Came for reserved birthday brunch Sunday morning. Was seated at one table, then had to be moved to larger table because number of guests wasnt communicated to waitress. Waitress did not come to table to check on us. We had to get her attention each time. Extra items were added to tab, which she corrected.

I don t have an issue with paying to park for $10 but when we have DV Plates & current handicap placard they wanted to charge $20!!!! Well we called Urban Living & their representative said they shouldn t be charging at all. We got our money back. You have to be careful of crooks of all kinds! Then the audacity to call us stupid! So I love clutch bar I go there at night .. i went one night and the vibes were amazing only because dj lucas b was mixing! Ive came back plenty of times after that but he was not playing it was somebody else,the other djs cool but you can tell the difference..when I came that night I danced ALL NIGHT! Non stop! It is an open area so once the sun was fully up the hear can get uncomfortable when paired with drinking. They do have the cutest patron towers which we will try next time. I had an amazing brunch experience at Clutch in Houston over the weekend! The ambiance was perfect with a great open-air flow, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. I ordered the Clutch Breakfast Platter, which was fantastic. The eggs were nice and fluffy, and the pancakes and waffles were delicious. The platter also came with perfectly cooked potatoes, bacon, and sausage. We also indulged in a Mimosa Tower and a Patron Tower, both of which were excellent. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely come back whenever I m in Houston again! Highly recommend!

Visiting from NYC . This place was close to where I was staying so we thought it was a good idea to have brunch here. Unfortunately, it did not go as we thought it would go. When we got there, the parking attendant told us it was $10 to park and they accepted only cash. His enthusiasm to share this information was not present, nonetheless we went to get cash. Upon parking, we got out and headed to the restaurant. Once we got there, the security guard told us that they were only taking cash, but he never took his eyes off his phone. He did not make a suggestion or share if there was a bank in the area, he just continued in his cell phone. We turned around to go back to the car and the parking attendant immediately gave us our parking fee back; he knew why we were leaving. Moving forward any parking attendant should notify patrons when only cash is accepted. It saves a patron time and allows them to ensure they have they the appropriate means of payment before parking.

The bar stools at high tops and bar is totally uncomfortable. They have booths but for large parties. And I m not sure about the patio seating but the chairs aren t comfortable at all! Had to stand towards the end finishing the mimosa tower! Mimosa tower was mid! Wasn t strong or anything mostly juice. I seen people getting tequila towers but I asked them and they said it was weak as well. Maybe I m just a shot girl. I wish places like this had more shot specials instead of bottle option when it s just yourself or two people. I would definitely visit again but with a larger group! Was excited to try this place for the first time visiting here in Houston but was soon disappointed when I arrived. Nowhere did it mention on their site that it was $10 cash only for self parking. Once inside the host informed us before being seated that they were cash only inside as well. His demeanor was dismissive and he never even looked up from his phone. There was no I m sorry for the inconvenience. We walked back outside to leave and the parking lot attendant already had my money out ready to give it right back. Had the service from either employees been a lil bit more welcoming, I would have gone and gotten cash to dine there. The vibes looked to be what we were looking for but the customer service lacked tremendously. F*** this establishment and this is definitely not a business that I ll be frequenting in the future. The parking lot attendant was rude while relaying cash only for parking ..so after going to get cash to SELF PARK, we entered the restaurant and was met at the door by an unfriendly host who never looked up from his phone while relaying the establishment was not taking cards, only cash NO THANKS!!! There was NO hospitality and I can t see how this place is still up and running. The server Amanda was highly rude, very unknowledgeable, didn t come to the table to check on me and my guest while she made obvious attempts to go check on every other table. She didn t even offer us water. They gave us a small table that couldn t the hookah, mimosas tower and food, food came out cold! This place is not a vibe. $10 for SELF PARKING in a dirty parking lot. Upon entry, several workers were at the hostess stands on their phones, and even though the place was borderline empty, they pressed for me to make a reservation online. After finally getting to my table, which was dirty, we waited for our VERY uninterested server. There is a severe lack of hospitality at this establishment. You should not enter the hospitality/ food industry if you don t care to hire people who will at least smile at their guests. The food was alright, but after stating that i don t eat meat and didn t want any with my meal, beans were brought out with sausage in them. No attempt to fix the situation or awareness as to why it was a problem. I also received old pico de gallo with my tacos, the onions were grey. Our alcoholic beverages were also weak, not that we could order many because of our inattentive server. This place assigns an hour and a half table time but you can t ever get the servers attention. The amount of plastic ware at this place was astounding. Plastic cups, plastic cutlery, plastic saucers. Our world is overcome by the plastic production and use by humans but this place definitely doesn t care. All of this and a mandatory gratuity charge with the bill. Maybe the servers would get tipped more if they focused on their tables and provide at least decent service, but they are very busy taking photos for the gram in front of the guests they are supposed to be serving. Definitely won t be back!

