Bug in a soup I came in to have a meal during lunch and ordered the beef pho. I m not sure if there was more considering I got through half of the bowl. Pretty gross. I m leaving 2 stars instead of one since employees were quick to provide a refund. Hoping I don t get ill from eating here.

A+++++ Garlic noodles and Gumbo off the HOOK. Keep up the great cookin. 5 years later and the food is still wonderful. Seafood Gumbo could use a bit more seafood. Also Crawfish Empanadas excellent also light on the Crawfish. Will be back for sure.

I was craving a crawfish boil and that is what I got. The flavor was good, as expected, but when I placed the order for the crawfish, I was asked if amd ow many corns and or potatoes I wanted. I was confused because other places sell the boil with potatoes and corn already. Also, if you are in the mood for a beer or michelada, I do not recommend it , the michelada is like a cup of lime and Tabasco sauce .

The cashier is a rude and untreatable person, unfortunate for a successful business to have people like it! With 15 minutes left to close, he asked us to eat at the place and we said yes, his answer was they have until 10:pm to eat, if you like to stay, eat quickly, You can stay ahead...! I come here all the time when I m in the valley and one thing that I ve noticed is that it s always hot in there but the food is really good. I will always come here when I m working down here. I got the crawfish pho and a pound of shrimp. I ve also gotten fried rice and was really good too!

This was an amazing find and a pleasant change of flavor here in the Valley. I saw it driving by and went in and order a basic basket of fried crawdads. They were very good and a real treat. However, while I waited for my simple meal I saw some amazing, large and magnificent dinners that were amazing. King crab legs, all kinds of stuff. There was a young couple there that were all dressed up and sharing very large plates for two and the girl definitely knew what she was ordering. Quality food and a nice change of pace in an environment that is uplifting and clean. Lastly, there was a gentleman that I believe was a chef that I could tell was very proud of the meals he was preparing. It was nice to see. I will be back soon

I love crawfish with a passion this was absolutely the WORST crawfish I have ever eating in 37 years, and I have eaten crawfish all over the country... If I could give it 0 Stars I would.. The Crawfish did not taste fresh.. It tasted like they boiled it and regular water then threw them in a bag poured a whole bunch of garbage seasonings on it and shook it up and served it.. Ate about 5 pieces of crawfish the rest can go in the trash.. I will never come here again and I will discourage anyone else who wants to come for the Crawfish.. very disappointing I was wanting some good crawfish so bad I guess I got to cook it myself... If people are giving good reviews on their crawfish then trust me they have never ate crawfish from a real Crawfish boil so they have nothing to compare it to..

Food was good. There was this dude standing around the register on Friday, June 8, 2023 at lunchtime. Apparently he totally had a stick up his butt and gave us stink eye for asking for asking the cashier questions about the menu. He was standing right up against her, poking her in the side in a desperate mating display while we tried to order. Music was played featuring curse words in the dining area. The food was good enough. They handed us the food and never appeared again. The place was deserted - we were the only people there.

Ive had 3 good experiences out of the 4 The only time I had a small problem was recently, when I ordered online - I set the time of pick up for around 6:15pm but they started making it the second I ordered it (around 4pm). They waited till 6 to call me that if I dont pick it up soon my food will get soggy - in which I was confused cause I put in a set time for it to be ready by ya know? I get there and she tells me its been sitting there for hours already, so Im like what, I put the time for 6:15pm and she checked the receipt, said she was sorry and said theyd refresh the rice because the rest should be good So they didnt remake my whole order (12ct shrimp - 1lb crawfish - magic Cajun rice) but just refreshed my Cajun rice - idk if thats a bad thing or not, I was just dying of hunger lol So yeah, I didnt think itd be a big deal but when I got to my home, the food was subpar so idk - theyve done better before - next time Ill probably just order from a different LA Crawfish than this exact place

Service was horrible. There was only 1 waiter who never stopped by to check in on us. She wasn t very responsive when asked about things as if she didn t want to be there. Not once did they stop by the table and ask if we needed anything. I had to get up and ask and that s because I left tip before being served the food. Never coming here again.

