Ive spent 10s of thousands here since they opened. Valentines dinners, birthday parties, dates, professional society parties, continuing education dinners. Will Smith can get his money from elsewhere. I told the waitress the wings were bad. When I came back a few week later she told me I had to leave. OK. Thats fine. I wasnt going to tell anyone that the wings were bad. But since you kicked me out after putting more than 20k in your bosses pocket over the years, here is me telling the whole world the wings were bad that night.

If you go here, just because you love the food go ahead; if you are expecting A+ service from the hostess good luck; there is one that seems to be the head waitress/hostess-she is just crass; but again, if you love the food, just go to eat and forget about your surroundings.

Food: divino salad is light and crisp. Baguettes: nothing special, no flavor. Johnny Chicken with kimchi fried rice is subpar especially for the price. Chicken was soft and juicy but the jerk seasoning is strong. Kimchi fried rice is flat in flavor and salty, it s missing the iconic smoky flavor signature of true well done fried rice. Drink: desert blossom. The alcohol drowns in the sweetness of the drink. Too sweet. Great idea.

The food here is grade A. Great portions, delicious flavors, cooked to perfection. Jess was our server, and she made the perfect recommendations. It was too hot to stay for a cigar, but everything else was great. Highly recommend, but ask to sit under an AC vent!

I sat at the bar and got AMAZING service from Daniel, Michael, and Pulpo. These bartenders are TA-LEN-TED! Fresh juice, great pour, awesome cocktails! Sadly, the restaurant was too warm to stay for dinner. Ill, definitely, be back when it cools down in there.

We had made a reservation for our anniversary and requested a private area for 2 if possible. The place is very dark, and they sat us at a table made for 8? They did accommodate when we asked for something else. I will say the server and bartender made great drinks, but the food was terrible. We expected fine dining food and the chicken was still pink, and the burger I ordered tasted dry and flavorless. We were pretty disappointed as we really wanted a special night and it just didnt deliver. I guess we just expected more since we did reserve for our anniversary.

Really fun place for some upscale food. Everything was super tasty, the atmosphere was pleasant and the service was great. No complaints. The brussel sprouts, tuna Tartare, and the filet were all noteworthy! Highly recommended. Plenty of parking and not too busy on a Saturday evening.

Go through the reviews and you will see some that like this place, others that dont. My experience as well, went there with 5 friends earlier in the week and had a decent experience - spent around $800 for the 6 of us for appetizers, dinner, and drinks. That experience was around 6-7 pm. The last experience, there were just two of us and got in at 10:50pm, after a show, and watched the couple in front of us get seated and ordered food. We sat at the bar, waited for 15 minutes to be asked our order, and then told the kitchen had closed. We ordered our drinks, waited another 15 minutes to get them. Upon finishing our drinks, no one ever checked in with us to see how they were, if they could get anything else for us, I gave up and left cash and walked out. From what I observed, the staff was either busy helping those guests that had ordered food (perhaps focusing on their percentage of the total bill), yes food was still being served when we were told the kitchen had closed, or busy talking amongst themselves. Nice atmosphere, but will I be back? NEVER! There are other locally owned restaurants that are very interested in keeping all of their customers by providing great and consistent service to all (whether you have a large tab, or not).

Great experience. Server was so smart and funny. I hope I get her name right, Cory, thank you for a great time. We will be back. My Cornish hen dinner was delicious. My husband enjoyed the fried chicken with a twist. Our friends had a lot of wine and tequila. They enjoyed the red snapper dish and cant remember what else they ordered. We also had two desserts a delicious ice cream cookie dessert and a papaya, cherry infused sauce on , I think, cake . Not sure, but they were unique and scrumptious

This is the place in McAllen to go to try different drinks or old classics. The staff is always friendly and the food is okay, but their big claim to fame is our bartenders. Their bartenders are geniuses, incredibly knowledgeable, and always willing to accommodate you.

The new management is ruining the character of this gem. They won t let you customize drinks or meal orders. This establishment was known as a craft bar. Not a recipe bar. The chef used to help you get the best experience with your meal. It s still decent place but it used to be a lot more of a unique experience.

Fine Dining....what a Misnomer.....totally a facade as it does not come close to Fine Dining, they can barely spell it. Fine Dining is reserved for places that provide attentive servers, cloth serviette, fine silverware for the different courses, not spacey server, paper napkins and one single fork. What a Joke. And that was just the presentation, understand I reserved and paid a exorbitant amount for Valentines Day Dinner of this year, where we were utterly disappointed to the point of being exacerbated due to the service, mis caliber of establishment, lack of attention, time of serving entrees, and the overly exaggerated menu!! ALL of what made this experience the worst ever. I DO NOT RECOMMEND and WILL NOT RETURN!!

