Asked for help with an item . They told me to call back in 5 minutes. I called back 5 min later, and they keep hanging the call . So rude. Not recommended .

I used to shop at Big Lots when they actually had merchandise that was considered bargains at close out prices. Today Big Lots is simply just another retail store that offers prices in line with Walmart, Target, Walgreens. This store is reasonably clean and somewhat organized as one would expect from a major retailer.

Big lots you can find good prices on some things you are interested at for example I like to buy my snacks Like nuts,but most of all my favorite is Ginger candies snacks!!!

This was more than likely my LAST visit to any Big Lots! My wife and I would usually visit Big Lots about once a year to restock on yard and in-home decorations. I was a holder of the Big Lots credit card until this visit. I attempted to use my credit card to pay for our purchases, but the purchase was declined. I had plenty of credit limit and thus, I was surprised that the transaction was declined. I called the Big Lots Customer Service department and was told that my account was temporarily suspended, but she could not tell me why. I asked to be transferred to her supervisor and when I spoke to the supervisor I was told that Commenity Bank needed to re-run my credit to re-evaluate my credit worthiness because I had not used my credit card in more than 12 months. I was not going to authorize a 15 point ding on my Credit Score just because I had not used my credit card in over 12 months. I immediately asked the representative to close my credit card account with Big Lots. If I am not considered a worthy customer, the store does not merit my business now or in the future!
