I ve been paying attention to how I ve been feeling lately .I think we got it! I haven t had any mood swings, not the raging kind anyway. My hot flashes are minimal to none. I ve had more energy. I see Jennifer Perez for Hashimotos and all the symptoms that go with it. She runs full thyroid panels not just TSH, listens to my symptoms, tests accordingly and explains everything. I felt much better within a couple of months of my 1st visit. I drive 12 hours to see her once a year and use telemed the rest of the year. Ive wasted money on other doctors so the drive and feeling better are well worth it. Jennifer knows what shes doing and I am feeling much better. Shes great to work with and my husband is seeing her now, too.

Jennifer has been awesome to work with. She takes the time to listen to my concerns and communicates well. She is truly concerned for your health. Both my wife and I have used her office for hormone replacement therapy and feel better than we have in years. Jennifer s decision to order a particular blood test changed how my diabetes is managed a test my endocrinologist never ordered in the 5 years I have been going to them. She has a great knowledge of supplements. I can t speak highly enough of the impact she has had on our health and quality of life.

If you care about your wife and her wel beinf and her happiness. Please do not let her visit this dr. she lies. Misleads you. She claims things then when you research it s not even true. She likes to claim she s an expert at what? Not listening to your patients needs wants and well being? Then yes! 5 stars for you there. You lied to my wife. Told her things that aren t true. Then when she asked questions you took offense and continued on your way. Your customer service skills is very lacking. Take a course or 2 on customer service to understand how a patient should be treated. But seriously. If you want your wife to be happy. Don t believe these reviews. She claims to be perfect. Wrong. After 2 years of visiting 7 different OBGYN, 2 endocrinologist, and lost count of family doctors for Anxiety, depression, uncontrollable weight gain, adrenal fatigue, and more! visiting NP Perez was my last string of hope. This place is amazing! I had lost hope of ever feeling normal again and even forgot what it felt like to feel myself, but Jennifer got me there. Before coming here I literally felt helpless and hopeless. I was constantly tired, mood swings, no energy, absolute no chance of losing weight and just utterly defeated. While my journey isnt at its end or at my ultimate goal one thing BIG thing has changed for me. I have HOPE! Where my PCPs medication have given me no help in fact those prescriptions just made me feel like I was poisoning my body -Jennifer has helped me find a balance of something that works for me. Her office and patient care is uncommon and beyond reproach. Ive lived in the valley all my life and have only been to a handful of places that actually care for their patients, make you feel comfortable and do things in a timely manner like this place. Worried youll forget what your consult is about? Jennifer gives you a DETAILED outline of your visit with notes you talked about. Have questions? They have a patient portal that they actually REPLY in a timely manner! I was blown away by the patient care and I cant thank her enough. Trust is hard to give (especially in Healthcare) and Im so blessed and thankful to have found this gem of a facility. No your insurance may not cover the consults but every dime spent was well worth it in my eyes based on all of the time, medications and tests Ive done elsewhere and had no positive outcome. Other medical professionals treat your symptoms and throw prescriptions at it with no regard to how this affects the rest of your body and Jennifer helps to get to the root cause. I met Jennifer Perez, when I was about to give up on Drs, completely. I had been to countless traditional drs and functional medicine providers, for years, that only made me worse or flat out didn t know what they were doing. I ll be honest, my case is very complex and I ve had to do a lot of research for myself. Other drs gave up on me, they couldn t help. For years I had not felt like myself. I was regularly dealing with sever exhaustion and other symptoms. But, the exhaustion was the most frustrating one of all. It would just sneak up on me. I would be feeling good and all of the sudden I would feel this warm sensation traveling through my spin and throughout my whole body. I would feel warm, feverish, chilly and I was done for the day. I would get so weak, that I would curl up in a ball and go to bed. I addressed this issue several times with my family doctor, OBGYN and endocrinologist, and NOT one could tell me what was causing it. They ran blood work and other exams on me and NOTHING! After a while, I felt like they did not believe me. One even suggested that maybe I was depressed and it was all in my head. I shut that down quick. I know my body, it was not depression causing my symptoms. I was referred to Jennifer by a good friend of mine. Me contacting Jennifer was the BEST decision I have made regarding my medical care. She listened to everything I had to say and made me feel sure of myself. She believed everything I was feeling was true. She went over all my blood work in detail. She personalized a treatment plan for me. A week into my treatment, I was feeling like myself again. And NOT once since then have I experienced sever exhaustion. 