Food is usually good but the service to order by phone is just horrible. Went to the store to explain what happen the manager blamed the new AI system they have. Not much of an AI I would say if you can t get reconnected to the customer on the phone. Manager didn t even try to help, just say I am sorry for the system but let me help you order what you want and I ll push it to get out as soon as possible. That would of been the best solution to a customer that is angry.

Why charge for Sriracha? As a business owner, I appreciate the incorporation of ai to be innovative and efficient with to-go orders but understand that as a guest, if I m not interacting with a human, don t expect a tip. Also, charging for sriracha is outlandish. It should be factored into your cost of goods sold. That s like charging for ketchup. Who does that? On top of that, if I m going to be charged for it, at least give me a fresh product. My sauce looked suspiciously more green than red so I wasn t going to risk a stomach bug, and used my own from the fridge. The earth roll I ordered was still good but after this 3rd disappointment, I m going to side with other friends who say Kumori has gone down hill and will stick with other local options.

I was excited to go to Ku morí, unfortunately when I was seated, everything change, I notice lots of flies everywhere, I know the location is going thru remodel but there is an unpleasant odor in the entire restaurant, lots of flies and can t help it to see the ugly stains on the long couch against the wall, (lots of companies that clean fabrics, or change it to vinyl) we sat next to the bar, which I also notice the blender cup, the mixers and entire bar area is not very clean, the lady in charge had no clients, and instead of doing deep cleaning she is just there. Manager in charge came and ask us if we need it anything, later on I did saw the owner that came in, I would think they would notice this things, specially the huge flies. food has always being great but the place needs to be clean. I know will NOT visit this location again. The smell is almost as if you are in a restroom in las Flores Mexico.

This place keeps getting worse. The staff is mostly ran by teenagers and they don t care about customer service anymore. They don t care if they bring the food extremely late, don t tend to the tables at all for drinks or concerns. Have I mentioned how this place smells like wet carpet? The wallpaper is peeled off some places, there is dust on their wood wall puzzle area, and the couch seats are black with dirt and food from Years of not being cleaned and tended to. Hope the City cracks down on you soon.

Used to be one of my favorite sushi spots, but I came here for lunch recently and was just absolutely appalled by how downhill things have gone. Our server, Tomas, was barely around, barely said anything to us, never checked back in for refills or to ask us how our food was unless we made a fool of ourselves repeatedly trying to flag him down. But even worse than the service was the food, my sushi just fell apart all over my plate worse it tasted like straight-up *chemicals*, and my girlfriends teriyaki chicken bowl had barely any chicken at all. Wish I could say this place lived up to the experiences Ive had here before, but recently its been all bad.

I received a chicken teriyaki bowl, though I had clearly ordered beef - a point my colleague can vouch for. But lets set that aside. The main issue was that the chicken teriyaki bowl was heavy on rice, with minimal chicken portions that didnt even equate to half a chicken breast. Similarly, the sushi was dominated by rice, falling short on protein and vegetables. If youre a fan of rice-centric dishes, this might be the place for you.

I really enjoyed this location. Had eaten at one in the mid-valley and wasnt too pleased, but this one was very delicious. Everything we ordered was super fresh. Our waiter was Hector, and he was very helpful in making our dining experience one to remember. Service was amazing. Had an opportunity to speak to the manager, and he also ensured our dining experience was a good one. Service was also fast, which helped us get out quickly to go on about our day. I only gave the atmosphere a 3 because I sat where the bar was and didnt really see the entire restaurant. Will definitely make this our new sushi spot

Rolls were 90% rice. The whole restaurant feels dirty. The restroom floors are covered in toilet paper and the paper towel dispenser is broken like someone punched it in. Service was okay at best. The whole staff looks like a bunch of high school kids and there seems to be no known manager presence. At one point I watched as the person I assume is the manager huddled around with some of the cooks talking and showing them stuff on his phone. We didn t get offered any miso soup, instead the busser was chilling on his phone. It seems like all the Kumori locations are going to waste. Do better please.

