This place is amazing, parking/traffic is rooough. It is totally worth it though. Someone is typically there to direct the traffic. Everyone is so kind!!! .. more importantly the food is so amazing!! I get a breakfast taco of potato, egg, bean, and cheese, and a lemonade all the time from here!! Every time we go somewhere we try the lemonade and rate it from a zero to Ms. G level. No one ever compares.

I placed a phone order for a Mrs G s Friday special today. The prices on the menu outside do not reflect the actual prices. There is a statement that says their prices have increased. There is also a sign that says you get a 4% discount for paying with cash. The woman told me the price, I gave her cash. She actually owed me change but didn t give it to me. I thought, ok they can keep it. I had to ask for a receipt because she didn t give me one. The receipt doesn t show the price only total including tax. So I went by later and asked what the prices for specials is, I showed him the receipt he said I needed to come back and talk to the cashier that it wasn t him. I asked about the 4% discount for paying with cash. He said that if they are real busy they forget to ask if they are paying with cash and do not apply the 4% discount. He kept telling me I needed to speak to the cashier because it had nothing to do with him. I tried to ask at least three times to ask why they offered a discount for paying with cash if they don t apply it. He wouldn t let me speak, he just kept talking over me. He said it was too much talking when in reality he was doing all the talking. So 4% not applied, how many times a day, eventually adds up. They need to update their menu prices outside and remove the 4% discount that isn t applied anyway. I don t think I will be going back to Mrs. G s. Parking: They only have three parking spaces. The drive through is full of potholes.

For years this is the place to enjoy the authentic & original pato their food is freshly made, home style with a unique taste. Delicious tacos for breakfast or lunch. The refried beans are the BEST, the Carne Guisada is absolutely delicious with generous portions in all their food. They also have plates of several traditional TexMex food. All at reasonable prices. Their service is always friendly & they treat you like family. This place is a local treasure for our South Texas food lovers. It should be appreciated, supported & valued by the local people. Unfortunately many of our traditional food favorites are disappearing. Enjoy it, you ll never know for how long we will have them.

Went through the drive through got my order which was supposed to be beef bean and cheese and left to continue running some errands get home a couple hours later to find out they gave me the complete wrong order I call to complain and tell them they messed up my order and the gentleman who answered the phone said that i would have to take the order back to get any kind of store credit even though i told the gentleman that i dont have a vehicle currently to take them back and if i can get anystore credit if i take them tomorrow since they close at 7 and he said sorry that there is nothing that he can do completely rude and waste of my time and money and that being said me and my family have been loyal customers of theres for over 10 years but not anymore not going back.

All I wanted was some Potato and eggs so I ordered a plate. When my food was delivered to me in my car, I immediately could smell scent of bacon. I didnt ask for bacon, All I asked was for potato and egg plate. Plate special (with beans and tortillas) Yet I was given with bacon, which I do not eat. I asked them to take the bacon off, or make sure that I had the correct order. The short lady got an BiG attitude and said I can just not eat the bacon. I told her, that I did not ask for bacon, nor do I want it on my plate. I was going to just keep the plate and discard the bacon, but because she gave me an attitude, I politely asked for my money back and went down the street to a spot called Los Mismos.

This was my 3rd time coming here and I was not expecting to find a bug in my beans. First our server forgot to bring us the chips. Then when he brought the beans I noticed it was a small portion almost only half of the cup. When I gave it a stir I noticed something black. It seems like their service can never be on point, which leads to a horrible atmosphere outside the facility when you re trying to park or leave the drive thru. In business there needs to be an understanding to evolve, but it s obvious that won t change. Luckily an Eddie s Tacos opened up and I can now go to a bigger parking lot where I m not at risk of getting into an accident. Just incase there is any denial, you had a white charger taking up two parking spots this morning and an SUV taking up the third, with a congested drive thru due to the truck not moving out of the way.

First time trying Ms G s tacos, and simply walking in felt very welcoming. I decided to get the tacos I always love ordering. To start, the tortillas are home made; very fluffy and leave light white residue on your fingers from the flour. Reminded me of my childhood hanging around my grandma. Great food but extremely disappointed on them getting rid of taco Tuesday. I get it inflation on prices is hitting everyone hard from groceries to gas prices. But why not keep it,but just raise the price. Like the other restaurants did,but I guess they don t need the customers that bad sadly.

I was told by several people that Ms. Gs tacos were the best in the Valley.. Ms. Gs didnt disappoint! Tried several types of tacos, but the Carne Gisada taco (pictured) was some of the best Ive ever had! No matter where you are in the Valley,find your way to Ms Gs...totally worth it!!! Also had a chance to meet Ms G...very sweet lady!!!