3 PCPs later and I FINALLY found the one practitioner who cared enough to listen and get to the root of my it s in your head problems. Normal blood work results weren t cutting it. I would go in to my regular dr with health concerns and would walk out of them with a possible drug problem (they tried to prescribe anxiety medications every single time). I didn t need bandaids ( ) I needed Someone to find the root of my health issues!! Today, I am finally feeling like myself again, and I will forever be grateful for finding Jennifer! Let me tell you all about this wonderful woman right here!! As you all know my daughter has had a tough journey in life, her mental health had gotten in the way of living her life to the fullest. Since middle school we have been trying to help her find her happiness, countless dr appointments, countless medications, many inpatient hospital stays. Electroconvulsive Therapy, Ketamine infusions and the list goes on. We were literally running out of options to save her. After seeing Jenni Lefner Perez posts about how she can possibly help someone who is dealing with depression and other issues I reached out to her. I explained everything that my daughter has been through in hopes she could help us. We made an appointment and everything she told us sounded promising, a possible light at the end of the tunnel. Im so thankful that NP Jennifer Perez has opened an office in Mcallen! I have been feeling ill for many many months with continual weight gain, brain fog, restless sleep, thinning hair, daytime fatigue and joint inflammation/injuries (to name a few). I felt like my body wasnt even mine anymore. I have gone to many doctors that would say youre normal but I knew something wasnt right. They felt they knew my body better than I did. Sometimes normal isnt optimal! During my first office visit, I explained everything that I was feeling and how frustrated I was. She listened and was very empathetic! She did not brush me off or discount what I was going through. When she looked at my bloodwork, she brought up several things that no doctor has ever touched on and validated the symptoms I was experiencing. I first met Jen in December with several ailments, which included brain fog, not being able to sleep, and tiredness with aches and pains, which I figured had to do with getting older(54 years old). I went to Jen in December 2021, and she explained my ailments; most importantly, she listened and was not in a hurry to rush me out the door. Long story short, I received my first hormone replacement pellet in January 2022 and felt much better by the first week. My aches and pains were gone, and I found myself sleeping and staying asleep. I finally feel like someone is finally listing to me regarding my issues with my hormones. I have struggled with weight gain, fatigue, blurred vision, dry skin, thinning hair etc. I felt hopeless, sad and bitter. I thought the way I felt was a part of aging. After searching for 9 years, I finally found help from Jennifer Perez at Vitality Hormone and Wellness Center, with my desperate search to find myself again. NP Perez is amazing! She spent lots of time with my husband and I and she was much more thorough than our previous traditional medicine providers, especially when investigating the root cause of our health issues. She does not do just a routine check up. She considers family history, diet, lifestyle, and future goals to improve quality of life. NP Perez also saved my daughter s life. As a young female, my daughter experienced high anxiety and depression. Through thorough testing, NP Perez discovered hormone imbalances and a genetic mutation were the root cause of these conditions. Through proper nutrition and recommended supplements, my daughter was able to turn things around and is no longer dependent on traditional medicine doctors, who frankly, just kept writing prescriptions for drugs. NP Perez can write scripts if needed, but it is not her first course of action. She looks at the body as a whole and how it functions. NP Perez is one of only physician that took the time to listen to my concerns.she was able to show me I wasn t crazy. That in fact something was wrong.
