The truth is that the breakfast and lunch are delicious, the service and the atmosphere are excellent, it is not fast food, there is a certain amount of time that we must learn to wait to receive a quality dish like here. My family and I like to meet here, its relaxing, and while we wait we chat for a while with some delicious tortilla chips and deli salsa and not to mention the coffee in a jar, with Mexican food and atmosphere, congratulations!!

IMO Best chicken flautas in the RGV and it isnt even close! The tortillas are light and dont feel greasy but they have a good crispiness. The chicken is just right, and theyre covered with tasty cheese and sour cream. Great service with a smile besides.

The huevos rancheros here are okay, for $8.99 you get 3 eggs, potatoes, refried beans and bacon. The eggs were perfectly cooked over medium, the salsa for the eggs is good, the refried beans in my last visit were old, the bacon was just okay , the potatoes didnt have a great taste to them as they are soggy, and have no flavor. While you wait they bring you chips and hot salsa(as in warm salsa). The coffee here is hot and good tasting. Overall, in my recent visits not much has been improved and the food is just okay, the quality has definitely dropped.

Reasonably priced and the food is delicious. Would I return? Yes. Theres still much food to try and I really like their complimentary salsa. The food portions are enough for two people or for someone whos really hungry. Las tortillas are perfectly handmade and delicious. I ordered the barbacoa plate.

Tried the enchiladas rojas and they were not that great. The chicken had a very overpowering greasy taste. The refried beans were actually pretty good. The server was very nice and attentive, but the kitchen did take quite a while to prepare the food and it was not busy. I had actually tried their catering food and it was way better than what they have in the restaurant. I would go back if they start including it in their menu.

We had a great time here for a late Sunday breakfast. Service was very fast and friendly. I had the chilaquiles con pollo. My husband had the chicharrones en salsa verde. Over easy eggs were perfect on both plates. Everything was delicious. We asked for extra flour tortillas and they were fresh and piping hot. Portions are generous so I took a to-go box I even took extra chips from the chips & salsa because they were really good, too :)

The food is great but the service is just terrible. Every single time I come it s always just the service that s bad. I keep trying to give this place a try but each time it is never a good experience. The service is extremely slow and the servers rarely come to the table. They have no organization, tables are served at random and items requested are never brought or they forget about it. The kitchen is extremely slow as well, and it isnt busy every time I go. Expect to wait 20 minutes to be seen by a server and get chips and drinks, after that expect an extra hour for basic orders to come from the kitchen. The food is sometimes burnt, sometimes cold, sometimes comes in parts... This place is just over all bad. Absolutely do not recommend.

The tortillas were really good. The restaurant felt musky, the chicken tlapeno was okay. It was extremely greasy and came as pictured. A total mess all over both dishes. The chorizo and queso was good with flour tortillas. That dish I expected it to be greasy so there was no biggy, but I have never had greasy tlapeno soup served like that. There was also no chile in it so it is not like as advertised. The service was okay. The place was very short staffed but everyone tried the best that they could. Prices were fair. Tea is not freshly brewed but it doesnt taste too bad. I might go back to try their breakfast because I really liked the tortillas. Overall 3 out of 5.

Ive eaten at Justicia before covid and I remember the food being really tasty. So this is post covid and the food was more of a 2-star experience. I used a Groupon this time and ordered it to go.... Fairly simple order... enchiladas verdes and the fajitas. My wife said the fajita was good.. nothing over the top but good. She said the same for the rice and beans. I had the enchiladas verdes and I was a little disappointed. I love enchiladas verdes with a tomatillo base...I didnt taste that tangy, slightly sour taste of them (maybe needed more salt?) Plus, the bottom of the enchiladas were so soggy they would simply break apart when I would pick them up with a fork. The filling was shredded chicken which is a bad idea because those release more water which combined with the salsa added up to soggy enchiladas. Granted....I did take out...maybe eaten right when made they wouldve been better? I dont know...but the texture was very soggy. Overall decent place...prices are good...food might be hit or miss...and if youre doing enchiladas dont do to-go.

Wow! They put a lot of meat in the botanas. We ordered the botana for 3. When it arrived at our table it was more like botana for 5, even 6. Plus we had the sides: rice, beans, the avocado was NOT brown. The limeades and horchata tasted freshly made. You get your moneys worth here.

I tried the enchiladas de mole and the were exceptional, very tasty and the enchiladas suizas as well. It taste like my grandmas enchiladas
