An amazing and one of a kind experience, from the drinks that pair so perfectly with the menu, to the food quality that comes to the table. Paid almost 50 for steak that was rubbery they said it was the way it was cooked, did not eat whole steak, still got charged for it, they charge for everything, water, extra bread, ice tea refills. Theyre is a sign on the outside wall that says, Expect the unexpected that is for sure!!!

I recently visited Rosmani to celebrate my birthday, expecting a fine dining experience based on the reviews. Having frequented multiple fine dining restaurants in Houston, TX, I was deeply disappointed by Rosmani. The $60 ribeye I ordered lacked flavor, and the tacos my niece and her boyfriend had were intolerably salty. For $24 for three tacos, we expected much better quality. After tasting them myself, I confirmed they were inedibly salty. When we informed the waiter, he took the tacos back to taste them himself and returned, saying the chef claimed they were not salty. No apology was offered, and they insisted we were wrong. The dining environment was uncomfortable with the air conditioning set at 76 degrees. Despite our request to lower the temperature, they claimed it was at its maximum and only provided fans, which is unacceptable for a fine dining establishment. The service was atrocious. It took 20 minutes to receive our check, and the waiter asked us six times what we had ordered. Our tickets had to be corrected three times. To top it off, a 20% gratuity was included for this mediocre service. Our entire party was thoroughly disappointed and we do not recommend Rosmani for the price. Definitely expect the unexpected, which is not good food nor fine dining. There are much better options in the area, such as El Divino, Salt or Prime, which offer excellent food and service for a much better experience.

What a gem in the valley! We did the tasting and the progression of each course was well paced. The chef is fantastic with sauces and used beans in a really innovative way. My favorite dishes were the gyoza, octopus and black risotto, and tenderloin. The rosemary butter was also a pleasant surprise! I can t wait to try their brunch offerings. My only suggestion would be to add a drink pairing option to the tasting menu.

This isnt pretty good food for the Valley, this is great food anywhere, period! The picanha can be chewed with your tongue it is so tender, and the squid ink risotto with octopus is something that will occupy your dreams later. The tasting menu gives the perfect amount of each course so you have a fighting chance to make it through the dessert round before throwing in the towel. Whats even more impressive than the gauntlet of flavor, is the incredible service and attention you receive from the moment you walk in. Roberto makes you feel like you are a member of the family before you are even finished with the appetizer. His recommendations are spot on, and he leaves no question un answered. Definitely a hidden gem! The food was espectacular, and the service excellent. The caption of Fine Mexican Cuisine doesn t accurately describe how creative and good the food is. The chef combines Mexican recipes with international dishes to make it stand out (such as the gyozas and sea bass). Confusing menu........very pricy, but nice atmosphere and if you arrive early........very quiet. Crowd shows up late I guess. When they ask if you would like to start off with water.....be sure and tell them you just want tap water unless you like to pay for the experience of bottled water. I have to say I was extremely disappointed eating at Rosmanis. The total bill came in at $150.00 for only five items: salad, salmon, small bowl of pasta, bread, and two drinks. They gave use one piece of bread and when we asked for a second, we were charged $6.00. Its one of those restaurants where theyll serve fancy plates with little food and have three to four people surround you. Theyll add dry ice fog to your drinks to give you the impression is something fancy. Yes, service is nice, but the value of the meal compared to the total bill of $150.00 was NOT worth it. Dont try to make an impression with a date by taking them here. Show them youre smart with your money. There are better valued restaurants for the money. Oh, they also charged $5.00 because I used my credit/debt card. I mean really????

Thing with valley is that, theyll have high end feel restaurants and ruin it with huge TV, and DJ playing loud music, like am I at a club or restaurant? Went for an intimate lunch and the atmosphere was so welcoming and pleasant that we lingered long after the meal was done. I ordered the beet salad which was basically a beautifully presented deconstructed salad. Unfortunately, I couldnt reconstruct my bites to get the extraordinary taste experience I was hoping for. The beet was carved into a lovely Rose - but was large and a little too earthy tasting for me. My companion had the Alfredo and was completely satisfied. Delicious! We ordered roasted octopus, rib eye and aguachile. For a drink I ordered Bubble everything tastes delicious and the atmosphere is very calm, you can talk comfortably. The prices exceed the value of the food/portions, but this place is worth enjoying.

Food was delicious and beautifully prepared. Wonderful attention to detail. Just be aware that water is bottled, sparkling or still, and is charged. And if Open Table doesnt show availability, go anyway. When I tried to reserve, it said that there was no availability but when I arrived, restaurant was virtually empty. Wow! What an amazing place with absolutely amazing food! We visited for our 16-year anniversary of our meet-cute. The sea bass fish tacos were divine and the tuna tostadas. The staff is very attentive and thorough. We had such a wonderful experience.

Very quickly I changed my mind since I came back yesterday and what a surprise! I returned with more members of my family, since the first time was a very good experience and I wanted to show them the place. From night to day the change in this place - terrible service and overheated food. Its not a question of if this place is going to sink, but when. Rosmani is an experience, I didn t give it 5 stars only because they mopped while I was eating and who likes the smell of Fabuloso while eating!! However, the food is amazing. Is a little on the pricey side but its really an experience to your palate. The service was courteous and it comes with an explanation of how your dish is prepared! Recomendable for special occasion or when you ate feeling fancy!

Forking delicious! Im visiting from SF and wanted to treat my mom and sister. Picked Rosmani from the vibe pics, and will be back because of the fabulous food and service. Every single bite was full of depth and the individual ingredients were highlighted. This restaurant goes toe to toe with many of the michelin stars Ive enjoyed.

If I could, I would put 9.5/10, just for the extra salt on my salmon sauce. Otherwise, the restaurant has a nice pace, the decorum is very classy, and the food is of nice proportion. It s obviously not a budget restaurant, but the quality of food and experience were amazing. My wife and I do not regret eating here for our 5th anniversary !

The place is overrated, you get carried away by the advertising and photos on its page. I ordered a chile en nogada and the meat in the filling was raw, my plate was cold. There came a time when I had to stop eating because the taste was bad. I tried several things and nothing I tried made me feel like it was worth it. I paid, the service was good, the only salvageable thing was my drink. I dont think I would return to this place On average you spend 60 dollars per person and if you pay by card they charge you 3%. In general I do not recommend it

It all depends on the expectation of what $40 per person lunch should get you. We read some of the recent comments in this forum and we expected professional cooking and gratifying service. It was not worth it. Even though the personnel were courteous, they werent attentive or detailed focused. The explanations about the dishes were petty and we had to reach inside for them to come outdoors (3 times), plus for the number of tables (only us) they were serving, the kitchen took too long (over 45min). We ordered short-rib tacos, the sea bass, and the risotto with scallops. The tacos were OK, but the others were plain. The dessert presentation saved the 2nd star.

Food was bad. They used ingredients that clashed and made no sense combining together. I dont know what theyre thinking. Visually, food was somewhat appealing. They sold/served a fellow patron what they put on the menu a picanha. It wasnt even the actual cut of meat; was some flat, thin pitiful cut of beef they insultingly are serving as picanha. The place is more than grossly overpriced; stay away unless you want to spend money on bad tasting, extremely overpriced food.

If there were more stars available Rosmani would deserve them all. The drinks were the best weve had anywhere. The bread was homemade and flavored butters were delicious. The ribeye was cooked to perfection, fries were delicious and the sauces just enhanced all the flavors. The braised beef rib was tender enough to cut with a fork. The chocolate piñata dessert was light, not overly chocolaty and very tasty. Staff members were nice and very attentive. Definitely a place for special occasions. Will be back.
