Geek squad was great. We were waiting to buy some stuff and got bypassed by their regular sales people in the computer dept. They called in other sales associates from another dept. I went and looked for the youngest newest employee and bought a Laptop, iPad, covers, screen protectors and a bunch of accessories.

Extremely frustrated! I bought two air conditioning units the first one once I got it home did not work. These are very heavy and hard for me to take back and forth to the store and exchange. I have to ask for people to help me carry these into my house when someone is available to help and then again to lift it and get it into my vehicle to return .Went today and bought a different AC unit got it home opened it up and there are pieces missing. I called the store and was told to bring it back. I explained its very heavy and I cannot lift it to get it into my vehicle to bring it back. I was just told sorry maam I explained to them saying theyre sorry does not help me get it back into my vehicle and waste my gas again and my time for the second time. They do not care about the inconvenience.

Nice big store. Friendly employees. I came here to recycle an old cell phone and an old battery pack. They used to have a recycling center between the entrance doors. No more. I was instructed to go to customer service. So I had to stand in line and wait for about 20 minutes just to drop off the two items. We did walk around and look at the new big screen TVs and computers. They had a small selection of open boxes of TVs.

They only have a 15 day return policy. The item I purchased was never opened and still looking like it did when I got it. I call ed and was told to bring it in an the manager would look at it and if it was in selling condition I could return it. I drove over a hour to get there. Told the customer service boy I mean boy he looked like he could still been high school. What was going on. And I needed a manager. The 2 people in front of me he could not help he had to call help. He left and went to the door greater. And came back and said they could not take it back. I asked if that was the manager. He mumbled that they called and she was to busy to come talk to me. I asked again and was told she was busy and they could not accept my request. I had the receipt and the box was just as I got it. So no customer service from them. I guess. I will not be shopping there with that type of CS

Had appointment to fix my screen on my phone, first day they had to reschedule because there were no technicians working. Went to my second appointment the next day and he wanted me to sign my Apple ID and password on the public laptop so naturally Apple flagged it and said they would allow me to sign in after an hour and the guy got real frustrated like it was my fault and again had me reschedule for the following day, granted I was not late but before leaving he goes and you need to be here on time it s the only appointment? I was like ok? I ll just be fixing my screen elsewhere after wasting two trips which I both had appointments and WAS on time for both.

This 5 star review is for the store only. Stephanies customer service was outstanding. The Geek Squad wasnt able to fix my laptop, but did provide a solution to get it up and running. Side note: Dont invest in an ASUS computer. Save your money and frustration. Buy anything but ASUS! As for the corporate decision to send all incoming calls to a call center, you SUCK! I spoke with several employees at this branch. They say customers complain every day that they cant get ahold of anyone at the store. This was a horrible decision. FYI, the extension for the McAllen store is 2110.