I complained to the waitress about the meat not tasting fresh (more like frozen) or previously cooked and reheated. The waitress then stated the manager said it was portion. I was not referring to the amount of meat on the plate. The waitress was very nice and attentive. Also, important to mention they did not have hot sauce or siracha (really in a sushi/ Teppanyaki place). Manager never approach us and addressed our concerns. Won t be going back or recommending to family and friends.

I wish I could give zero stars.Horrible customer service, the guy who brings the miso soups almost threw a boiling hot soup on me, he didn t put it gently , he literally almost threw it and would have caused a horrible accident, he was so rude and giving me faces. When we were paying our server took the card processor from our hands and we couldn t give an honest opinion about our visit.Our server was not attentive at all, most of the people were gossiping instead of working. The bathrooms are disgusting.The silverware was also dusty.The food is okay but honestly I wouldn t recommend to anyone because of the horrible customer service.

I wish I can give this restaurant a Zero Stars. Save your money and do not eat here. Servers are terrible, the food is always off because they bring you something you did not order. Servers are always standing on the bar talking to the bartender and checking their phones and that is why they take long to bring the food, drinks, and also the tab so we can pay. There is no air-condition, there is very little light, we had to used our cellphones flashlight to read the menus, and the smell inside the restaurant is so bad. I really hope the owners really sees my review. Your restaurant is going down hill with all those things that I have mention.

Kumori is downgrading in service & food. Place need a deep cleaning everywhere. Chairs, carpet, restrooms, booths, and dont want to even imagine the kitchen. The phone has not been answer in the 5 times i have tried to make an order or pick up in the past 2 weeks, I started using the app but no luck on getting food on the curbside because NO ONE ANSWER THE PHONE (do not offer services you dont have). The menu, defenetly I prefer the old one. February 20th was my last order to go, food was far from good, my fried rice with vegetables was mixed with white rice and 5 little pieces of vegetables. A basic yakimeshi order not complete. Hope management gets on top of this,.

Excellent service. Excellent rolls. But management desperately needs to fix the smell of sewerage. Trying to cover it up by blasting cheap airfreshener pretty much made it worse. They have had this problem for a while...we thought it would of been resolved by now. Until this problem is fixed I do not recommend dinning in....take out only!

Good sushi with a lot of variety to choose from. Food was fresh and tasty and the service was prompt. We started with the gyoza and ordered 4 rolls of sushi between us (favorites were the kalypso and the rock shrimp rolls), then finished off with the tempura cheesecake.

Fallen from Grace This used to be one of my top restaurants; at one time even going thrice a week since inception about 13 years ago if I recall correctly. So Kumori, what happened? oh thats right COVID happened- so this is the perfect excuse to keep the unfixed sewage smell problem latent, to keep the restrooms smelling like....COVID? (dirty and smelly), and to have mediocre customer service and old splattered food residue on furniture and fixtures? correct, blame it on the nasty virus. Well, let me break it to you, if you cant handle it just stop serving people. And I will not bore readers with examples of issues but probably the most noteworthy as is the new jalapeno bomber compared to the old version; what a difference; suffice to say that what made you split it into dry unsavory slices? the whole purpose was to keep the cream chesse melted and warm inside of the jalapaneo peeper so as when cut one could hear the crunch and then all the cheese come out oozing out mixing it with the sauces and voila....magic. Now unfortunately, no magic. As far as the menu, I believe, about 3 dozen of the old traditional rolls out the menu; why would you remove from the menu rolls that have been there for a dozen years? and peoples favorites?......sad. And lastly the excellent customer service all but gone. Well, Kumori, it seems the long wait, 2 years, before visiting again was all but worthless, but on the positive side of things, it was good while it lasted.

Do not go here unless you want you wait 20 minutes past the time it was supposed to be ready because employees are busy talking to each other in the back. I had to ask for my to-go meal 3 time before they finally came. This is not the first time it has happened. Never going back!