I ordered around 1:30pm, my dasher picked up the order at 1:37pm. Food arrived at 2:10pm. I ordered crawfish pho, sweet corn with garlic butter & cajun style and 1 lb of crawfish. I ate pho first then I ate the corn and crawfish. While eating crawfish I dip garlic butter sauce from the corn and guess what I saw ???!!! LA crawfish started off good when they first opened . Thought it was a little expensive but craw fish is a once in a while thing to me. This time I picked up the food and ate at my house but was totally discouraged in the preparation of the craw fish. Boy we re they dirty, full of mud. First time trying crawdads! They are something that may take a bit to get the hang of but they were very good. Best andouille sausage weve ever had and should have gotten more potatoes and corn. We ordered the regular spice- glad we didnt get extra spicy! Also got a shrimp basket which was good but nothing out of the ordinary. Finished off with beignets, which were excellent! One order was plenty for the two of us to share even though we were tempted to order one for each of us. Service was great. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Even demonstrated how to peel and eat those little mudbugs!

Good flavor, been to many la crawfish but this one in particular was my first time 10th st McAllen . I went early enough to where I didn t get the last of what they had at 7:57. The craw fish I got were over cooked everything but a few of the meat I was pulling out was like mashe potatoes. Wouldn t go there again empathetic drive a lil farther for a more experienced cooking staff. Almost felt like it was a small serving as well. I ate the 2 pounds 3 corn and 3 potatoes and could of ate a lil more for a slim dude . Sorry just had to give the heads up for reviews

The food is good, no doubt about that. However, the staff left me with a bad taste. One of the girls came to the front from the back holding a crawfish up to the cashiers face while she was taking our order, which the cashier told her to stop and kept talking to her while taking our order. She didnt apologize for the rudeness and then made a mistake on our order. Later on they were complaining about customers and even remarked how one customer who ordered take out only left $1 tip. Everyone in the restaurant could hear her saying how they each would get $0.25. They were calling customers who werent there b****s and other words.This was the 10th St location off the Expressway. Made me wonder what I would be called once I left.

I really wanted to like this place but the crawfish tasted so old & the shrimp was MUSHY. Explains the Buy 2lbs crawfish & get a lb for free... Flavor was so bland too. They need to add more seasoning to their water bc all I tasted was swamp water. Staff was nice...I had to ask for more seasoning to try to fix it and they somehow ran out of Lemon Pepper. Paid $70 to only eat half of that FREE LB & walked out.

Sorry, not a fan. The gals were great and friendly but I expected more product for $42. I get back to my hotel and the seasoning has to be added by me! The butter, the seasoning and spices were in those little plastic cup with lids. Not kool! I frequent The Juicy Crab in Jax FL. where I live and they season the food there. All I have to do is pop open the steamed bag and go to town. I usually spend $10-$12 less. The place was clean in appearance and again, the gals were great. I didnt really get to taste what I paid for bc it was kinda hard to add the spices myself and shake the plastic bag bc it was leaking. Not a good experience. If I decide to go back, I will dine in. My reviews are honest. Sorry if it offends.

I love Lacrawfish and me and my wife have been several times to the one in McAllen and most times it is awesome, great food , great taste, no problems. However this last time it was terrible. The taste was there it was very good but the crawfish were extremely small and way overcooked also the fried calamari had been fried balled up and the batter inside the ball was raw. I brought it up to the staff and they told me they could not do anything about the size of the crawfish and they couldnt give me my money back either. They did however give me some extra crawfish that were very small and so overcooked that they would fall apart while peeling them. I do commend them for that but it was still very frustrating and not worth the drive from Brownsville. It was very disappointing but I didnt make a scene cause I didnt want to be that guy in front of my wife. We probably wont go back for a while and next time Ill call first and ask about the quality before driving all the way over there. The shrimp were very delicious though.

