Nice small park with children s playground and disk golf. Parking lot is small but not many come to this park so usually slots are available. It has one porta-potty by the entrance. Plenty of palms throughout this elongated scenic park. Playground: Swings and slides for children. Benches for taking a break. Toilets: One porta-potty at the entrance.

Very clean park, used for disk golf and has a playground with swings and slides for children. This is a great place for playing disc golf. It has a paved walking path, a Big John port-a-potty toilet, a playground with swings and slides and several benches. Currently theres ongoing road construction on Daffodil right in front of the park entrance, but you can still enter the parking lot off Daffodil in front of the park via a dirt road entrance, or you can park nearby on 42nd Street and walk a minute to enter through one of the two side entrances to the east. The park is closed from 11 PM through 6 AM. Its overall clean, and the grass was just cut by the city of McAllen on June 1st. Theres however still lots of branches and downed trees that are pending removal to get picked up by the city of McAllen, due to a major storm a little over a month ago. Its a beautiful and quiet park. Playground: Theres a play ground with slides and swings. Toilets: Theres a Big John port a potty at the entrance by the parking lot. Dog-friendliness: Its dog friendly.

A nicely laid out par 2 to 4 disc golf course, easy to follow. Distances in the 210 to 425 range. The course is flat with decent amount of trees for obstacles and shade. There is a kids playground in the middle of the park. Only real negatives is the course has a lot of bare ground, which you can see turns to mud when wet. Adding some rocks/mulch around the tee pads will be a big, necessary step up. A fun course for a ~20 minute 9 hole round. Little chance of losing a disc .

Good discgolf park for beginners and more advanced players. Playground: One playground but rarely used. Toilets: No restrooms at this park Dog-friendliness: Wide open space for dogs to run around. Be kind and pick up after them. Picnic area: No picnic area.

Great short course for beginners, was worried about mosquitoes in the summer, but was able to get through the course with no bug spray and not one Mosquito bite. Only negative is the limited parking

Its a really cute park. Theres a small paved walking trail around a playground. 9 hole disc golf course. The Udisc app has 18 by reusing some chains which is really nice. Small parking lot.

Nice little park, its a long stretch of green space with a play ground, and a disc golf course. There are interesting birds to see like Curve-billed Thrashers and Orioles throughout the park.

this probably the busiest park in mcallen. the disc golf course is aawesome but they really need to work on the parking....the over flow area floods and gets muddy and unless u have a huge truck. @mcallenparksandrec.

Poorly taken care of. The weeds are out of control. Swings need to be replaced they are all cracked and can pinch fingers. I dont believe the water fountains work and if they do they look scary and not safe to drink from. Only one porter potty at the entrance. If you go make sure you wont need to go to the restroom and bring your own drinks. Not a great park but kids have fun either way.
