours from a bottle of whiskey that costs $30 to $35. Bartender was completely numb and out of touch with his audience. Heres a guy asking about your happy hour specials, ordering food off your happy hour menu, but yet you let him assume hes ordering drinks off your happy hour, but is really ordering $28 servings of whiskey on the rocks. Every drink ordered was just about what the entire bottle of whiskey costs. Ridiculous and unacceptable.

Be prepared to be ignored. We love Brass Tap, especially on music bingo nights. But this location struggles at the bar. Your best bet if you want consistent service is to sit at a table. Do not sit at the bar - you will be given a drink and then ignored for half an hour even though you try to get their attention. And it s not the bartenders faults - the system is disorganized. They are trying to manage 20+ patrons at the bar AND make drinks for the entire restaurant, and I ve never seen more than two bartenders. On busy nights, it s not enough, and it shows. Figure it out, or we will just keep going to the Allen location!

Tried the new location for the first time. We won t be back! Walked in , no one was at the hostess stand, nobody greeted us. We finally figured out it was open seating. Found a spot to sit and realized the table was dirty. Asked our server politely if he could wipe it off. To say his annoyance was obvious is an understatement. After he finally came back to wipe the table, he then shoved menus in to my hand and walked away. Then proceeded to give us dirty looks while he was behind the bar. We decided to leave at that point. They need to learn that a smile goes a long way!

GREAT. EVERYTHING. Brass Tap has several locations in the area and this is absolutely one of the newest and best! We dined for lunch with two adults and an infant on the patio. Service was FLAWLESS! Laura tended bar AND provided immaculate patio service. We had several adult beverages, all of which came out promptly and perfectly! We also ordered the Brussels sprouts appetizer, which was AMAZING (recommend a side of ranch to complement the Sweet Heat BBQ sauce it comes with) and a Cauliflower crust Buffalo Chicken pizza. The pizza actually came out on regular crust, which we unfortunately could not accept (Keto diet), but they went truly above and beyond to correct this for us!! This was our first time at this new location and the whole experience was just EXCELLENT, from start to finish. Customers for life and cant wait to return!! Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options, including amazing roasted Brussels sproutsand Buffalo cauliflower bites! This was one of the worst restaurant/food experiences I ve ever had. There were fruit flys coming out of the walls. They definitely have an issue and tried to claim it was from opening the windows. Definitely not true. It was hard to eat because flies were all over the food. The food was not very good. We got the triple dips - guac, queso, and salsa. The queso was ok. The guac was from a package and salsa tasted like picante. The pizza was just ok. The chicken bacon wrap was just ok but hard to eat because of the flies. The Brussels sprouts were not cooked-don t order these!

Do not order the breaded chicken wings. The menu says lightly breaded, mine was at least 1/2 inch thick. It was awful. Told the waitress and she said she knew and she tells them all the time but they will not change. She said they just dredge, dredge and drege. We came here on a Saturday night at about 10:30pm. It was quiet inside with only a customer or two there. The food & drinks were good. I only had a pretzel (which was good) but other people in my party had the pizza and they raved about it. They have nice big TVs as well. During football season, it will be a nice place to grab food.

Amazing place for many food favorites. I got the wings extra crispy. The dry rub have more heat, so that is a must. The burger has a great tasting bun and was cooked perfect. The tots were a good addition. A must try in McKinney.

A/C was out and it was hot for our family with small children and us. Management did not acknowledge this to us or and other customers. This is a direct reflection on poor management . When it s over 90 degrees inside and they don t compensate the customers in any way shows they don t care. We will not be returning and left a negative feedback on TripAdvisor . Good luck!!

My experience was ok they have about 75 beers on tap.. bartenders are nice and food was pretty good. I had the fish tacos. It gets pretty warm in there, so if your hot natured its not for you! Its smaller than I thought it would be looks kinda like a WIng place. Not your typical draft house kind of place.

We ve been here a few times and I wanted to give them a few chances before writing this review. We absolutely love the location, as we have frequented the Brass Tap in Allen for years, and we were super excited to have one by our house. Unfortunately, our experiences here have been less than stellar. Our first visit has us chasing down a menu after being seated for a long time. Only after visiting the bar did someone come over to our table. Also, our initial food order was incorrect. After waiting an extremely long time for an appetizer, we weren t excited about the idea of waiting for a replacement at that time. Our second visit was an improvement. The service was quicker, but again we had issues with people at our table ordering one item and receiving another. We would love this place to succeed, as these all feel like operational issues. Hopefully they continue to iron things out, but as of right now I would recommend driving the extra 10 minutes to Allen for a superior experience.

