My husband and I have used Jana twice to purchase homes in McAllen. She listened to what we were both looking for in a home and showed us listings that fit both our needs. She showed us homes in the evening and on the weekends to accommodate our busy work schedule. She knows the local market and neighborhoods, including homes that may be more easy to resale when we retire in a few years. When I contacted her at night with a home I want to schedule to view, she immediately responded even though I expected her to text the next day. She reminded us of what needed to be done within the first week of the contract so we would know if any potential problems we may want to address in the grace period. She helped us every step of the way in purchasing our new homes. We recommended Jana to our son and his finance and Jana was able to find them their first home and within their price range. She helped them understand the language in the contract and to find qualified individuals for the inspection, survey and appraisal. She explained the inspection findings and what needed to be addressed with sellers. She kept them informed throughout the buying process. My son just moved in his new home 3 weeks after signing the contract. My family highly recommends Jana Irby at Life is Good Real Estate and we would use her again without hesitation if we ever needed to move again or sell our homes.

I called to ask for a real estate agent and first of all, she answered really unprofessional. I asked if I was calling a real estate company and she said yes. I told her I was in search for a realtor and she said she ll be busy so to find someone else. Lol I never leave reviews but this was really surprising especially with it showing great ratings! Don t recommended! Customer service is part of the job and she was horrible

Jana was awesome! My brother and I had to clean out and sell our parents home in Edinburg quickly (we each traveled over 1,400 miles to do this). She greatly reduced our stress by providing us invaluable information and advice and was readily available to answer our questions. She also has contacts with businesses who can clean and do home repairs. For example, we needed the front door lock fixed - she gave us the name of a locksmith who came that very day to fix the lock for a reasonable fee. You cannot go wrong choosing Jana Irby as your real estate broker!

Jana is the hardest working realtor I have ever met. When I originally sent out a blast of emails to several realtors she responded within one minute. We talked briefly and she sent me her bio with all the information I was hoping to find about her and her business. I listed a condominium with her that had previously been listed with another realtor for several months with virtually no showings. Within two weeks the property was sold for the asking price. We live in Michigan and were looking for a house in Mission Texas. Being over 1700 miles away it was challenging. Once we found a house we liked, we contacted Jana Irby. She was so helpful, and even took the time to give us a video tour of the house. After addressing all of our concerns we ended up putting an offer in on the house.....sight unseen. We closed on the house last week and could not be happier. Once back home, 1700 miles away in Michigan, Hurricane Hanna hit the area where our house is located. Once again Jana was there to help. I signed up to receive information on realtors in my area and this was one of them. They called my back to back left multiple messages and sent text messages. To me thats a put off. If I dont answer the first time and you leave a message I will call you back at my convenience. Dont proceeded to call me right back again. When she called again right now and I explained that to her she proceeded to raise her voice at me that I shouldnt have signed up and then hung up on me. It was highly unprofessional.

Efficient, Extremely Responsive, knowledgeable and Genuine. 10 out of 5 Star Experience. We have a weird schedule, she accommodated for early morning calls and full days of viewing homes on the weekend; she never got tired and never stopped smiling. Responded to emails, calls and messages it lightning speeds. My husband was a first time home buyer and it had been 7 years since I bought a house; she shares all the need to know and more in order to prepare you for 1. Shopping (location, quality of builder, schools, etc.); 2. Contract process (all your rights); 3. Closing; and 4. Post-closing (Painters, how to maximize your home warranty, etc.).