We ordered crawfish, shrimp and tilapia baskets. Tilapia was good crawfish and shrimp were very over cooked. Sweet potato fries were extremely soggy. No tarter sauce, cocktail sauce, ketchup or even a lemon provided. This was my first time eating from this place and disappointed, dissatisfied doesnt begin to describe how I feel about it. Reading all the great reviews get to finally eat it and . Its Sunday so maybe staff didnt feel like working. Maybe this was a one time occasion but do not see myself going for a second.

Food was awesome, but service with horrible. I have never had crawfish before this, so when getting to the counter to order, I figured the cashier would be a bit informative as to what to recommend. Needless to say, she was not. We came in a group of 9 including 2 children and wanted to use 1 ticket and she told us we had to make all of our orders separate. Servers were nice, but it seemed like it was their first day on the job. They were very lost. We traveled far and was hoping for something better. Will not go back.

My husband and I went here for dinner. I e always wanted to eat here and my husband and I were glad we did. He ordered the spicy fried rice and wings, and i ordered the yummy garlic noodles, crawfish and shrimp with sausage and corn cajun style. Boy it was all sooo good! I m crazy about the garlic noodles! the shrimps are big and tasty and the crawfish was good too. We were so full. The food was affordable and the servings were good too. Although the place may not look appetizing, coz it has this like beach vibe and very casual, but if you want delicious food I definitely recommend this place! If i could put half a star i would. This place always takes forever. Dont go thru the drive thru becaue youll be waiting even longer. When looking around everyone is just standing around insted of getting everything done fast. Its littlerly 20 min till they get your order followed by another 20 min wait of them getting it ready which was cold btw. The only one that is trying to be on top of her game is Karina and she seemed new. I purposely avoid comming to this one and prefer to go out of my way to go to the other one located about 15 miles away compared to this one thats only a mile from home. This one needs better management.

I am so disappointed with this place. I placed an order over the phone and when my son went to pick it up they stated we never placed it. I tried calling to find out what happened and the phone was busy. They disregarded my son and he waited close to 45 min. and I had to tell him to leave because I couldnt get through. I think its sad that they ignored what happened and the food is not worth the wait. When I first placed my order I asked the girl taking my order what the difference was when it came to the naked crawfish because I did not want them breaded and she explained. I was looking to place it on the app but I didnt want to get the order wrong so I called just to be sure and on the app I was being charged $43 and over the phone it came out to $55. I asked my son to get off and clarify the prices and he was told the order was not placed. If you want to try a place go to Mr. Crabbys because LA Crawfish will say you didnt order. They really need to step up their customer service game. Oh and if you want to call me out on this I have the order I was trying to place on the app and all the phone calls I made.

Bad start at the counter since there is a tv stating it has great reviews. Well I find it hard to believe because they told us they couldnt serve us due to a full house We needed to hold a table while ordering to dine. Overall the service was all over the place.

They try to be CAJUN, and it ends up being a simple cuisine, I ordered a Magic Cajun Rice, with Crawfish, NUUUUUNCAAAAA I found the CRAWFISH, a FRAUD, very bad, I will not return, nor do I recommend it

It was going to be my first time trying this place so I called to order take out and I was surprised with the extremely rude customer service I received. I was asking questions on how I would go about ordering crab legs and the flavors they had and the lady did not want to help me out at all. This was my first impression of LA crawfish and I will not be returning.

Pretty bad, got the LA Special Pho and it tasted very Gamey. The meatballs were disgusting. My girlfriend got the Cajun Shrimp Pho which came with NO shrimp at all. Would never come back again. Maybe only for the Crawfish but anything else is a hard pass.

Oh my goodness, it was SO DELICIOUS... I totally recommend to EVERYBODY. The staff explained everything that we asked about, and let me say, AMAZING SERVICE. They Always Seem To Close 45min-1hr Early! I ve Gone For Dinner With My Husband On 4 Different Occassion s Closing Time Says 9:30 We Walked In At 8:20 & The Same Girl In The 4 Different Occasions Said It s Closed With The Same Line Only To Go Orders. We Are A Big Fan Of L.A Crawfish We Go Once A Week.