Went in this last Sunday for the first time. We had high expectations as we ve enjoyed several other Brass Taps over the years. Unfortunately we had to walk out after sitting at the bar for 10 minutes without acknowledgement. Manager/Owner was just chit chatting with another worker at the end of the bar. I got up and waved at several servers and the Manager/Owner but they looked right past me. There was another couple who came in a few minutes after us and they looked frustrated as well. Im hoping they can improve and turn their service around.

Love brass tap and so glad there is a location closer. Derek, our server, was awesome. He is attentive, has great people skills and reads the table well. The atmosphere is great, in the daytime it is very laid back. I highly recommend the hot honey pizza which is delicious and can easily be shared with another person or 2. Also recommend the chocolate chip lava cookie and ice cream. Will be back often.

The 19th iteration of this chain, youd think the manager would be better and the waitress training would be more thorough. The food was excellent, the only complaint I have is the Panchos tater tot nachos was very small, especially for $9. I know how much a bag of tots is so you can put twice as many tots on that dish and still make a great margin. The manager never came by to ask us about our experience, probably because he was busy flirting with the 3 cute little waitresses the entire time we were there. Not giving up on this place but it better improve next time or were on to one of their competitors.

Cold beer, hot fried cheese curds. Service was good, the restaurant is about as comfortable as it cane be and at 5:30 pm, it was quite busy. I think I got the last parking space in the lot. This didnt seem like the sort of place where they encourage people to stay. Its thank you very much and turn the table. Parking: Lots gets full on a busy night.

Was looking forward to the shine of a new BT location having recently opened. First the good: Ordered chicken tenders, BBQ mac cheese bites, and a couple beers. All very tasty. 5/5 stars there. Now the bad: Sat outside, quite dirty, trash all over the ground under the tables, table wasnt wiped down, brought the pup, had to take trash out of his mouth multiple times, he wasnt even offered any water to help the trash go down. Wait times to be served and to get food was beyond long, and it wasnt very busy. Starter came out with the entrees, defeats the purpose. Server was quite inexperienced, kept fumbling with his handheld computer to take our order, had to repeat many times. When leaving tip he just stood there staring at the screen while I did it, thats a first. He also didnt know beers, I asked what kind of Belgian style a beer was, instead of saying I dont know he said well its a Belgian style. About as diverse a group can be, Belgian styles. Sure. I looked it up, got my answer. Finally, better to go during Happy Hour, otherwise quite expensive. 1/5 stars. Averaged good with the bad, 3/5 star overall rating. There are just too many other great sports bars/tap houses to go in the area. Wont be back for a while. Worried about what it will be like once whats left of the new shine wears off entirely. Let me start by saying I am fan of brasstaps. I like the tap variety and also like their happy hours. Reason for my 3 star about food as follows: we order chicken nachos and size is good. Doesn t have enough Salsa and when I asked for it they charged money for it. Other than that I really liked the staff, environment and variety of beer. I may have to take advantage of happy hour next visit on either key point I would like to mention, all the out door seats are very dusty, hope the management will put focus to keep them cleaned after each customer.

Taylor and the girls ROCK out the bar. Very friendly and attentive and always rocking smiles topped with great energy. this Mckinney location is by far my favorite. The ambience of the open garage doors for good synergy glow, especially on beautiful days. Live band music on weekend was awesome, not overbearing. Food always delicious. We were really looking forward to trying this location out since we love the Brass Tap in Allen. Unfortunately we will probably stick to the Allen location. I asked for a beer menu and was told that they didnt have one and I would need to download the app. I didnt really want to download an app but did and found it cumbersome to dig through the selections. The first beer I ordered she said they didnt actually have even though it was listed on the app for their location. Later in our meal we saw someone at the bar get a paper beer menu so not sure why I couldnt get one. After getting everything ordered we waited about 30 minutes for our appetizer to be brought out and another 15 for our food. It was pretty busy so that didnt bother us too much but the waitress never stopped back by to check on us or refill our drinks. I ordered the nachos for my meal and it was a giant plate of chips with with almost no cheese or toppings so had to request a cup of queso. One of the other orders did not come out as ordered but was still good. Food was on par with other Brass Tap locations otherwise. We were in the restaurant for 1 hour and 45 minutes and the waitress never stopped by our table except when we flagged her down twice to get drink refills. She was definitely busy and running so Im not sure if maybe they were understaffed, but regardless the service was not great. Hopefully its just a new restaurant working out the kinks.

Had the steak tacos, they came out pretty quickly given it was super busy. The bartenders both were helpful in ensuring i had a drink and staying on top of my needs. Had a very live and upbeat atmosphere. I believe this location just opened up, i think the staff did a phenomenal job servicing the large volume overall.