I have been to clutch bar at night and it is the place to be! I love their music and atmosphere! Bottles are a decent price too. I recently went for brunch and had a great experience! My waitress was super nice and attentive, food was delicious, mimosa towers were super good too!!! They don t disappoint!

Terrible establishment. And as a preface and comparison, I was in New Orleans a week prior to visiting this place, and received much better service within similar establishments (shout out to Monday in NOLA). I also frequent numerous high profile restaurants/bars in NYC, so for me to take the actual time to leave a review, speaks volumes. Our group was visiting Houston for the weekend and was treated poorly by the staff, but mostly by the manager Kevin (if that is really his name), who did not honor our reservation and allowed walk ins to take the space that was supposed to be reserved for our large party, when we arrived to the establishment on time nonetheless. Kevin was not personable or approachable as a manager and had an attitude of his way or the highway, which is hilarious by the way. It s funny as their is already another one star review highlighting the same manager. A Picture is attached from that particular review. We spent sometime going back and forth with Kevin but decided we weren t going to spend our money in a place that did not want us. We ended up finding a better establishment in the downtown area that accommodated our large party and we re hospitable, which is what I thought Houston was all about. Don t be fooled by what you see on social media. To the owner if Kevin (an African American) is only allowed to keep his job to keep or limit a certain group of people away from the establishment (African Americans), then just say that and market it that way. You won t waste a lot of peoples time and energy, as I m sure others don t want to be patrons of that kind of establishment anyway. FYI, this is not a new tactic and it s the oldest trick in the book, so please be upfront on who you want in your establishment. Service and selection in this place is definitely race related. If you re coming to Houston, don t waste your time with this place. Spend your money elsewhere as we did. I promise that you aren t missing out on anything, look at the reviews. If you re from Houston, why is this place still open and operating???

This place was the absolute worse. We made a reservation over two months ago as we d be visiting from another city. We arrived on time for our reservation and was told our party would need to be split up and it didn t matter if we had a reservation. The manager Kevin was unprofessional, rude and unwilling to accommodate by moving tables together. Would not recommend this place.

Went here with one of my friends to watch the Super Bowl and the atmosphere was great! Despite how crowded it was, our waitress/bartender, Stephanie, checked on us every so often to make sure we were getting food and drinks in a timely manner. She even went so far as to move one of the heaters closer to us because we were getting cold. Fantastic customer service!

I previously rated this place 4 stars but after yesterdays experience I wont be returning. We made a reservation online for a table of 8. When we get there we are informed that we are not on the reservation list. Ok, we will wait. It takes us 20 minutes to check in because the hostess is no where to be found. My party ends up waiting about 1.5 hours by the bar. We order food and drinks at the bar. When a table is available for us the waitress does not want us at her table because we already ordered. We informed her that we will be ordering more drinks and food. Its a group of 8 we will easily spend $400 more... I even asked how much does she want as a tip, we just want a table. No number was given. She will only seat us if we do bottle service, fine, give us the table. Right after we sit they tell us we will need to get up in one hour because of a reservation. Fine. When we tried to place our bottle order they turn around and say its a 2 bottle minimum... at that point I just left. The cheapest price per bottle was $170 for Don Julio which I dont even drink but I was willing to buy just to have a seat. Absolutely ridiculous.

Well On tik tok and Instagram it looked lit so me and my bestie went to give it a try. Highly disappointed for starters walking up there was a man rolling around on the floor come to find out he the manager very distasteful . Walking inside it was dead and dry . Music wasn t all that and we stood around for 5 mins until someone finally acknowledged us. Sitting down it was open and the weather was nice, however food did take a min to come and it was basic the drinks ( the patron tower) was the only good thing. One person near our table was expressing how the food was cold, eggs runny and just how it was also their first time and a bad experience. I overheard the manager say come back on the weekend its better I feel like it shouldn t matter the day service should always be exceptional and if thats the case only open on the weekends then! Will NOT be returning. Also how they just charge a gratuity fee without telling you is also a no for me also they don t offer split payment but do accept cash again WILL NOT BE RETURNING

I would give zero stars but that s impossible. The bartender attempted to make me a drink. Dropped the drink then try to make it a shot from what was left. When I asked her to make another drink because I didn t want a shot she got very nasty and tried to argue than have me removed from the bar. The bar is very active but everyone should be treated fairly as a paying customer. Disappointment.

As we pulled into the parking lot we were greeted by a parking attendant who charged us $10 to park for self parking. We had reservations and were seated promptly our waiter Sadie was amazing. She had over five tables and managed to still provide outstanding customer service and personality Not to mention her make up was so cute. The food was OK it was fresh and it came out in a reasonable amount of time. The waffle was plain but the burger was 10/10! The music was great and the atmosphere was a vibe. This place is for late night - not for lunch/brunch. All bad reviews talk about mediocre food. I mean, honestly, who tf goes to Washington to eat This spot is packed Th-Sa nights. Great vibe and dope music - hip hop/rap with live DJ. Hookah was ok - not the best on Washington. 1 star less because $20 parking.. Parking: $20 too expensive.
