The longest running comic, anime, and gaming conventions in the RGV. its very well run, helpful and accommodating. They never fail to impress every year. we cant let one awful day dampen what theyve been able to bring to the RGV for YEARS.

After 5 hours of waiting in line, I only spent 15 minutes inside. The alpacas had more of a draw at that point. The place may have been filled with people, but the majority missed out on the few events left due to the storm. Zero excitement, 100% exhaustion.

I purchased a one day ticket for today(Saturday), to see Giancarlo Esposito but because of the power outage they moved his panel to the next day. So not only wont I be able to see his panel, but they decided that people who also purchased a Saturday only GA but blew it off are going to be able to use their Saturday GA for Sunday. But not me because I was stupid enough to show up and use the ticket I purchased. Smh

Saturday for this convention is always full, and always they are so disorganized. I bought 3 day passes and already had my band for Saturday, but I still had to wait BEHIND in person ticket purchases. I waited in line for 3 HOURS. Missed every panel I wanted to go to, became dehydrated and sunburnt. They did not offer water or anything. This is really sad. Not at all worth the money, especially when most of the time there is spent in line.

The place is unorganized. For some reason they let the people who buy the tickets enter first rather than one who bought there online made us wait in line. When I went to sign up for a video game competition they told me to go to an info booth and there was nothing and they started an hour earlier than they said they were going to start which I missed because they didnt follow the schedule. And events either started earlier or later than it was supposed to be. Then when I went to meet Chuck Norris the security guards kept telling me to go to a nonexistent line which was the same place where I was at to begin with and they closed the place just as soon as I came. Then when I went back 20 minutes later the same security guards tried to do the same thing but when I got there. I told them there was no such line, they constantly lied to my face and it turns out I wasnt the only person doing that too, the security guards were practically the ones staring at the trouble and so thanks to them I lost my only chance to meet Chuck Norris.

This event is horrible, nothing is well organized. I dont recommend anyone wastes their money on this. They gave priority to people buying tickets on the event instead of the ones who bought it online. If you bought it on the event you didnt have to wait in line. They didnt follow their own schedule many of the events starting late and ending early. The securities were aggressive there was even a security turning people away from the Chuck Norris line.