A fine dining experience. The place has a wonderful ambiance and is beautifully decorated. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Enjoyed a special Valentines day dinner which was reasonably priced. Regular menu items were not available but were also priced right for this type of restaurant. Ordered a medium filet. It was well done. I didn t send it back because I was hungry and what more can I expect from a $45 filet? I Sat at the bar and ordered a couple of drinks. I ordered the last of a bottle of George T Stagg under the stipulation that I could take the bottle home with me as a souvenir. It s a beautiful bottle and hard to find. After I finished my drink a different bartender said it wasn t allowed. I wouldn t have ordered the drink if not for the bottle. I was offered nothing more than a sorry from the guy. Side note The female bartender was awesome, very professional, and personable. I can t say that about the other guy.

Had a reservation here this Friday and check-in was a breeze, we were seated right away even though the place was almost full. Service was top notch, lots of waitstaff was available and our own server was very attentive to our needs. My meat was cooked exactly as ordered and the drinks were top-notch. I wish there hadnt been as many items on the menu unavailable, but under the current circumstances, its too be expected. Still, this was an excellent dining experience and we cant wait to go back.

I love this space for happy hour! They removed chicken from menu (bummer for those who don t eat red meat) Not many vegan options. Don t eat steak but hear it s great VERY Bummed they charge $25.00 if you bring your own cake to celebrate. (Even if you buy a dessert with them too) it s not about the $25 bucks but the principle that it doesn t make sense when that s more or equal value to the cake brought in. Pretty sad. Especially when we are regular customers!

Get the burger!!!!!!! It is unbelievably delicious and exceptional flavor with the finely crafted additions. These enhance its complexity, especially the sesame seed bun. Drinks were great and the all day HH on Tuesday is solid, just make sure to confirm youre still getting HH prices if you substitute the whiskey. (We were surprised at the end, but should have asked.)

The cocktails were very good. The filet was cooked a bit more than medium rare but delicious none the less. Ribeye was delicious but the sauce very rich. The chicken dish was very disappointing. Chicken skin was not crisp and there was fatty bits rendering it unappetizing. While the chicken itself was flavorless. Definitely stay away from the poultry offerings on the menu.

I remember why it s been a while since I ve eaten here. The service is atrociously slow. We had 3 people taking care of us but still had 10-15 minute periods with no attention. Very frustrating especially when you re ordering top shelf drinks the whole night and dropping a pretty penny on dinner. The food is great, but the lack of attention is uncompromisingly bad.

The food and cocktails are nothing less than perfectly delicious and well worth the price. The staff is friendly, attentive, and professional. My ONE grievance is with such beautiful surroundings, high quality food and exemplary service, why would they feel the need to charge $25.00 just for you to cut a cake that you bring in?? I understand this means you missed out on our desert business, but after 6 of us ordered the filet, ($44 each), 2 ordered salads, to start, ($13each), and all of us had no less than 3 perfectly crafted cocktails, (at no less than$11 each), are you really missing out? This seems greedy and tacky for such a seemingly divine establishment.

McAllen native/ business owner... walked in, was told I needed a reservation. Walked out made a reservation online (no specified location in the restaurant) for 45 min later, walked back in, hostess says the online reservation system not working properly... (2 empty 2-person spots available at the bar) and was told I couldn t sit at bar. Fine, hostess sat us at the lounge, hostess said: we can sit you at a table after they clean it . Sat, waited 30 min for 2 drinks, decided to closed our tab. Hostess said there s a spot at bar let me know if you want it. Literally 2 min. later got up to take the spot at bar, hostess stopped us to say it was reserved...( RESERVED by the reservation system that doesn t work). Place is not even at full capacity (COVID) and it takes 30 min. to get a drink. Sad... been coming here for years simply for the great service. Time to look else where.

If you ever want to eat something out of the ordinary, go to this restaurant. The food is exquisite, the atmosphere is fantastic and the servers are very friendly and knowledgeable. You are not just grabbing a meal, it s an event. I loved it. 5 stars are not enough for this restaurant.

casual and find dining. the best in our area. Chef Eugenio brings a world of knowledge in the culinary arts and creates menus to fit everyones palate. from amazing cocktails to dishes. to a simple burger, but fantastic flavor. I highly recommend the AguaChile Rib-eye (when available) by far my favorite!!!
